That wasn't his first adventure. He'd previously spent 3.5 years travelling from The Netherlands to New Zealand by electric car. Geen geld, een elektrische auto en meer dan 16.000 km van huis verwijderd. Sinds 2016 is Wiebe Wakker onderweg naar Sydney! In november stond hij in Queensland, maar waar is hij nu? Marnix Westhuis belde met Wiebe Wakker voor een nieuwe update! Voor de één een droom, voor de ander een nachtmerrie. Zonder planning van huis weg gaan. Op 15 maart 2016 is hij vanuit Houten vertrokken met een volledig elektrische auto. De missie? Om in Sydney in Australië te eindigen. Met zijn project PlugMeIn heeft hij een website waar mensen zich kunnen aanmelden met een slaapplek, maaltijd of oplaadpunt voor Wiebe. Dit bepaalt overigens ook de route. Ondertussen is het november dat wij voor het laatst spraken met Wiebe. Hij zat toen met zijn slippers in Queensland, Australië. Het is doel om in maart in Sydney te staan. Waar is Wiebe nu?
