We are just 10 sleeps away from the Super Bowl and we can't underestimate this Patriots team. They've got a solid defense and the runner-up MVP and we haven't seen them without weather being a factor in a few weeks, not to mention they went up against 2 of the top 3 defenses in the league in the last two games and they found a way to win. Now, with the weather they've dealt with in the playoffs, we don't know that they're defense is as good as it's looked, but we do know that their offense is better than they've looked. Yeah, we probably like our quarterback more than other people around the country, but the narrative circulating in the national ranks yesterday was just plain lazy- no, Sam is not a liability for the Seahawks in the playoffs. 14 interceptions and 6 lost fumbles- that's all anyone focuses on, not the fact that his team is winning and Sam is doing his part to help them get there. He was only 20 years old when he came into the league and he went to a crappy team, so it's highly probably that he wasn't getting what he needed to grow as an NFL QB in NY and Carolina. :30- Bad news anti-analytics people: if you want King Felix to get into the Hall of Fame, you're going to have to support the analytics, because that's how he will get there. It was hard not to root for the Hoosiers who went from the worst team in college football to the best in just 2 years under Curt Cignetti.
