Pass game vs run game. The defense is almost whole again, what will that mean for Mike MacDonald's defensive plans? :30- MIKE HOLMGREN makes his Friday visit to give us his thoughts on the Seahawks ahead of Sunday night football. Headlines and 12th man news with GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) How realistic is the idea that Boye Mafe will get traded? Run game, run defense and more gam-planning for the Commanders. :30- We had a visit from a ghost during the show yesterday and it seems that Bucky is not taking this seriously. :35- Oh crap! It's Chuck's fact or fiction pick! :45- Did the Seahawks pull off the right moves during the offseason and is it time to give full credit to Schneider for moving on from DK? Happy Halloween! We decided to dress down to celebrate the holiday as a show and most of completed the task as asked… one of us decided to complicate things. The Seahawks offensive line has long been an issue, but they've quietly been performing well and it wasn't just one thing that caused the change. Adding Klint Kubiak's system and Grey Zabel helped and so did a QB that doesn't hold onto the ball too long in Sam Darnold. :30- There's an interesting hiring trend going on in major league baseball… what's with all the first-time managers? :45- The Seahawks face the Commanders on Sunday and it's time for our No Cliché Keys to a Seahawks victory! Headlines and Thursday Therapy with SOFTY! Is Softy over what happened with the Mariners and is he watching the World Series? We give him some time to let it all out! The Huskies are on bye, so we get Softy's thoughts where the Dawgs are at with just 4 games left on the schedule. Does he think the Dawgs have a chance to get into the CFP? What did Toronto Blue Jays fans do to make Oregon fans look good?!?!? :30- The Toronto Blue Jays took a 3-2 lead in the World Series after a second-straight win last night. - Mother Nature is going to ruin Halloween again, isn't she? Get ready for another Atmospheric River kids! Injury updates for the Hawks and Commanders: yes, we are still a few days out from Sunday Night Football, but our excitement over seeing the Hawks secondary back together has taken a hit as Julian Love might not be back after all. We can't feel too sorry for ourselves though, the Commanders are playing on short rest, and they're more beat up than the Seahawks. They did get some good news though as it looks like Jayden Daniels will play. :30- College Football is enjoying another successful season with one problem- another rogue wave moving through the new CFB world is causing some issues! College coaches are getting fired and paid millions not to work. Donors are using the power of their wallets to have a say in who is and isn't coaching their team and this can't possibly be sustainable. :45- It's Halloween Eve-Eve and who doesn't love a scary movie on Halloween weekend? We are going Trade or Treating with the Seahawks as the NFL trade deadline approaches. Will John Schneider and the Seahawks stand pat and do nothing? Doubtful! So let's take a look at what moves the Hawks GM could pull off. Riq Woolen seems to be on the outside looking in, so does it make sense to move him and what could you get for him? Could the Seahawks make a move for Myles Garrett? :30- AL KINISKY (KAN color analyst) The Kraken managed quite the comeback last night, but fell short in OT; how did they feel about earning that point? Brandon Montour's return was a big one. Who else might be returning to the lineup for Saturday? :45- We close out the humpday show with one last thing! CAM CLEELAND (Learfield Washington color analyst) joins the show despite the Husky bye week. How is he feeling about the Dawgs with 4 games left on the schedule? How does Cam feel about the current state of College football and head coaches? :30- Sadly, the day has come for the final ABCs of the 2026 Mariners season. - Y is for Year-in-Review: No one should feel satisfied with the 2025 Mariners, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a successful season, just like Nathan Bishop said. - Z is for zzzzzzs as we get ready to hibernate for winter and await the offseason moves and gear up for 2026. :45- The Seahawks secondary will be reunited for the first time since the season started and it feels so good! Headlines and 12th Man news with GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) The Seahawks face the Washington Commanders on Sunday night; could this be the last time we see Bobby Wagner going against the Hawks? :30- We are doubling up on fact or fiction with some odds on Candy favorites and an actual Fact or Fiction pick and Ashley loves a home underdog! :45- It's time to get Reckless at Breakfast! The Mariners payroll already has $130-$135 million committed to their roster. The payroll-friendly zone, where they want to start the offseason, so that gives us about $30-$35 million to work with, so what are priorities? Josh Naylor should take up about $20 million, what about Polanco? Between those two, that could eat up the $30 ish million. Now, if it's not Naylor and Polanco, then who? The Blue Jays rallied to take Game 4 of the World Series and tie things up, just a day after losing to the Dodgers in 18-innings. Were the Dodger feeling the effects of the 18-innings more? If anybody had an excuse to be a little less than perfect, it was Shohei, pitching after being on base 9 times the day before. It seemed like the Dodgers were built to take this series in 4 or 5 games, but now we will have a game 6 and head back to Toronto. With the current state of Mariners hangover/depression, are we able to look at this season and recognize that this team doesn't suck and hasn't sucked? These aren't the “same ol' Mariners.” :30- College football is once again a little out-of-control and this time, it's all about the coaches as firings and buyouts are costing a lot of money. Is this sustainable? We talked to Rick Neuheisel about it! :45- The Kraken managed an exciting come-from-behind point last night after falling into a 3-0 hole against the Canadiens. The 3rd period was all they needed to erase the deficit and send the game to OT. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

RICK NEUHEISEL (CBS Sports) makes his weekly visit to talk College Football. Is this new world of CFB coach firings sustainable? And if it's not, how does it get fixed? Coach has some strong thoughts! :30- The Ol Judge is here! - I'm not jealous of the Dodgers because they're World Champs, I'm jealous because they have Shohei. - After what we saw last night, the Commanders can't beat the Seahawks - There's no excuse for missing 3 of 5 penalty kicks in Major league soccer. :45- We close out Tuesday's show with one last thing! With the NFL trade deadline looming, does Gregg expect to see the Seahawks making some moves? :30- The NFL Trade Deadline is approaching and we expect John Schneider to make some moves, because that's what he does, so who could be on the block? :35- It's Fact or Fiction time! Chuck's got picks and has to make a decision, will he make the right one and will Dick Fain steal his other one this afternoon? :45- Is Shohei Ohtani the greatest baseball player ever? We didn't know if we were going to watch the World Series, but two-thirds of us are sure glad we watched last night's 18-inning classic between the Dodgers and Blue Jays. The other third is still really glad they haven't watched a second of it. Did you watch? :30- There was a lot to watch last night between the World Series, Sounders playoff game and MNF, which we used as a scouting opportunity for the Hawks next opponent. The Seahawks and Commanders face off in Sunday Night Football and this isn't the same Commanders team we saw last year. They're beat up and without their starting QB, and defensively, they have been struggling, so while this may have looked like an L in August, it is looking like a winnable game if the Seahawks can play it right. :45- It's Halloween week and we have a costume idea for the Sounders. It's time to talk College Football and the Huskies got a much-needed win over Illinois at home on Saturday. They're on bye next weekend and if they can win out, it's not out of the question to think that they could end up in the CFP. Meanwhile, Jedd Fisch bristled at the idea that he is looking elsewhere with the big program head coaching opportunities that are out there. He's earned the reputation, but we like seeing him scoff at the idea of leaving Montlake. Once again, college football is evolving and now coaches are getting fired and paid out by big donors when they aren't achieving the goal. Turns out our friend Dustin Nickerson is really funny! Before his shows at the Neptune, Dustin went to see his alma mater take on Illinois and the success at home continued as the Dawgs beat the Illini 42-25 on a rainy Saturday. Demond Williams, Jonah Coleman and Denzel Boston helped lead the Dawgs to their 6th win and hopes of a CFP appearance are still alive if the Dawgs can win out. :30- It wasn't an overwhelmingly exciting weekend in the NFL, but we still grab a cold turkey sandwich and check the scoreboard! :45- Coach Bucky is here, we haven't talked to him in awhile! - Who would Coach Bucky choose, Josh Naylor & Jorge Polanco or Kyle Schwarber for the same price? - We are now up to 4 major jobs available in college football: LSU, Penn State, UCLA & Florida.
