What if the greatest evangelist in your church isn't the person on stage? In John 4, the Samaritan woman encounters Jesus at a well and everything changes. She wasn't a pastor, theologian, missionary, or Bible scholar. She had a complicated past, a broken reputation, and more questions than answers. Yet after one encounter with Jesus, she became one of the first people in Scripture to bring an entire city to Christ. This powerful message from Pastor Byron Ellis explores how evangelism is not about having all the answers. It's about sharing what Jesus has done in your life. The Samaritan woman teaches us that God loves using ordinary people with imperfect stories to reach others with the Gospel. If you've ever felt unqualified, ashamed, or afraid to talk about your faith, this sermon will encourage you to take your next step in sharing Jesus with the people around you. Your testimony may be the bridge God uses to change someone else's eternity. Matthew 5 says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” This message examines what righteousness means, why none of us can produce it on our own, and how Jesus calls us beyond the appearance of righteousness into a real pursuit of him. From spiritual poverty to repentance, the sermon points back to the cross as the place where self righteousness ends and true satisfaction begins. In this message from Matthew 15:29–16:4, Pastor Karl examines two very different groups of people who come to Jesus — and what their approach reveals about how we receive grace. The first group comes from the Decapolis, a Gentile region with no religious standing or covenant claim. They bring broken bodies, unspoken needs, and nothing to offer — and Jesus meets them with compassion, healing, and even provision they didn't know to ask for. The second group, the Pharisees and Sadducees, arrives with suspicion and a demand for proof — and Jesus refuses to perform for them. The contrast surfaces a powerful truth: Jesus has endless compassion for those who come to him needy, but no obligation to satisfy those who come feeling entitled. Unworthiness isn't a disqualification for grace — it's the prerequisite for it.Pastor Karl unpacks why the disciples hesitated to feed the 4,000 (it wasn't that they forgot what Jesus could do — it was that they questioned who he'd do it for), what it really means to "fall from grace," and why the cross is the only reliable lens through which to interpret God's love. When we bring our "not enough" to Jesus, we find that inadequacy is exactly the raw material he's looking for.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm
If it feels weird to talk about God out loud, you're not alone. This Sunday we'll sit with Jesus' invitation to share the good news with guest preacher, Justin Coleman, pastor of University UMC in Chapel Hill.
Franklin Graham's May 2026 visit to Belarus wasn't just an evangelistic crusade — it was a diplomatic mission for Donald Trump. Lukashenko, Europe's last dictator and Putin's key ally in the northern invasion of Ukraine, used Graham's visit to send "warm greetings to President Trump." That's not gospel. That's Christian nationalism with a passport. Tihomir Kukolja, former Executive Director of the Forum for Leadership and Reconciliation, was born in the former Yugoslavia, where Billy Graham preached to 10,000 people in a steady rain in 1967 — braving communist power to reach ordinary people with nothing to offer him politically. He watched that legacy get dismantled in real time when Franklin Graham sat across from Lukashenko and called it an honor. In this conversation, Tihomir — a Croatian theologian, reconciliation leader, and eyewitness to both legacies — walks through exactly what happened in Minsk, what it reveals about Franklin Graham's double gospel, and why a message that poses no threat to authoritarian power is not the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the Belarus dictator story American evangelicals aren't talking about. It should be.

Every great love story relies on a thrilling conclusion, but the story of Ruth and Boaz gives us something much greater than a Hollywood ending—it reveals a cosmic promise. In this final installment of our four-part series, Pastor Derek Holmes walks us through the triumphant conclusion of Ruth chapter 4. Against all odds, and through the quiet, sovereign providence of God, Boaz and Ruth overcome every legal and cultural obstacle standing in their way to finally be united in marriage. But the story doesn't end at the wedding altar. God blesses them with a son named Obed, setting off a divine chain reaction. Obed would become the grandfather of King David, placing this remarkable couple directly into the earthly lineage of Jesus Christ. Join us as we discover how Boaz’s fierce, protective love for Ruth isn't just ancient history—it is a vivid mirror showing us just how relentless, complete, and life-altering Christ’s redeeming love is for each of us today. No matter how broken your beginning looks, God is crafting a happily ever after for us all.

Jesus leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one. In this powerful sermon on Luke 15, guest speaker Vance Pitman unpacks the heart of Jesus for the lost, reminding us that every number in the global population represents a soul God loves. Discover why every person on earth is either lost or found, what it really means to be spiritually lost, and how Jesus relentlessly pursues those far from God. You'll see how His love moves Him to draw near to sinners, welcome them as friends, and rejoice when people turn back to Him in faith. This message will challenge believers to lay down comfort and religious activity and recover Christ's mission to seek and to save the lost where we live, work, and play. In a world full of transactional relationships, what does true, redeeming love actually look like? In this episode, Pastor Derek Holmes delivers the third installment of our four-part series through the book of Ruth. Moving into one of the most pivotal moments of the story, we dive deep into the profound encounter between Ruth and Boaz at the threshing floor—a moment that is so much more than a ancient romance. Pastor Derek investigates how Boaz and Ruth’s unfolding love story serves as a breathtaking metaphorical depiction of the Gospel. Through Boaz’s fierce protection, intentional provision, and sacrificial love for Ruth, we get a tangible, beautiful picture of how Christ cares for us and desires to save and redeem us from our brokenness. But redemption isn't just about the Redeemer; it's also about our response. We look at Ruth’s bold, willing request to be taken under Boaz’s wing, uncovering what it teaches us about the posture of our own hearts. To experience the fullness of Christ’s saving grace, we must come to Him with that same willingness and vulnerability. Whether you feel hidden, broken, or undeserving of love, this episode is a powerful reminder that you have a Kinsman-Redeemer who has already declared His love for you. Key Takeaways From This Episode: - The Gospel in the Old Testament: How the historical accounts of Ruth and Boaz mirror Christ’s ultimate redemptive mission. - The Character of the Redeemer: Understanding Christ’s heart for you through Boaz’s protection and provision. - The Posture of Faith: What Ruth’s surrender teaches us about how we must approach Jesus for salvation.

In this concluding message of Matthew 13, Pastor Karl unpacks the final three parables of Jesus — the Hidden Treasure, the Pearl of Great Price, and the Net — and challenges the common interpretations most of us have grown up hearing.Rather than reading these parables through a modern American lens, Pastor Karl takes us back into a first-century Jewish mindset to uncover what Jesus was really communicating. The treasure hidden in the field isn't something we purchase with our devotion — it's a picture of Jesus himself, who in joy gave everything to redeem his chosen people. The pearl of great price wasn't a treasure to the Jews at all, which is exactly the point: Jesus was revealing the shocking mystery that Gentiles — the unclean, the outsiders — would be included in the kingdom of God. And the parable of the net reminds us that not all roads lead to heaven, and that a day of separation is coming.Pastor Karl also draws a striking connection to the book of Ruth, showing how Boaz purchasing the field to gain Ruth as his bride foreshadowed what Jesus would do for his people — buying the field to possess the treasure within it.The message closes with one of the hardest passages for any pastor to preach at his own church: Jesus returning to his hometown, only to be met with familiarity and low expectation. The takeaway is pointed — low expectation limits reception. The messenger can be overlooked, but the message cannot: God chose to treasure you, not because of anything you offered, but because of the price his Son was willing to pay.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

What if the thing you've already called “over”… isn't?In this Resurrection Sunday message from Matthew 28:1–10, Pastor Jason Barnett explores one of the greatest paradoxes of the Christian faith: the tomb that was meant to silence Jesus became the place of His greatest victory. The women came expecting death. If you've ever felt stuck, defeated, or like something in your life is beyond hope, this message is for you.Because if Jesus lives…then death doesn't win, your past doesn't define you,and your story isn't over.
In The Crown After the Cross, Caleb Cole shares a powerful Easter message from Hebrews 2 about the choices Jesus made for humanity. Before He wore the crown of glory, He chose humility, suffering, and the cross. What happens when the reality of the resurrection confronts our doubt, questions, and uncertainty? Luke 24 tells the story of the empty tomb and the first responses to it: wonder, disbelief, and curiosity that ultimately lead to truth. This message explores how the resurrection of Jesus redeems our past, gives us power to live today, and secures our future. Whether you're exploring faith or ready to take your next step, this is a truth you can build your whole life on.

This episode dives into the controversy surrounding Jaden Ivey's outspoken beliefs, asking whether his bold stance is misguided or a genuine stand for faith in today's culture. Drawing parallels to John the Baptist, the discussion explores what it means to speak truth publicly, the cost of doing so, and how society responds when convictions clash with mainstream values. Is this reckless behavior—or a call to repentance that people aren't ready to hear? Luke 3:7-20Galatians 1:10
“If God can do anything… why doesn't He?” That question isn't new. It was asked at the cross. As Jesus hung there, the crowd mocked Him with words they didn't fully understand: “He saved others, but He can't save Himself.” What looked like weakness was actually the greatest display of love the world has ever seen.In this episode of the Dirt Path Sermon Podcast, Pastor Jason Barnett walks through Matthew 27:32–44 and unpacks the paradox of the cross—how Jesus refusing to save Himself is exactly how He saved us.If you've ever wrestled with unanswered prayers, wondered where God is in your pain, or questioned why He doesn't step in when He could, this message is for you. What looked like weakness… was love refusing to give up on you.Send us Fan MailLinkoln shares his story on why he started coming to Ravenna Church of the Nazarene and shares why you should consider doing the same.Ravenna Church of the Nazarene530 Main Street, Ravenna, KY 40472Support the showThe Dirt Path Sermon Podcast is a place for real sermons that speak to real life. Have you ever looked at your life and wondered how the painful pieces could possibly fit together into something meaningful? Maybe you’ve walked through loss, disappointment, unanswered prayers, or seasons that felt confusing and heavy. In those moments, it can be difficult to see how anything good could come from the hardship. But what if God is doing something deeper in the middle of it all? This week on The Love Offering Podcast, I’m joined by author and speaker Kirby Kelly to talk about her beautiful and honest new book, The Fabric of Hope. Kirby shares how God has been faithfully stitching together the threads of her own story—through unexpected love, deep grief after the sudden loss of her mom, seasons of doubt, family struggles, and betrayal. And through it all, she’s discovered something powerful: God wastes nothing. Even the painful pieces of our lives can become part of a larger tapestry of redemption. In our conversation, we talked about how God can bring sweetness from bitter seasons, purpose from pain, and hope right in the middle of life’s interruptions. Sometimes the very places we wish we could erase are the places where God reveals His presence most clearly. Kirby reminds us that when we pause and look back over our lives, we often see a surprising pattern: some of our deepest moments with God happen in seasons we never would have chosen. In this episode, you’ll discover: How God weaves meaning into the painful seasons of our lives• Why hardship and hope often exist side by side• How to reflect on your own story and see God’s faithfulness more clearly• Why God’s interruptions may actually be divine invitations Friend, if you are in a season that feels confusing, heavy, or unfinished, I pray this conversation reminds you that God is still working. He is the thread that holds every piece together. And one day, you may look back and see that what once felt like a torn place in your story became one of the most beautiful parts of the fabric.
Most of the time when we talk Gospel, we only talk about how we accepted Jesus, and then we need to preach about the world being sinners who need Jesus. It is a part of it, but then for us to tell others about the Gospel is living our lives as the evidence of the change in us.Bible Verses: Ephesians1:3-10; Phillipians 1;2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:22-24; 1 John 1:5-10----------------------------------------------------------------Top 100 list at Feedspot: https://podcast.feedspot.com/christian_men_podcasts/E: warriorwithin.christianmanhood@gmail.com|TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@pastorwarriorwithinMerch Store: https://wwcm-podcast.printify.me/productsPayPal DONATIONS: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=KC3DTP8HM7DAEYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WarriorWithinMinistriesStudios-----------------------------------------------------Affiliated with Talitha Coffee: https://talitha.com/pastordido-----------------------------------------------------Track: Jim Yosef - Samurai [NCS Release] Music provided by NoCopyrightSounds.Watch:Free Download / Stream:http://NCS.io/Samurai
"Jesus died for my sins." If that is the full gospel, then how do we make sense of the gospel Jesus preached in Mark 1: the Kingdom of God is at hand? And how does Jesus preach the gospel before dying on the cross? And what about the resurrection? And the Old Testament?
Send a textIn this sermon, The Tale of Two Saviors, we explore one of the most shocking moments in the Passion story recorded in Matthew 27:15–26—when the crowd was given a choice between Jesus Barabbas and Jesus the Messiah. At first glance, the decision seems unbelievable. Why would anyone choose a violent insurrectionist over the innocent Son of God?But when we look closer at the historical context, the choice becomes more understandable—and more uncomfortable. Barabbas represented the kind of savior people expected: someone who would fight for their nation, overthrow their enemies, and restore their power. Jesus offered something very different: the way of the cross, forgiveness, and sacrificial love.In this message from our Lent series, Paradox, we wrestle with a difficult question that still confronts us today: Which Savior are we actually following? This episode invites listeners to reflect on the difference between a faith built on power and one shaped by the cross, and to rediscover the hope found in the Savior who carried the cross meant for us.Linkoln shares his story on why he started coming to Ravenna Church of the Nazarene and shares why you should consider doing the same.Ravenna Church of the Nazarene530 Main Street, Ravenna, KY 40472Support the showThe Dirt Path Sermon Podcast is a place for real sermons that speak to real life. But heaven sees something very different. In this message from our Lent series Paradox, Pastor Jason explores one of the most powerful moments in the story of Jesus-- a moment where what looks like weakness reveals the true strength of God.If you have ever felt overlooked, vulnerable, wounded, or like you have to prove your strength just to survive, this message is for you.The cross shows us a different kind of power--one rooted not in control, intimidation, or dominance, but in love, faithfulness, and surrender. Because what the world called humiliation...heaven called a coronation.Linkoln shares his story on why he started coming to Ravenna Church of the Nazarene and shares why you should consider doing the same.Ravenna Church of the Nazarene530 Main Street, Ravenna, KY 40472Support the showThe Dirt Path Sermon Podcast is a place for real sermons that speak to real life. Send a textWe all know Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. But what if betrayal looks like more than one thing? In this first message of the Paradox Lent series, Pastor Jason Barnett explores the moment in Luke 22 where affection becomes betrayal, loyalty turns to confusion, and violence is mistaken for faithfulness. As Jesus is arrested in the garden, every person surrounding Him looks close — yet only one heart is truly aligned with God.This message invites us to slow down and examine our own hearts during Lent. Are we following Jesus with true surrender, or just going through familiar spiritual motions? Through the stories of Judas, Peter, and the crowd, we discover how easy it is to look faithful on the outside while drifting inwardly — and how Jesus still meets us with mercy and healing.Linkoln shares his story on why he started coming to Ravenna Church of the Nazarene and shares why you should consider doing the same.Ravenna Church of the Nazarene530 Main Street, Ravenna, KY 40472Support the showThe Dirt Path Sermon Podcast is a place for real sermons that speak to real life.
