The Upbuilding The Self podcast is a valuable resource for personal growth and self-improvement. As the co-founder and Co-CEO of a large organization, I have found myself returning to this podcast time and time again for its insightful conversations, helpful habits, and deep knowledge. Each episode has a unique way of pushing me to improve myself and explore my truest self. The dedication of the hosts to their own personal growth is evident in the way they share their experiences and show the way for others. This podcast is truly a gift that keeps on giving.
One of the best aspects of The Upbuilding The Self podcast is its ability to articulate complex concepts like the ego in a digestible and relatable way. These topics can often be hard to grasp, but the hosts do an excellent job of breaking them down into understandable terms. They use real-life examples and relatable situations to help listeners connect with the material on a deeper level. This makes it easier for individuals to apply these teachings to their own lives and make positive changes.
However, one potential downside of this podcast is that it may not appeal to everyone. The discussions can be quite introspective and delve into esoteric teachings from ancient traditions. While this may be fascinating for some listeners, others may find it difficult to relate or might not be interested in such deep introspection. Additionally, some episodes may feel repetitive if you've already listened to previous ones that cover similar topics.
In conclusion, The Upbuilding The Self podcast is an incredible resource for anyone seeking personal growth, knowledge, and insight. It offers deep insights into topics like the ego in a way that is easy to understand and apply to one's own life. While not everyone may resonate with all episodes, those who are open to introspection will find great value in this podcast. I highly recommend giving it a listen and exploring the profound wisdom shared by the hosts.
Many of us pride ourselves on our ability to compartmentalize. We like to keep our personal and professional lives separate, push aside difficult emotions, and stay productive in the face of whatever comes our way. But what if this “skill” we value so highly is quietly cutting us off from our own hearts? In this episode, Hari Prasada, Rasanath, and Vipin examine why compartmentalization seems helpful but ultimately prevents us from being our best self. They distinguish between presence and suppression, explore how disconnection from the heart affects our relationships, and discuss what it takes to return to the emotions we've long set aside.Links Enneagram Certification Program (starts May 17th) Upbuild Coaching Certification Training (starts in October) Upbuild Website Instagram: @upbuildnycFacebook: UpbuildLinkedIn: Upbuild

How can Donald Trump be the same type as Martin Luther King, Jr? How can Nelson Mandela be the same type as Osama bin Laden? It all comes down to the Levels of Consciousness. In this episode, we explore the most important dimension of the Enneagram, the Levels of Consciousness, which is so critical because it gives us the roadmap to be the best version of ourselves. No type on the Enneagram is better than any of the other types. Each type has its gifts and challenges. So the goal of the Enneagram is not to unconsciously identify ourselves as the type that we find most attractive. Instead, the goal is to become conscious of the type that we already are, no matter how unflattering it might be, and use that awareness to become a better version of that type. The Levels of Consciousness, shows us, as we often say in our workshops, how we can shed the layers of the ego — our identity of who we think we should be — so we can be who we are. It is our key to personal growth and a jumping off point for self-realization.Links:www.upbuild.comwww.upbuild.com/enneagram101 Instagram: @upbuildnycFacebook: UpbuildLinkedIn: Upbuild
