One of the great young prospects in world football is joining Atlanta United to continue the club's tradition of roping in top young talent. But, is the move a wise one given the club's instability and the lack of success Pity Martinez experienced after a similar move? I discuss the pros and cons and make the case for Atlanta having done the right thing in acquiring a top drawer talent. Travis, Nate and Stephen finally have some good news to talk about on the latest You Aint Lion episode. It's been a joyous past week for FC Cincinnati and its supporters and it seems to only be getting better. The guys discuss the newest member of the club, Brenner from Sao Paolo in the Brazilian Serie A. What could the club do next to possibly follow up the 3rd largest transfer in MLS history? Well, the confirmed interest in former Atlanta United midfielder Pity Martinez is certainly a nice follow up. Each YAL member has their own thoughts on Pity and now the newest rumored #10 in FCC's sights, former DC United midfielder Lucho Acosta. After the tidbit from Sam Stejskal in the interview episode, they take a look at what Frankie Amaya's future might be with the club and what that might mean for Pity and/or Lucho. Rants are a bit laid back this week because... well... optimism.

Luckly, we still love Atlanta United FC, and nobody is getting off the bus, even if Glass takes a quick joy ride.  It's hard to compute in the year of Covid-19 what the hell is going on, and selling our big players for record breaking MLS transfer fees is exciting, yet sad, but it's no substitute for good old fashion winning.  Barco stands alone as our energizer bunny, but we've got to get a coach who's packaged and aligned with our next DP signing.
