Today we take a look at Kyle Stowers and the possibility of a trade with the Marlins for their leffielder. He might not actually be available, but it's worth a look! :45- We're just 8 days away from NFL Training Camp, so let's check out the news and notes from around the league. - It's not exactly NFL news, but Greg McElroy thinks that Nick Saban may not be done with coaching after all. Nah. :45- Let's go to Japan! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Husky One Series: TONY CASTRICONE (UW PxP) helps us kick off our week of looking at the 2025 UW Football Team, one position group at a time. We begin with a look at the Wide receivers and running backs- Jonah Coleman, Giles Jackson, Denzel Boston and more. :30- It's trade Deadlines Month Day (again…)! We already discussed the D Backs rumors, but another one has popped up! It appears that a lot of teams have been inquiring about Louis Robert Jr from the White Sox and one of them is the Mariners. How would a trade look and what hurdles would we have to clear? He's owed about $7 million for the rest of the season. Do you even want him on the roster or in the clubhouse? By all accounts, he is unmotivated and only relies on his natural talents. Is he any good? Will he actually help the team? Can he get back to the 2023 version of himself? What would a trade for him actually cost you? :45- We wrap up the show with one last thing! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It's Green Jacket time! Before we draft our home run derby participants, we have some hardware to hand out and has this ever happened before? :30- ABCs of the Mariners - H is for homers: Cal Raleigh has hit 38 of them in the first half of the season- an absolutely historic 1st half. - I is for interchangeable parts: Jurrangelo Cjintje can throw with both arms REALLY well and he was THE story to come out of the Futures game. - J is for Jewel and by all accounts, we got the crown jewel of the draft in Cade Anderson. :45- Word on the street is that the D Backs are selling and that opens up a world of possibilities! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Headlines and a special edition of COACH BUCKY! It's Home Run Derby day and Coach Bucky has some serious home run derby experience, so what advice does he have for Cal Raleigh? :30- Julio's incredible weekend. Julio pulled out of the All-star game on Friday, choosing to take the days off and rest and it may have been the best decision for him as he had his best three games of the season so far. Did social media and negative Mariners fans play a part in his decision or did he just do it for himself? :45- We want to send you to Japan to celebrate Ichiro's induction into the MLB Hall of Fame. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Baseball man… It's a tale of two series. We get swept in New York and talked on Friday about how we just didn't want to get swept in Detroit as well, facing the best team in baseball and instead, we did the sweeping! The Mariners offense put up 35 runs in the Motor City and put on a show for three straight games, to head into the all-star break on a high note and Julio shined the brightest batting .500 for the series with 3 home runs. :30- Mariners Morning After The Mariners shined in Detroit and were able to get back what they lost in New York. Yesterday's game was the Mariners season in a nutshell- leaving runners on base, gifting runs on errors, solo home runs and more. :45- The MLB Draft began on Sunday and the Mariners were given a gift with the 3rd pick- a choice between Cade Anderson and Ethan Holliday. They went with Anderson- the LSU star with an extremely high ceiling. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
This is the place to catch up on the best moments of Friday's show in one fell swoop! - Mariners crushing loss - The tipping controversy - ABCs of the Mariners - Happy Trade Deadline Month Day! - Bucky's X's and O's: pitch-tipping, sign-stealing and flat out cheating.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Bucky's X's and O's- the big story from last night has become tipping pitches. Andres Munoz was tipping his pitches and the Yankees were very obviously picking up on it and yes, it's legal. So what's the difference between tipping pitches, sign-stealing and straight up cheating? We discuss. :30- The Mariners are in Detroit to close out the 1st half of the season before the all-star break. How are we feeling about this team being 3 games over .500 heading into the break, especially after last night? :45- We close out the show and the week with Booze News.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We cover the top 8 sports stories of the day in the OCHO 1. Woo takes a no-hitter into the 8th 2. Mariners blow a 5-run lead 3. How do they bounce back from this? 4. It's All-star weekend! 5. The MLB Draft is Friday 6. Wimpleton! 7. 12 Days til Seahawks Training Camp 8. Sun vs Storm tonight :30- It's Trade Deadline Month Day and Harry Ford's name is being thrown around a lot according to Jim Bowden. :45- Who would we like to see the Mariners draft with the 3rd pick on Sunday? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Headlines and Oh no! Now last night's loss sucks even more… We have proof that Munoz was, in fact, tipping pitches. How were no adjustments made? The Yankees couldn't have made it more obvious that they knew what Munoz was throwing and Cal knew it and talked to Munoz, but it continued. :30- ABCs of the Mariners - F is for Fielding- does Cal deserve some criticism for missing the tag at home? - G is for Goldsmith- you have to be able to mention a no-hitter during a broadcast, it's part of the job. :45- We've got 12 days til Seahawks Training Camp- has the offensive line improved? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Mariners blow a 5-0 lead in New York and get swept by the Yankees in feels like the most crushing loss of the season. We disagree that the loss was “embarrassing” or “pathetic,” it just straight up sucked. It seemed like we had everything going in our favor, 5 runs on the board, Woo with a no-hitter into the 8th inning and then all of the things that should have been dependable weren't. :30- Mariners Morning After The Yankees overcome a 5-run deficit to walk it off in the 10th and sweep the M's. Was Andres Munoz tipping his pitches? : 45- ICYMI: Scott Hunter joined us on Monday ahead of this weekend's draft. Does he feel pressure to nail this draft having the 3rd overall pick? Who might the M's be looking at at 3rd? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We've got all the best moments of Thursday's show in one neat little package just for you! - It's Trade Deadline Month Day! Let's look at Ryan O'Hearn and the possibilities of a trade with the Orioles. - Oregon State Head Baseball Coach, Mitch Canham joins the show- could Aiva Arquette be a Mariner and how pumped would Coach be? - Everyone loves to Beat Bucky! - Is it ever too early to talk Fantasy Football? No way!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
MITCH CANHAM (Oregon State Head Baseball Coach) joins the show ahead of the MLB Draft to give us his thoughts on the draft from a coach's perspective and some insight on the Beaver player's that could be getting drafted. Aiva Arquette could potentially be a Mariner with the 3rd pick, so what kind of player would we be getting? How pumped would Mitch be to see Arquette in a Mariners uniform? We get Mitch's thoughts on the Mariners and the impact of sports in Seattle. :30- ABCs of the Mariners - C is for Cole Young who got his first major league home run last night- how does Bucky feel about the rookie so far? - D is for DJ LeMahieu who was DFA'd by the Yankees- do we have any interest in him as a Mariner? - E is for egregious- was it egregious for Devers to not show up to infield drills when Will Clark took the time to come help :45- Caitlin Clark is flat out having a rough year… See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Headlines and Yay! It's Trade Deadline Month Day! Today we are heading to Baltimore to analyze the possibilities of the Mariners trading for Ryan O'Hearn, so what would be standing in our way? Will he be available? Baltimore is having a massively disappointing season considering the expectations and they will wait until the last minute to decide if they're really out of it, then the flood gates may open. Is he a difference maker? Would it still be a 1st base platoon situation? Not sure if that's worth it. And how would he fare at T-Mobile Park? The move doesn't seem to qualify as a splash move and if we only get one of those then… What if we paired him with Felix Bautista? :30- MLB Allstar festivities begin this weekend with the Futures game on Saturday, the Draft on Sunday and the Home Run Derby on Monday. Then on Tuesday, there's an extra element of excitement for the All-star game- they will be using the Challenge system. :45- The 2025 Seahawks aren't getting a lot of love nationally. So, what will it take for this team to exceed expectations? It's all about the defense. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Mariners lose in the Bronx again and while the offense had a better performance, the pitching staff had another rough outing giving up 9 runs. And there's the oddities of baseball- the Red Sox get rid of their best offensive player and go on a 6-game win streak while the Dodgers are on a 6-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Mariners haven't lost any ground to the Astros in the AL West since they got swept by the Guardians, but it sure would be nice to get a W in NY today and gain a little bit of ground! :30- Mariners Morning After The M's lost to the Yankees 9-6 and had a couple bright offensive moments, but couldn't contain the Yankees defensively. :45- Deion Sanders spoke to the media yesterday and apparently the disparities of college football are concerning to him… now. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
All of the best moments of the show in one spot! You're welcome! - Jim Bowden on the MLB Draft and the Mariners at the deadline. - Angie Mentink live from NY - It's Trade Deadline month day and we are intrigued by Jim Bowden's idea of trading Harry Ford for Geno Suarez and Josh Naylor. - Enter the Dialogue Cabin at your own risk! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
- It's Trade Deadline Month Day!!! Today we take a look at 1st baseman Josh Naylor. Jim Bowden suggested the Mariners trading Harry Ford for Naylor and Suarez and now we are VERY intrigued. He's not just saying Suarez or Naylor; he's both of them and so we dive into the hurdles needed to be cleared to make this thing happen. If Justin and Jerry weren't interested in Naylor or Geno in the offseason, why should we believe they're interested now? We've had a hard time convincing M's ownership to add one salary at the trade deadline; how will we convince him to add two? The Mariners always seem to be opposed to “rentals” and now we are asking them to add two… :30- It's time to enter Dialogue Cabin… at your ownrisk! Ashley has terrible taste in movies, but the ones she has seen, she's seen a lot! It's time to test her knowledge on Billy Madison, will she pass or fail? :45- We close out the show with one last thing! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Yesterday was photo day and not just for us, but for the Seahawks receivers and Sam Darnold. What are our takeaways from the post-workout photo? :30- ANGIE MENTINK (ROOT Sports) joins the show after yesterday's 10-3 loss to the Yankees. Cal hit his 36th home run and continues to be must-watch tv. They're back at it today with hopefully no rain delays! :45- ABCs of the Mariners - A is for Angie- you don't pitch around Cal in a 10-1 game and we are glad they didn't! - B is for Babies- the MLB Draft is Sunday and Jim Bowden said the M's should take switch-hitting shortstop Eli Willits at #3. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Headlines and JIM BOWDEN (MLB Analyst & Insider-CBS Sports; The Athletic; MLB Network Radio; SiriusXM) Jim joins the show ahead of the MLB Draft to give us his thoughts on who the Mariners might be taking with the 3rd overall pick. MLB Trade Deadline is less than a month away- who will the M's add? If they have one move, what should it be? When will the action begin? We cover it all with Jim and get his thoughts on Cal Raleigh's 1st half of the season and seeing him in the home run derby. :30- ICYMI: yesterday, Jason Varitek joined the show to talk Cal Raleigh, switch-hitting and MVP thoughts because it's never too early, is it? :45- Time to get Reckless at Breakfast! Might this be just plain irresponsible at breakfast? Does the evidence really support the idea that QB's shouldn't run? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What is it with rain and modern-day starting pitchers? The rain came in mid-game last night and play stopped in the 5th inning and when it resumed, Logan wasn't the same. Is the routine so regimented these days that any disruption causes issues? :30- Mariners Morning After The Mariners got blown out by the Yankees in game 1 of the series, losing 10-3 after a couple of 8th inning runs for the M's including Cal's 36th home run. :45- Reunions… Chuck has one coming up and it could go one of two ways. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We've got the best moments of Tuesday's show all wrapped up in one spot for ya! Enjoy! - Why is everyone SO mad? - It's Trade Deadline Month Day! Is Marcell Ozuna a good fit? - It's always best to prepared, but are we? - The M's face the Yankees tonight, so we preview with Jeff Nelson. - Cal's favorite player growing up joins the show to give his thought's on the remarkable season Cal's having. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
JASON VARITEK (Boston Red Sox) joined the show to give us his thoughts on Cal Raleigh's season so far, the difficulties of switch-hitting, commanding a pitching staff and Yankee hate. :30- The Ol' Judge is in the building! - Cal Raleigh will win the home run derby… - Nick Emmanwori will be the talk of camp this year… - Is tennis more boring than ever? :45- We wrap up the show with one last thing! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
JEFF NELSON (YES Network) joins the show to give us his thoughts on the Mariners/Yankees series, including the struggles and strengths of both teams right now. If he had to pick an MVP right now, who would it be? :30- ABCs of the Mariners - Y is for Yankees and tonight is the first time ever that Cal Raleigh will step up to the plate against the Yankees and people will be debating which player is better. - Z is for zany- it's zany that there has never been a right-handed pitcher straight out of high school taken #1 in the MLB Draft, but it could happen this year with Seth Hernandez. :45- Patty's got a new chip! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
- It's happened! We flat out agree with the MollyWop guys and their conversation with Ian Furness about fan reactions to Julio in the allstar game. We never thought we'd see the day! It's Trade Deadline Month Day! Yesterday we talked about the possibility of the Braves trading Ronald Acuna Jr and while that seems unlikely, they may be willing to part with Marcell Ozuna. Is Ozuna the answer for the Mariners? Let's take a look. He's had some off-field issues and they're very serious, is that something the Mariners would want to deal with? On the other hand, the incident happened in 2021, has enough time passed? He's on the last year of his contract, so the Mariners would be on the hook for about $8 million and given the fact that he's a rental, you probably wouldn't have to give up that much for him… except, that this isn't a buyers' market. The demand for adding will be high this year with so many teams thinking they are still in the playoff hunt. He lacks versatility- he's only a DH and you aren't going to sit Cal on his days off, nor are you going to sit someone you bring in at the deadline. :30- Orel Hershiser brought up the idea that the Astros are playing so well, it's like they know what pitches are coming… could it be possible that the Astros would dare cheat again? :45- When this building starts shaking will we be ready? Some of us probably more than others… See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Julio Rodriguez was voted into the Allstar game by his peers, so why are people in Seattle so mad about it? If fans in other markets were upset he took a spot from one of their favorite players, that makes sense, but who gets mad one of their own players is on the team? Not to mention, his WAR makes him one of the top players in the AL, not just in the outfield and his defense earned him a spot on the team. Does it mean he's the superstar we hope he will be? No, not even close, but both can be true! :30- The Mariners are in New York starting tonight to face the Yankees, so we preview Aaron Judge and his fellow pin-striped teammates. The M's have the pitching advantage, but the bats will need to come through against the Yankees beleaguered pitching staff. :45- What's happening at Wimpleton? The Sinner was saved as Jannik Sinner advanced to the quarterfinals after Gregor Dimitrov went down with injury and a two-set lead. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Trade Deadline Month Day continues as we take a look at the possibility of the Mariners bringing in Ronald Acuna Jr. What would they need to give up and what are the deterring factors? - His injury history does give some cause for concern and attitude has been an issue as well. Is he worth the risk? - The cost for the Mariners would be great, think Juan Soto trade… is that something the Mariners should even consider and should they? :30- The Mariners blanked the Pirates and it's nice to see our pitching healthy and moving in the right direction. :45- We kept all our digits, so that must mean the 4th of July was a success! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Headlines and GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) joins the show with the latest 12th Man News as Seahawks training camp is just over two weeks away. - Excitement over Emmanwori and expectations for Kenneth Walker, we cover it all! :30- ABCs of the Mariners - W is for the Woo Star clan- Bryan Woo, Andres Munoz, Julio and Cal all named Allstars- that's 4 Mariners players named to the original roster and it's well-deserved! - X is for x-receiver- Mitch Garver has turned into a bit of an X-receiver: he's 6-2 in his last 8 starts with 3 shutouts. Clearly they like pitching to him. :45- The Mariners seem to be on a decent track heading into the Allstar break, but the real issue is those damn Houston Astros. They've gone 29-10 over their last 39 games and swept the Dodgers over the weekend, so even with our sweep, we didn't gain any ground. Damn you Astros! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We're back after a long weekend and ready to talk baseball! The Mariners swept the Pirates in 3 shutout games. The pitching staff showed out and thank goodness they did as the offense only managed 2 runs in 2 games. Turns out, if you don't give up any runs, you can win games. :30- Mariners Morning After. The Mariners got a 1-0 win on Sunday off a Randy Arozarena home run, but they had a chance to score more runs early on… if JP would have just chosen to slide or Randy would have told him to slide… :45- Coach Bucky is here and he had a great holiday weekend. - There are certain skills that Coach Bucky has, that very few people possess. - Cal Raleigh has 35 home runs, what is he capable of? - Was it an Elk dip kind of weekend?
