Creativity on Medium - May 31, 2025SOUL WINNING IS BACK! WHY EVANGELISM IS SO IMPORTANT! • The Todd Coconato Show To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give Website: www.PastorTodd.org God is doing something unique in this hour. Across the nation and around the world, He's raising up believers with a passion to win souls, reach the lost, and go into places that many others won't go. There is a fresh hunger to see people encounter Jesus Christ, and it's time for the Church to step boldly into the harvest field. This has been on Pastor Todd's heart for a long time. In many ways, it's a return to the very foundation of the ministry, reaching people outside the four walls of the church and bringing the hope of Jesus wherever people are. Today, Pastor Todd shares why evangelism is more important than ever and why he believes we're entering a season of unprecedented harvest. Joining us is special guest Philip Renner, who is actively reaching people in clubs, festivals, and other unlikely places with the Gospel. We'll discuss what God is doing, the importance of stepping out in faith, practical ways to share Christ, and why soul winning must once again become a priority for every believer. Don't miss this powerful conversation. The harvest is ready, and God is calling His people to go. Watch today's broadcast and be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to make a difference for the Kingdom of God.
What if the greatest evangelist in your church isn't the person on stage? In John 4, the Samaritan woman encounters Jesus at a well and everything changes. She wasn't a pastor, theologian, missionary, or Bible scholar. She had a complicated past, a broken reputation, and more questions than answers. Yet after one encounter with Jesus, she became one of the first people in Scripture to bring an entire city to Christ. This powerful message from Pastor Byron Ellis explores how evangelism is not about having all the answers. It's about sharing what Jesus has done in your life. The Samaritan woman teaches us that God loves using ordinary people with imperfect stories to reach others with the Gospel. If you've ever felt unqualified, ashamed, or afraid to talk about your faith, this sermon will encourage you to take your next step in sharing Jesus with the people around you. Your testimony may be the bridge God uses to change someone else's eternity. This message reminds us that one simple act of sharing Christ can have eternal impact, just like Andrew bringing Peter to Jesus changed history. Instead of focusing on rejection or fear, we should focus on the incredible potential of what God can do through one faithful witness.
As soon as a man lets his work become a matter of mere form or routine, it sinks into a performance in which the preacher is simply an actor. He is only acting a part, as he might in a play at the theatre, and not speaking from his inmost soul, as a man sent from God. I implore you to speak from your hearts or else don't speak at all.

Soul Winning & Discipleship - Pastor John Wilkerson - 2026 Servants' Conference - Thursday Morning, March 19, 2026 by First Baptist Church of Hammond
Today, Malachi Herbster continues his conversation with missionary Andrew Livingstone, turning from God's leading in his life to the pressing burden of reaching the lost. With clarity and compassion, Andrew speaks about the call to evangelize, even when it feels uncomfortable or intimidating.Drawing from Scripture, he reminds listeners that the Great Commission is not optional: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). He shares practical encouragement on overcoming fear, trusting the Spirit's help, and remembering that “we are labourers together with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9). Brother Andrew also emphasizes the power of a personal salvation testimony, echoing the heart of the man in John 9:25: “One thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.”Listeners will be challenged to pray intentionally for open doors, to recognize divine appointments, and to speak boldly when the Lord provides opportunity—trusting the promise that “my word… shall not return unto me void” (Isaiah 55:11). This episode is a stirring reminder that evangelism is both our responsibility and our privilege, and that God delights to use willing vessels to accomplish His saving work.

Soul winning is a Biblical term. It is often heard in religious circles related to winning someone's soul eternally for Jesus (for example, accept Jesus, say the sinner’s prayer, be baptized, etc.). In this sermon, Brother Luke uses the account of Zacchaeus to show that the salvation in soul winning is not eternal, but a deliverance …
Dedicated people don't live for themselves they live beyond themselves. In this message, we see more ways of being dedicated to God, as well as the blessedness of dedication.

The core message they preach is the gospel of Jesus Christ, seeking to address the challenges facing Brazilian youth like depression, anxiety, and family problems. Despite facing opposition and threats on some campuses, the team remains committed to boldly sharing the gospel with university students across the country. The organization's name “Aviva” means “revival” in English, and their vision is to expand these crusade and campus outreach efforts globally.
