Back to back 3-0 Losses followed up by a sad 1-1 Home Draw. A terrible run for Atlanta United. Can they turn the ship on the road vs a poor Chicago Fire. Will Deila drop Abram for good and give us a chance? We talk about it all.

The back line is still the issue and by that we mean Abram. The mistakes we are making are different than the era under Pineda, and the outcomes seem like they must change for the better. We talk about it all, but we are frustrated with the current results even if they are unlucky.

A required comeback from Atlanta United FC to get the win 4-3 over NYCFC. We can score some goals, but the individual mistakes were really poor. Will Ronnie Deila make a change for Williams who had a shambolic game? Will we see Cobb or Edwards as a centerback, we hope so vs Dallas FC.  We talked about it all.

Atlanta United FC are starting off with poor results 1-2-2, but the team is attacking and dangerous. The stats are looking okay and when we give up goals, people are making mistakes vs the system and tactics being the root cause. The ATL ON FIRE crew is still not worried, and feels we are going to go on a run with stronger results. Time will tell.

Atlanta United FC agree to terms that bring back Miguel Almrion from Newcastle United. Deal still lingers with Emmanuel Latte Lath who was injured in his last game with Middlesbrough F.C. We are excited about 2025, but not having all our DPs and starters ready for game one is disappointing. We'll talk about it all.

After a great interview with Brannon Boegner in part 1 at Wolf Mountain Vineyard and Winery, Dave and Mike discuss MLS Cup Playoffs leading up to the Cup Final on December 9th. Dave had picked the Columbus Crew to win it all over a month ago. Mike predicted LAFC would hold the cup. The Crew has home field advantage, but it should be an entertaining game. Will Thiago Almada be with Atlanta United in 2024. The future seems as unclear as ever for fans of Atlanta United FC.

It was sadley very predictable. We went into game three on the road vs Columbus and dropped 3 goals before we knew what hit us. Gonzalo Pineda did not make the right adjustments to prevent goals, nor has he all season. Our excitment about a 4-2 win at home was short lived.  2024 will surley see wide sweeping roster exits which makes stability difficult. You want to be optimistic, but it's not adding between bad coaching and new players TBD.

Atlanta United traveled to Columbus and lost 2-0. It was going to be hard without Almada, but the team really showed no signs of life or a plan to compete.  We return for match 2 tomorrow night at home. Almada will be back and our approach must be different. It could be the last game of the season. We talk some EPL, La Liga, and all the big Euro action.

Atlanta United FC finished the regular season 6th in the Eastern Conference, hanging onto a draw (2-2) vs FC Cincinnati. Was going for a win worth the risk? Atlanta United FC crashed out of the Leagues Cup with a terrible loss vs Miami's Mess and a 1-1 PK Loss vs Cruz Azul.  Atlanta United is off for 3 weeks, and signs several players, Silva, Saba, Thiare at the end of the trade window. USWNT vs Sweden after getting out of the group.

Atlanta United FC Show lack of stability and drop 2 straight, including a home game against Orlando City.  Pineda has yet to show any ideas up front outside of Miguel Berry.  The rumors swirl in the transfer window. Atlanta United FC have a great performance vs Philadelphia Union at home 2-0. Travel to Montreal and get another three points winning 1-0.  Silly season just got plain silly with Franco Ibarra being traded overnight to stay roster compliant. Regardless of the cold hard decisions that need to be made, it's clear our FO communications are simply awful.  USMNT beat Canada in Gold Cup Quarterfinal but had to be done in PKs. Atlanta United FC draw at home vs a struggling NYCFC. Yes, Atlanta was missing starters due to the International call ups, but Pineda still can't adjust to get the necessary wins at home and his lack of ideas starts with Miguel Berry who continually gets minutes up front. Tyler Wolff get's his goal to minutes ratio up but missed a few sitters. Regardless, Wolff gets into the right positions and gives himself a chance, go Tyler go!  The home game against the Red Bulls was down right horrific and should have fans worried for the mid-table position we could see in the fall.

Atlanta United draw 3-3 vs New England at home, then travel to LAFC to get a 0-0 draw, and return home to beat DC United 3-1.  We are halfway through the MLS season, and we'll talk about it all. Of course, that includes the GOAT Messi coming to MLS, set to Join Inter Miami in the summer.  The stadiums will be packed, and Leo might be taking this league from 4.0 to 5.0 very quickly. Vamos!

Atlanta United only managed to take 1 point vs Orlando City on the road with a 1-1 draw. GG, Almada, Miles got the start and we had healthy players, but couldn't get a win.  We'll talk about it all and Dave has done more research. How about we talk MLS refs and VAR, sure, we'll do it. We'll also get into promotion and relegation in the EPL and perhaps some USMNT / US Soccer happenings.

Atlanta United lost another opportunity to pick up a full three points. Having played nearly half the game with a man advantage, Gonzalo Pineda was unable to produce a critical road win that was on a plate for the taking.  Dave seems to have a moment of clarity, looking back at his notes this season. Mike is still in shock Miguel Berry got the start. MLS refs need to get a grip. Giving out Red Cards needs some common sense, and it was disappointing to see these teams playing a man down for no considerable reason.

Atlanta United FC - 3 Game Recap - Miami Loss (2-1), Charlotte Loss (1-3) and Colorado Win (4-0) The losing streak ends against Colorado 4-0, but we also will recap the Miami Loss where Josef Martinez get's a brace and a loss to Charlotte FC's where Justin Miram scores a brace.  While the team played with intensity, the same issues still seem to be lurking.  Luis Araujo is headed back to Brazil. If Almada also goes in the summer, we'll have 2 DP slots open. Bocanegra better have some options lined up. 

Tennessee soccer teams beat up on Atlanta United FC. A shocking loss to Memphis FC at Kennesaw in the US Open Cup, it was painful and embarrassing.  Three days later, Atlanta couldn't win without Giorgos Giakoumakis, losing 3-1 on the road.  Pineda might have this team in third place in the Eastern Conference, but this team is not performing well or to its full potential. 

A perfect day in Atlanta, the roof was open at the Benz.  We took all three points, but the game was hardly a pretty sight.  Giorgos Giakoumakisgets gets his 5th straight goal in 5 games, and maybe 5 yellow cards but who's counting those?  He's on fire, and hopefully not injured. The Greek is for real.  However; the rest of the team's performance was lacking. Pineda continues to fly his airplanes. We'll talk about it all.

A win over New Yew York Red Bulls 1-0 at home in #ATLUTD's first regular season victory over NYRB.  A 1-1 draw vs NYCFC on the road, and another 2-2 draw vs Toronto FC that felt like a loss as we gave up a goal in the final minute of extra time. Giorgos Giakoumakis gets a muscle injury and comes out of the game. He's had 4 starts and 4 goals, maybe 4 yellow cards too, the the X factor we need up front.
