Der Baustoff für Gehirnzellen: Omega-3-Fettsäuren

Ratgeber

Ratgeber

Play Episode Listen Later Oct 20, 2025 5:31

The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds in Ann Arbor and Chris Fetters and Scott Eklund in Seattle - caught up postgame after Washington's 24-7 loss to Michigan, a game where anything that could have gone wrong for the Huskies did. And then when it seemed to go right, the nature of the brutal battle turned those tiny wins into Pyrrhic victories due to injuries. Three offensive players - starting left tackle Maximus McCree, starting tight end Quentin Moore, and backup tight end Kade Eldridge - all went down with first half injuries and Washington Head Coach Jedd Fisch said postgame that the prognosis for all three in terms of coming back to play soon wasn't good. In fact, McCree is now out for the year with a foot injury. The guys talked about how the injuries impacted a game that already had major injury concerns for both teams, how Michigan was able to pull the card UW used last year against the Wolverines by using second-half turnovers to go ahead and stay ahead on the scoreboard, the massive discrepancy in time of possession - especially in the fourth quarter - and more. They talked about the battle between Demond Williams and Bryce Underwood, how the battle in the trenches ultimately impacted the game for both young quarterbacks, and also Fisch taking responsibility for not getting his team prepared to finish the game the way they needed to. Washington has figured out a way to beat the teams they should. But what about the teams they could beat? That also is something the guys talked about in their final thoughts as the Huskies head back to Seattle licking their wounds and searching for answers as another tough opponent - Illinois - is set to travel to the Emerald City off a bye week. Oh, and Kim has a couple passes for Sunday's hoops exhibition game versus UNLV, so if you're interested send him an email: kimg@dawgman.com  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Was ist typisch Liechtensteinerisch? Gute Frage! (00:00-23:42) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison celebrating the first week one win for the Indianapolis Colts since 2013 by breaking it all down. They touch on the dynamic playmaking ability of Tyler Warren, Daniel Jones proving why Shane Steichen chose him to be the starter, and Lou Anarumo’s defense. (26:20-37:04) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins the program to recap a dominating win for IU over Kennesaw State on Saturday. Don comment on the strides made by Fernando Mendoza in game two, how Curt Cignetti hasn’t changed his approach, messaging, or anything because of his time with Nick Saban. Finally, Fisch provides his experience at the Rose Bowl last season. (37:04-45:57) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake asking Eddie some questions from things that happened around the NFL in week number one as to whether it is an overreaction or not. (45:57-1:08:38) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins Query & Company to recap the first win of the season for the Indianapolis Colts. Chappell accesses if we learned more about the Colts or Dolphins from that game, comments on how unpredictable the defense was because of Lou Anarumo’s creativity and agrees with Jake that defenses might have to start making Tyler Warren priority number one when looking at the Colts offense. (1:08:38-1:21:28) – Jake finally explains what he did over the weekend, besides attending another Oasis concert. He then asks Eddie if he’s weird about doing what he did, or if it was totally normal. (1:20:52-1:25:54) – The second hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie highlighting how discombobulated the Miami Dolphins looked yesterday. Plus, they wonder if it is the start of a tumultuous season for the Dolphins. (1:25:54-1:52:30) – Hour number three of Query & Company kicks off with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison highlighting the importance of Tyler Warren to the Colts offense and Daniel Jones playing exactly how Shane Steichen wanted him too. Plus, they highlight some standout performances by players that haven’t been talked about. (1:54:36-2:02:13) – Jake and Eddie welcome callers to the program to chat about yesterday’s win for the Indianapolis Colts and the successful start to year number two of the Curt Cignetti era. (2:03:02-2:07:05) – Today’s show closes out with JMV joining Jake from Twin Peaks in Greenwood to preview his show and briefly discuss yesterday’s win for the Colts!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A lot was going on Saturday night in Seattle, but for those die-hard Dawg fans who jonesing for some football? They were treated to a long scrimmage inside Husky Stadium, one that UW Head Coach Jedd Fisch lasted roughly 120 plays, as well as 20 or so special teams plays. The guys from Dawgman.com - Chris Fetters and Scott Eklund - were on hand to watch all of it from the beginning warmup to the practice-ending gassers, and they talked about their highlights during this 40-minute review podcast. The main talking point of the night was the apparent injury to right guard Geirean Hatchett. He was able to walk off the field with some help, and later came back putting weight on both feet without issue. Fisch told the assembled media after practice that they think there's nothing to be concerned about long-term for Geirean, so that's fantastic news. But that certainly put the guard rotation into a bit of a mix for the true freshmen - John Mills and Champ Taulealea - as well as redshirt freshman Paki Finau. Chris and Scott went through the players they thought stood out on the night on both sides of the ball, players that they both ended up agreeing on and also gave their thoughts on some of the linemen on both sides of the ball that had really good moments during a scrimmage that was, at times live to the ground but mostly 'thud' tempo. After a quick break they moved to the special teams, where fans got to see a lot of both Grady Gross kicking and Oregon transfer Luke Dunne punting. The guys also talked about their picks for who might end up being the main punt and kick returners for the Huskies based on what they saw. Chris rolled through the main (and very unofficial) offensive stats that he took during the scrimmage, and then the guys talked about the true frosh they expect will burn their redshirts because they've already shown that the coaches won't be able to keep them off the field.
