AMRAP : 14 60 Cal Row50 Toes To Bar40 Wall Balls30 Power Cleans 20 Ring Muscle upsShould you RX or SCALE?If you feel confident with toes to bar, wall balls and power cleans at those weights and standards, HIT RX! The ring muscle ups are a bonus for your fitness! Just be sure that you push the pace on the power cleans to maximize your tie break if you do not plan on getting more than a few muscle ups (if any)If you don't quite have toes to bar or you feel insecure about the weight, I think scaling is fine to optimize your expression of FITNESS. Push to try and match the scores of some of the best in the RX division! Strategy Notes:Go into this workout with the end goal in mind. What would be a realistic goal for you? Then backtrack from there. Row - This should be a hard but manageable pace. You should feel an effort of around 7 out of 10 but should be able to get right to work on the toes to bar. Think of a pace you can maintain between 3-4 min for men and 4-5 min for women. Before going into this workout, get on the rower and try out a couple of different paces to figure out what feels best for you. Toes To Bar - Manage your grip. Be sure to keep the rest of the work ahead of you in mind. Small sets and even singles can be faster because it doesn't require much effort to hop back up on the bar. Just manage your overall rest time and ensure to try and keep a consistent cadence.Wall Balls - I think most should be able to push here. With only 40 reps, bigger sets will save you some time. 1-2 sets would be ideal but you can also be very efficient at 4 x 10 with very short breaks to allow the shoulders to recover. Power cleans - If you plan to get to the muscle ups, small sets or quick singles. Unless you have amazing grip strength and you have no need to touch and go big sets here. If you are planning on going for a good tie break and seeing what you can do for muscle ups, then GO FOR BROKE! HIt it hard and don't be afraid to hurt a little here. Ring Muscle Ups - CONGRATULATIONS! You earned some RING TIME! If you are a ninja, CRUSH IT! If you struggle. SMALL SETS and SINGLES with short rest will be much more effective. If you are a beast and get back to the rower, PULL HARD. Downsizing and moving into a retirement home can be a difficult and emotional process, but with proper planning and organization, it can also be a positive experience. Here are some tips to help make the transition as smooth as possible.  When it comes to finding the right retirement home, it's important to take the time to research and visit different options. Here are some steps to take to ensure you find the perfect place for your retirement:1.Determine your needs and wants. Before you start looking for a retirement home, make a list of what you need and want in a living situation. Consider the cost. Retirement homes can vary greatly in cost, so it's important to consider your budget and compare costs before making a decision. Consider things like location, amenities, and services offered. when touring, look at cleanliness, friendliness, and trust yourself.  2.Research different options. Look into different types of retirement homes, such as independent living communities, assisted living facilities, and continuing care retirement communities. Research the pros and cons of each option to help you make a decision.3.Visit potential homes. Once you've narrowed down your list of options, schedule tours of the homes that interest you. Take note of the overall atmosphere, the cleanliness of the facility, and the friendliness of the staff.4.Focus on the positives, better quality of life – leaving behind the yardwork, home maintenance, cooking, and cleaning. Adventure is waiting, you just need to take the first step.5.Get organized and pack with a purpose: Once you've sorted through your belongings, it's important to get organized before you move. Pack your items carefully, label boxes, and make sure you have a plan for where everything will go in your new home. Sort through your belongings: Go through your belongings room by room and decide what to keep, what to sell, and what to give away. Consider hiring a professional organizer to help with this process.6.Plan your move. Start planning the logistics of your move, such as hiring movers, packing, and arranging for transportation of your belongings.7.Start planning early: Don't wait until the last minute to start thinking about downsizing. Give yourself plenty of time to sort through your belongings and make decisions about what to keep and what to get rid of.  Donate or sell items you no longer need: Instead of throwing away items you no longer need, consider donating them to a local charity or selling them at a garage sale or online. This will help you declutter your home and also give back to your community.8.Get support: Downsizing and moving can be a lot to handle, so don't be afraid to ask for help. Consider hiring a moving company, or ask family and friends to assist with the process.9.Schedule a move-in date. Once you've chosen a retirement home, schedule a move-in date with the facility.10. Be prepared for the emotional aspect: Downsizing and moving into a retirement home can be an emotional process, especially when it comes to letting go of sentimental items. It's important to remember that the memories you have with the items will stay with you, even if the items themselves don't.11.Notify important parties. Notify your family, friends, and any relevant organizations or companies of your move, such as the post office, banks, and utility companies.12.Set up your new home. Do you think growing your subscription means spending tons of money on ads? It doesn't need to be that way! There are so many low and even no-cost ways to market and grow your subscription box business.   The bottom line? You can't rely on just one marketing channel or strategy. You need to build a multi-channel marketing plan, layering one type of marketing on top of another. Don't worry - building this plan doesn't have to be time-consuming or costly.  I'm sharing seven cost-effective ways to market your subscription box business. But I don't want you to try to implement all of them at the same time! If you're just getting started, choose one, get consistent with it and then layer on another. If you're already doing one or more of these, choose another one to add to your marketing plan.   Leverage social media.  These accounts are FREE.  Figure out where your ideal customer is and start there.  Have FUN with it. Get social - serve and engage with your audience.  Partner with micro-influencers in your space.  Offering affiliate commissions is super cost-effective - you don't pay them unless they sell something for you.  Influencer or affiliate marketing.  Very inexpensive.  Still a very effective way to reach your audience.  How will you get people onto your email list?  How will you market to them once they're on your list?  Email marketing.  Create valuable content to attract your ideal person.  Blogs, videos, eBooks, etc.  Content marketing. Word of mouth is so powerful!  Customer reviews. Where does your ideal customer go? Farmers Markets, expos, shopping events, etc.  In person events.  It's not about the stuff - it's about the people.  A strong community creates raving fans - the kind that market your subscription for you! Build an online community.  Take one of these ideas and build it into your routine. Get comfortable and consistent with it. Then layer in another strategy. Continue to grow your audience, reach more of the right people, and ultimately gain new subscribers.  You can't rely on one marketing channel or strategy. And you don't need to spend a lot of money on ads to market effectively. Investor Tax Credits and Tax Exclusions are important incentives to startup investors which help mitigate some of the risk with these investments. David and Paul review the use of state tax credits in those Southern states that offer them and how out-of-state investors monetize these credits. The South Carolina Angel Investor Tax Credit is reviewed in detail as an example of how these credits work and how they discount startup investments up to 35%. We touch on the Federal Sec. 1202 Capital Gains tax exclusion but deal with that more extensively in E12 on the Tax Benefits of Startup Investing.
