John 4:35 states, “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” There's a great urgency for the Lord of the Harvest to thrust forth labourers. Revival is always unto the harvest and the harvest is unto the Marantha cry, “Come Lord Jesus, come!” This global harvest is going to be unto His Second Coming. Will you be in or out?

“The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’” (Matthew 25:21 NLT) After Jesus described the events surrounding His Second Coming, He ended His Olivet Discourse by sharing four parables with His disciples. The parables continue the themes of punishment and preparing for the Master’s return. But each one adds a new perspective to the discussion. The first parable, found in Matthew 24:45–51, deals with a faithful servant who manages his master’s household wisely while his master is away. The faithful servant cares for and feeds his fellow servants. When the master returns, he rewards the faithful servant by entrusting him with greater responsibilities. An evil servant, on the other hand, beats his fellow servants, parties, and gets drunk while his master is away. When the master returns, he punishes the evil servant. The wise servant was faithful because he trusted that his master would return. That’s why he took his responsibilities so seriously. The evil servant acted wickedly because he had some doubts about his master returning. He chose to follow his own agenda instead of his master’s. The second parable, found in Matthew 25:1–13, involves ten bridesmaids who go to meet the bridegroom at midnight. Five wise bridesmaids made sure to take enough olive oil for their lamps; five foolish bridesmaids didn’t. The five foolish bridesmaids leave to buy oil. While they’re gone, the bridegroom comes and escorts the five wise bridesmaids to the wedding feast. The five foolish bridesmaids are locked out. The bridegroom is Jesus. The five wise bridesmaids are followers who are prepared for His return. The five foolish bridesmaids are those who are unprepared for His coming. The third parable, found in Matthew 25:14–30, deals with a master who entrusts three servants with money while he’s away. Two of the servants invest the money entrusted to them so that they have a return to show their master when he comes back. They are rewarded for wisely using what their master gave them. The third servant buried the money entrusted to him because he was afraid of losing it. He is punished for his foolish use of his resources. The first two servants knew and trusted their master. The third servant did not. The fourth parable, found in Matthew 25:31–46, is set after Jesus returns to judge the world. He will separate the sheep, the people who accepted Him as Savior and Lord, from the goats, the people who rejected Him. The sheep, whose lives were changed by Jesus, cared for those closest to His heart—the poor, the needy, the outcasts. The goats, whose lives were unchanged, ignored those people. Two thousand years after Jesus shared these parables with His followers, their truths still resonate. We don’t know when Jesus will return. But we have important responsibilities to fulfill in the meantime. Let’s make the most of our time by growing in our faith, encouraging and supporting our fellow believers, and sharing Jesus’ message with the people who need to hear it. Reflection question: What do you take away from the last four parables Jesus shared with His followers?Support the show: https://harvest.org/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
“Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, ‘Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?’” (Matthew 24:3 NLT) The Jerusalem temple was a magnificent structure, one the Jewish people were exceedingly proud of. Jesus’ disciples were no exception. As they left the temple, they pointed out its beauty and grandeur to Jesus. His reply must have shocked them. “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!” (Matthew 24:2 NLT). Imagine how shocked the disciples would have been if they’d known His prophecy would be fulfilled in less than forty years. On the way back to Bethany, they stopped on a slope of the Mount of Olives. The disciples’ curiosity got the better of them. “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?” (verse 3 NLT). Jesus’ reply, which is known as the Olivet Discourse, takes up the better part of two chapters of the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus revealed God’s future plans for Israel—plans that are also discussed in Daniel 9:24–27 and Revelation 6:1–19:21. He described the seven-year Tribulation period that will follow the Rapture, as well as His own Second Coming, which will end the Tribulation. The images are disturbing—war, famine, earthquakes, and persecution. False messiahs and false prophets will lead people astray. Sin will run rampant. Love will run cold. Through it all, though, the Good News of Christ will be preached throughout the world. Matthew 24:21 offers a sobering summary of the Tribulation, especially the second half: “For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again” (NLT). When the suffering reaches its crescendo, “All the peoples of the earth . . . will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” (verse 30 NLT). The King will not be riding a donkey when He returns. He will not be meek. And He will not come in peace. He will come to conquer evil once and for all. He will come to usher in His kingdom. He will come to pronounce judgment on this sinful world. And to those who would try to predict the day of His Second Coming based on the signs and events He described, Jesus offered this reality check: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows” (verse 36 NLT). Jesus wants us to understand that His will is not for us to try to figure out the dates of these end-time events. His will is for us to be ready when they do occur—and to make sure that others are ready, too. Reflection question: How can you help prepare others, especially unbelievers, for Jesus’ return? The New Testament describes Jesus as the “son of David.” But the question arises, how could Jesus be the son of David if David lived approximately 1,000 years before Jesus? The answer is that Christ (the Messiah) was the fulfillment of the prophecy of the seed of David. Today, Pastor Dion will explain that Jesus is the promised Messiah, which means He had to be of the lineage of David. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies concerning His First Coming, and He'll fulfill those concerning His Second Coming!
Jesus Followers Have Eternal Life, Even Before their Earthly Death, Because Whoever “believes him {God} who sent me {Jesus}” MESSAGE SUMMARY: First, the moment you become a Jesus Follower, you have immediate Eternal Life; and you become a Citizen of Heaven. Jesus tells us, in John 5:24, that His followers have Eternal Life and are Citizens of Heaven here on earth living their earthly lives: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.". As Christians and Citizens of Heaven, we know that the Lord is coming back -- either to greet us when we die or before we die at His Second Coming. For most of us, however, our vision of Heaven is clouded by looking backwards; therefore, the return of Jesus does not have any power in our life. Paul reinforces the return of the Lord of Heaven in Philippians 1:6: “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.". When Jesus returns, we will put on our spiritual bodies, as promised. As Jesus tells us in Matthew 4:17: “From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.'”. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, Sabbath rest is truly an unbelievable gift! Through examining the angel Gabriel's message to Daniel, we'll discover how this prophecy precisely predicted Christ's first coming down to the exact day and what it reveals about His Second Coming. We can have absolute that God is the only one who controls and foretells the future. Later in the subscriber portion - I'll also tackle some really important questions, such as... Is Donald Trump the Antichrist?" Are the seven years of the Tribulation measure in human years or God's years? How can you explain the pre-Tribulation Rapture to some who holds a post-Tribulation view? Can you still go in the Rapture if you've never led anyone to Christ? I answer all these questions directly from Scripture. I know questions like these weigh heavily on the hearts of many believers' so I want to answer all of them according to God's Word. These are just a few of the things we'll cover in our subscriber portion long with my thoughts on the recent New Orleans terror attack and an important milestone that happened on the Temple Mount last year that tells us Jesus is coming soon. Friends of the Rosary, Today, December 1, is the first Sunday of Advent and the beginning of the new Liturgical Year. This means a renewed commitment to the faith by all who follow Christ the Lord—the One who was incarnated for us. Advent awakens Christians to be ‘vigilant waiting' for Our Lord Jesus' coming. It's a preparation to welcome the mystery of the Word Incarnate. In this Sunday Gospel (Luke 21:25-28, 34-36), Jesus invites us to recognize the signs of the last days. This reminds us that Advent is about our preparation for Christ's first coming at Christmas and His Second Coming. "Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man," said Jesus. The true light entered the world through Mary's immaculate womb. The light of Christ flows out into our dark, obscure, and sinful lives to illuminate them. In this way, we become the light that illuminates the world in service of others. Saint John Henry Newman described the meaning of the Advent Season: "Advent is a time of waiting; it is a time of joy because the coming of Christ is not only a gift of grace and salvation but also a time of commitment because it motivates us to live the present as a time of responsibility and vigilance." Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You! Come, Holy Spirit, come! To Jesus through Mary! + Mikel Amigot | RosaryNetwork.com, New York • December 1, 2024, Today's Rosary on YouTube | Daily broadcast at 7:30 pm ET
Advent is the waiting - the preparing our hearts for Jesus. We celebrate the first coming of Jesus at Christmas, and we prepare our hearts for His Second Coming. The entire Old Testament was pointing God's people to our Blessed Hope, Jesus. Jesus came to bring salvation to both the Jews and the Gentiles - to all who are far off from God. There are more prophecies about Jesus' Second Coming than even His first coming. Our hope is in Jesus today. When Jesus returns He will make all things right. But, until then, we wait in expectation and hope. Come, Lord Jesus!

This teaching is from Matthew 24:36-25:30. We pick up today's class with Jesus and His teaching on His Second Coming. In these opening passages of today's text we hear Jesus' encouragement to not let the day of his final appearing catch us unaware. We can't know the day or the hour of His return but, we CAN know Him! We can't know the time of his return but we CAN know the importance of living by faith in Him. So multiple times Jesus encourages us to KEEP WATCH and to BE AWAKE to His return. Next Jesus shares three parables all having to do with His return and us being ready - awake - when He comes. 1 - Owner and Thief - Jesus' coming is unexpected 2 - Wise and Wicked - Jesus' coming is sooner than expected 3 - Ten Virgins - Jesus' coming is later than expected. These three parables again speak to the fact that we just do not know when He will return so we need to be always be ready for His return! After these three parables about being ready for His return, Jesus tells a parable: “Bags of Gold (often called Talents of Gold) from Matthew 25:14-30. The story is of a Master entrusting His wealth to 3 of His servants. Each is given a different amount and then the Master goes on a journey. The servant that received 5 bags of gold puts his money to work and gains 5 more bags and the same thing for the servant given 2 bags of gold, he doubles his as well. But the man who received 1 bag dug a hole in the ground and hid the money. Then after a long time the Master returned and settled the accounts with the 3 servants. Servants 1 and 2 each received these words from the Master, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” This is what we each want to hear from God - that we used what He gave us wisely. The parable continues with the Master inviting them saying, “Come! Share in your Master's happiness! (Eternal Life forever with Him). We are to live by faith - serving and honoring God. We are not saved because we serve and honor Him - rather we serve and honor Him because we are saved through Jesus. With the third servant who hid the gold - this servant said, “I know you are a hard Master so I was afraid and hid your gold, but here's what you originally gave me.” (This is not a true statement by this 3rd servant. God's character is one of goodness, He is pure, holy, just, faithful, true and loving.) This servant did not live by faith but was instead hard-hearted. The Master replies to him, “You wicked, lazy servant,” and this servant's gold was given to the servant with 10 bags of gold and that 3rd servant was thrown into the darkness. Jesus is returning and there is judgement - either to eternity with Him or to eternity without Him. With Him forever is what we want - so be encouraged to serve Him with your eyes on Jesus, and eagerly anticipating His return! Ron Wallace, Bible teacher with The Bible Fragrances Biblical Studies Institute, contonues with part 5 of Christ's Teachings about His Second Coming. In this episode, Ron looks at Luke 17:20-37. He will review what has been taught about the Kingdom of God because of the question to Jesus, "When will the kingdom of God come?" Ron will also teach about a very important statement made by Jesus: "The days are coming when you will long for one of the days of the Son of Man AND YOU WILL NOT SEE IT." Dinally, in this passage, we will see proof that the ones who are taken to the side of the Lord at the rapture, mentioned in Matthew 24:40, are not - and cannot be - ones who are taken in judgment as illustrated by the ones taken away at the flood.
Send us a messageAs the last minutes of the Last Hour continue to quickly tick toward the Midnight Hour, Paul the Apostle alerted us to the Rapture of God's True Church which is the next main event on God's Prophetic Calendar – with Paul's encouragement in 2 Timothy 4:8 that there is great reward for those who long for the Lord's Coming or as Paul also put it – our “Blessed Hope – in the midst of mockers who ridicule us.Scripture is also very clear in its description of the Tribulation Period that will follow the Rapture – and the global empire of the Antichrist which will last for seven years but will be utterly destroyed by Jesus the Messiah at His Glorious Return at His Second Coming. The Antichrist's global reign has been in preparation as far back as the Garden of Eden when Satan convinced Adam and Eve to believe his lies and they became melded into his mutinous plans in which he was purposed to gain not only their worship – but the worship of the whole world. In this Podcast Series, we will be covering the many components that are converging in formation of the Beast System, with “Be Ready” warning to thosewho have ears to hear.Support the showVisit our website: https://agapelightministries.com/

There are no longer any prophecies that need to be fulfilled, for Jesus to take His Church home to be with Him. His Second Coming should be treated as imminent, and your life should reflect your belief that He's coming quickly. Today, Pastor Ken will be challenging you to examine your life and see if your actions reveal that you truly believe He's coming at any moment. The Bible makes it clear that those who actually believe these things will keep themselves pure, just as the Lord is pure.
As Pastor Ken continues his teaching series, he'll be explaining that there are more prophecies regarding the Lord's Second Coming, than His First Coming. The Hebrew Scriptures indicate that the Promised One would appear, be cut off, and then reappear in victory. The first advent has occurred; the second is still in the future. Both the New and Old Testaments predict a second advent of the Messiah. If Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of His First Coming, He'll fulfill the ones regarding His Second Coming also.
Paul tells us that we are living in the “last hour”. The Return of Christ is near. So how should we live while we are waiting in the constant expectancy of His Second Coming? Pastor Gary summarizes Paul's instruction with five exhortations: (1) Wake up, (2) Cast off, (3) Put on, (4) Walk right, and (5) Think not about how to gratify sinful desires. Follow along in today's study as we learn how to live godly lives while we wait for Christ's Return.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. In Luke twenty-one, verse twenty-seven, Jesus spoke those words in reference to His Second Coming, a future event that has been described as the most climactic event in human history. No one knows the day or the hour, but the question Ron wants to ask you today is, in light of what will happen then, how should you be living now. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/something-good-radio/support

The New Covenant is one of the most important topics we can understand about the plan of God among people. Yet even though it's the covenant we're in right now with God, many Christians don't understand it. Today, in our study of Isaiah 42, we're going to look at one of the earliest references to the New Covenant found in the Old Testament. Join us for the key study in this key chapter! DISCUSSION AND STUDY QUESTIONS: 1. Isaiah 42 continues to build on the idea that a New Kingdom is coming. In verse 1, we find out that the leader of this kingdom is also a servant. Who is He a servant of? What does that indicate about His own nature and character? 2. The podcast explained that Isaiah 42 is one of several “Servant Songs” in the book of Isaiah. The four “Servant Songs” are found in Isaiah 42, 49, 50 & 53. What is a "Servant Song”? Why is it important to know about these “Servant Songs” when interpreting these passages? 3. Look over verse 1 again. How do we see the fingerprints of the Trinity in this verse? 4. Many Jewish people say that the servant here is the nation of Israel. While that is true in Isaiah 41:8-9, what were some of the reasons given in the podcast for why Israel is not the Servant here in Isaiah 42? Why is this “new” (or different) Servant necessary? 5. Verse 1 also speaks to the nature of the reign of the Servant. What kind of kingdom He establish? 6. In verses 2 to 4, how does He go about establishing this kingdom? In these verses, does it sound like Christ's kingdom expanding through conquest? How would you say that this kingdom is being established in these verses? How do we see this prophecy working out in our world today? 7. How does verse 5 show us the accountability that all people have to God? 8. Isaiah 42 introduces one of the earliest passages in the Bible about the New Covenant. In verse 6, what covenant is God appointing the Servant to bring to the nations? According to the podcast, what is the significance of the Lord's plan to move on from the Mosaic covenant? 9. In verse 7, why does the Lord characterize people's entrance into this kingdom as having blind eyes opened and being freed from dungeons? How did Jesus echo these principles in His Gospel proclamations? 10. In verses 10 to 12, what is the atmosphere of this kingdom? 11. Verses 13 to 15 speak of a different time period in the establishment of this kingdom. Verses 2 to 4 speak of Jesus' first coming and how He works in the world now. Verses 13 to 15 speak of His Second Coming when He will judge the nations and finally and fully establish His kingdom. How are these two interactions with mankind different? Why are they so different? 12. Verses 16 to 25 speak of the spiritual condition of mankind. What is the dominant malady of people described in these verses? What are the various responses to the Lord that are given in these verses? What accounts for these differences? What does this look like in our world today? How were you once blind? How do you now see? Check out our Bible Study Guide on the Key Chapters of Genesis! Available on Amazon! When we sin, does God abandon us? No! And today in our study of Isaiah 40, we see a clear example of this principle as God comforts His people even while they are in exile under His judgment. Isaiah 40 is a well-known chapter that will be even more cherished as we examine the comfort of the Lord. DISCUSSION AND STUDY QUESTIONS: 1. The podcast mentioned that Isaiah 40 represents a major shift in the tone and theme of the book of Isaiah. What is that shift and why do you think it occurs here? 2. According to the podcast, what are the overall circumstances that this passage is prophetically speaking to? Who is the intended audience and why do they need to hear this message of comfort? 3. In verse 1, why does the Lord want His people to know His comfort and “kind words”? What has been the Lord's message up until now? Why is this change necessary? 4. In verse 3, who will bring their comfort? 5. In past episodes of the podcast, we've discussed how often prophecies are like a "mountain range" where there are small fulfillments along the way to confirm the validity of the promises and encourage us to wait for their ultimate fulfillment when Christ returns to establish His kingdom. With this in mind, what event is being spoken of in verses 4 to 11? How was this partially fulfilled at the end of the exile? How was this partially fulfilled in Christ's first coming? How will this ultimately be fulfilled in His Second Coming? 6. How would the restoration being spoken about in these verses bring comfort to people who are under God's judgment? 7. In verse 10, why is the word “GOD” in all caps? In light of your answer, what is the nature of the Messiah that is being spoken of in these verses? 8. Look over verses 10 to 12. How do these verses reveal the fingerprints of the Trinity? 9. How does Isaiah describe God's relationship to His people in verse 11? How was this fulfilled by Jesus? 10. What do verses 12 to 14 tell us about the wisdom and power of God? Why is this so important for establishing the kind of faith that waits for the Lord? 11. In verses 15 to 17, is the Lord bound by the machinations of the nations? Why is that answer vital for us to know as God unfolds His plans for the world? 12. Read over verses 18 to 26. What do these verses tell you about the power and wisdom of God? Which ones do you find most meaningful? Why? 13. Verses 28 to 31 give a famous passage of scripture. Think about what the Lord has been saying through Isaiah for the past 39 chapters. What new point is He making here? Why is this vital to being able to wait for the Lord? Why do we need Him to strengthen us to wait for Him? 14. In your own life, are there any places where you need to wait for the Lord? Have you sought His strengthening grace that you might wait for Him with enduring faithfulness? What does this kind of waiting look like in your life? As we continue working through the book of Isaiah, today we look at Isaiah 29 which addressed the hard-hearted, prideful worship of the Southern Kingdom. We'll talk about what it looks like and ways to deal with our own tendency to trend towards false worship in our own life. Join us! DISCUSSION AND STUDY QUESTIONS: 1. According to the podcast, what does the name “Ariel” in verse 1 signify? Who is the Lord addressing with this term? Why? 2. In verse 2, the Lord says that He will bring distress upon “Ariel”. What does this distress look like in verse 3? What will be the result in verse 4? 3. According to the podcast, what does the term “dust” in verse 5 speak to? Why would it be a problem to have their enemy become “like fine dust”? 4. Who will bring this punishment upon them in verse 6? What does this indicate about how His unseen hand works in the dealings of mankind? 5. What kind of wrong responses of the people are given in verses 9 to 11? Why are they struggling to respond rightly to the Lord's discipline? 6. Verse 13 starts to unpack the basis of their sins against the Lord. How are the people sinning? In light of their broken covenant with God, why do these sins merit such judgment? 7. Think back to our studies in God's Word so far. Where have you seen false worship in the scriptures? What was God's response? How does this motivate us to be sure that we're worshiping the Lord in our spirit according to His truth? 8. What will the Lord bring to an end in verse 14? Why? 9. How do verses 15 & 16 characterize their understanding of God? How might people still fall into these same sins today? 10. What is the change in tone & message in verse 17? Who are these words of encouragement for? 11. According to verses 22-24, what does God promise to His people? Who will be the one who experiences these promises? How does this tie into the Lord Jesus Christ and His Second Coming? Check out our Bible Study Guide on the Key Chapters of Genesis! Available on Amazon! Last week we explored how the Last Judgment is not a future event that will sweep away all the evil of the world and bring an end to all our issues, but rather a spiritual event that took place hundreds of years ago, paving the way for us to freely deal with our issues. That was not the only thing that happened though: at the same time the Lord made His Second Coming, His long-awaited return to Earth. He made His advent not by appearing in person however, but through a series of books that we know today as the Heavenly Doctrines, or the Teachings of the New Church. This Sunday we'll talk about how the Lord comes to each one of us through these new ideas.
Thank you that there is nothing I can do to earn your love; it comes without any strings attached. As I close my eyes for these few minutes before you, all I can say is, thank you! In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 133). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM A CHILD OF GOD. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. Michael Ufferman from Zion's Hope continues his "Twins of a Different Covenant" study, now delving into the second twin, the Book of Jude. In this session, Michael identifies the audience to whom Jude is addressing. In the first twin, the Book of Malachi, God warned the priesthood to adhere to biblical righteousness so they could stand when the Lord appeared at His First Coming. When Christ visited the Temple and assessed the righteousness of the Priesthood, He found it severely lacking; to the extent that those who should have recognized their Messiah actually crucified Him. Malachi serves as the final book in the Old Testament before Christ's First Coming. God deemed it necessary to provide a book with exhortations to the priesthood prior to His First Coming. Does God follow a similar pattern in the New Testament? Does He provide a book with exhortations to the priesthood before His Second Coming? Indeed, God has done just that in the second twin, the Book of Jude, our last Scripture text before the Book of Revelation, which details the events surrounding Christ's Second Coming. You're invited to enjoy this third installment of a 4-part series!
