According to the Song of Songs God has placed a garden inside his bride. This Garden defuses the fragrance of Christ in everything you do & everywhere you go.
Man has his idea of what a city of the future should look like, but what about a City who's Builder and Maker is God? What will that City be like? Songs: God is My Refuge, The Meeting in the Air and Jesus and Me. We look into the book of Isaiah. II Peter and Revelations for The City of the Future.
Today we're looking at a book in the Old Testament called Song of Songs. Many readers are confused when they find this love poem in the Bible. It talks about the passionate love between this husband and wife, written in a way that no one speaks today. But the poem honestly shows love and sexual desire without embarrassment or shame..Some scholars made a connection between the love between this husband and wife and the love we experience with Jesus, who is God. In Scripture, we see God pursuing His people with an unceasing love, culminating in Jesus's death and resurrection. He did this to unite us to Himself, and this unity will be completed when Christ returns to bring heaven to earth and live forever with His people. So we can think of Jesus's love for us when the bride in Song of Songs says, “Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame” (8:6). Jesus's love for us is like a blazing glory and unquenchable fire. Nothing can break that love..When people fall deeply in love, they are changed by the joy they experience. Likewise, when we are captivated by the all-consuming, never-ending love of God, it shines in us. We can be free of shame in the love we feel for the One who created us, forgives us from our sins, and restores us to wholeness..So whenever we dive into the Song of Songs or other types of love poetry, as we see the love between two people, we can also see the love Christ has for the church. And through all of our relationships—both romantic and non-romantic—we can spread His love without embarrassment. God created human love, and with that love, we point back to Him. • Corinna Kahrs.• In what ways have you personally experienced the love of God? If nothing comes to mind, you can ask God to reveal His love to you anytime—He delights to answer these prayers. .• What are some ways we can glorify God and show His love in our relationships? .• God created romantic love and sexual desire as good gifts to be enjoyed by a husband and wife, so we don't need to be embarrassed about these things. When you have questions about romance, sex, and marriage, who are trusted Christians you feel comfortable talking to? If no one comes to mind, you can ask God to help you identify someone in the future..Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love. Song of Songs 2:4 (NIV)
This book, also called the Song of Solomon, is one of the most neglected - and controversial - books of the Bible. It is a book about lovemaking from an author who had 700 wives and 300 concubines. So explicit are these aspects that because of its erotic content, the rabbis forbade the book to be read by anyone under the age of 30. Almost every verse has been the subject of debate by its interpreters. Probably no other book of the Bible has such a variegated tapestry of interpretation. Yet, all Scripture speaks of the glory and beauty of our Messiah. John the Baptist recognized Christ as the Bridegroom, as Christ Himself also claimed. And Paul pressed the idiom even further, as does John in the Book of Revelation. Of the more than 1,000 songs of Solomon only this was designed by God to be included in the Biblical canon. Yes, I get it, it's sexy. But is it good sexy? And could it possibly, in any universe, represent the love between Jesus and His bride? In this episode: many questions and one sure thing about God as revealed in (what I perceive to be) the most confusing book in the Bible. Join me as I pretty much completely disagree with the traditional interpretation of Song of Songs. Exciting!
For many of us, talking about S-E-X, is terrifying, especially at church. But Song of Songs, the orginal great love ballad in Scripture offers a healthy way of understanding emotional and physical intimacy in a way that honors God and others.

Joseph, Spouse of Mary And Father of Jesus | Word and Songs “God's mercy is from age to age…he casts the mighty from their thrones and raises up the lowly ones!” We cannot contemplate the great things the Lord has done in Mary's life without at the same time contemplating Joseph, her spouse. We do not hear a word from Joseph in the scriptural narratives, but it is not difficult for us to imagine how he may have lived alongside Mary and Jesus, as a loving husband and a tender father. From the time the angel assured him in a dream that what Mary conceives is from the Holy Spirit and that he will save God's people from their sins, he let go of all his hesitations and took full responsibility of his family. As a husband Joseph was “just” which means faithful, and so alongside Mary, he also said his own “yes” to God's plan for him to be Mary's husband and Jesus' foster father. He was also faithful to Mary, caring for her needs while they waited for the baby to be born, protecting her and moving her away from harm. He was a steady companion and faithful traveler with Mary on the journey of marriage. Joseph was not only faithful to Mary, he was also faithful to Jesus – he protected him when he learned of Herod's plan to kill the child; and when Jesus was growing as child, he faithfully and devoutly took care of him, loving Jesus as his very own. As a father, we can imagine Joseph giving his share in the household duties, in taking care of their son Jesus, in helping him walk and talk, in teaching him to pray, in passing on to him the values that he had: love and faith in God, simplicity, gentleness, serenity, love for work, self-sacrifice. Through and through, he was a guardian or a protector of his family. Pope Francis, in one of his addresses said: “Being a guardian is the distinctive trait of Joseph: Being the guardian is his great mission . . . We look to Joseph as the model educator, who watches over and accompanies Jesus as he grows ‘in wisdom, age and grace,' as the Gospel says. He was not Jesus' father: the father of Jesus was God, but he was a father to Jesus, he was a father to Jesus in order to help him grow. And how did he help him grow? In wisdom, age and grace.” God has done wondrous deeds not only in Mary, but also in Joseph, her faithful spouse. Script: Sr. Melba Grace Lobaton, fsp | Daughters of St Paul

Conditions amid the coronavirus crisis are bad—but they are actually mild compared to what Jesus Christ Himself prophesied would come just before His Second Coming. God is mercifully trying to encourage people to repent now, before circumstances get far worse. We look at several prophecies of the Great Tribulation to come, and gain insight into them by studying the history of life in the Soviet gulags, through the eyes of prisoner Alexander Solzhenitsyn. The horrifying conditions of captivity can actually bring moral clarity and repentance—they can turn a person’s heart away from vanity and toward God. Terrible as it will be, the Great Tribulation is actually a powerful tool of God’s love and mercy. He will use it to accomplish some beautiful results. This Psalm is uncharacteristic in that it has a remarkably dark ending. Heman cries out to the Lord and prays to him, yet God hides his face from him. This man is surrounded by darkness and there is no light getting through. What is a prayer like this doing in the Bible? Rather be naive about the inevitable disappointment in life, we can learn that although darkness can last a long time, it is often the best place to learn about God's grace. Ultimately, that Jesus descended into darkness so that we can look forward to living in the light.
