“Impulse” 20th-anniversary reflections A distress call leads the Enterprise to a derelict Vulcan cruiser trapped in an asteroid field. When the crew boards the ship to mount a rescue, they find not the calm and cold Vulcans they're used to but rather scary and cold zombies. As they attempt to get off the ship, whatever has transformed the Vulcan crew begins to affect T'Pol. And as her behavior becomes more and more irrational, a new threat to survival comes from within the landing party itself. In this episode of Warp Five, hosts C Bryan Jones and Matthew Rushing continue our 20th-anniversary retrospective that takes you through all of Star Trek: Enterprise, one episode at a time. In this installment, we continue Season 3 with “Impulse” as we discuss how the story flips the Human–Vulcan narrative and accelerates T'Pol's character development. Most of us think we have a pretty good idea about what love is. After all, we have all been seeking it our entire lives. And yet, the reality is that most of us don't really understand it at all. Inspired by recent insights from the Upbuild weekly program Remembering Who We Are, Vipin, Rasanath, and Hari Prasada delve into the concept of love as the highest form of motivation. They shed light on why most of us misunderstand love, how we tend to reduce or dismiss love, what we use as our substitutes for real love, and the conditions that need to be present for the experience of real love.Send us a Text Message.Links:www.upbuild.comwww.upbuild.com/enneagram101 Instagram: @upbuildnycFacebook: UpbuildLinkedIn: Upbuild

What we have heard and we've read in the Bible, well it ain't necessarily so. So goes the old Porgy and Bess song. Perhaps they did not read Thomas Moore's version, Gospel The Book of John, in which regardless of religion or atheism one discovers a deeper more meaningful spirituality hidden in the root meanings of the words used. Unfortunately, much of the work of John and others has been turned into moralistic dogma. But what we find in the root language is a more celebrative, deeply mystical and loving message. In Moore's book we discover a different Jesus than the one described for us by earlier translations. This new rendition of Jesus is Dionysian in his urging us toward a full and meaningful celebration of living. He tells us that we are to remember who we are, and he guides us to that knowledge with his actions and words. Come learn of this new Jesus. See if you like him now.

This is the third and final piece of a longer conversation with Fr. Charles McCarthy. We respond to Bishop Barron's article "1917 and Remembering Who We Are" (Jan. Today we welcome two extraordinary interstellar communicators (channelers) Pia Smith Orleane and Cullen Baird Smith, to A Fine Time for Healing. Through the joining of their hands, and the merging of their hearts and minds, Pia and Cullen share the wisdom of other Light Beings, who call themselves Laarkmaa. Laarkmaa is a group of advanced light beings from the Pleiades (an open star cluster also known as Seven Sisters) who send messages of guidance, wishing to help humanity evolve. Years of these communications were recorded and transcribed into the two books, Conversations With Laarkmaa and Remembering Who We Are. Pia and Cullen's work with Laarkma accelerated their abilities to communicate with other dimensional beings who also present themselves in an urgent attempt to reach humanity and elevate our consciousness. Today, through their communications with these inter-dimensional beings, Pia Smith Orleane and Cullen Baird Smith will bring forth a wealth of profound information.
