Highlighting the City's Finest from our Officers and Deputies to the layers of people that operate the well oiled machine and their commitment to the public!
I'm taking the chance to have James Dicks on my morning show and cross promote the Blue Line Gala on this podcast as well. If you've ever wanted to jump in and help but didn't know how, here's our moment!
We've had some amazing guests but to have an opportunity to try to feel what the other half of the partnership feels and in this case, the ultimate sacrifice made not only to a community but the more important one's in one's family
Had a chance to meet a Junior in High School who sat in on one of our foundation meetings, is on a bent position to share the positivity of law enforcement's role in our community today and for the generation in charge of our future. He's got a non profit and podcast highlighting the trust behind the badge
Glad to have my friend, great community leader and ambassador protector to all of Seminole County on to talk about meeting his people at Hot Rods for Heroes. That car show is dedicated to the flights taken where Veterans get the VIP treatment in Washington DC being escorted to their memorials of past. This is one way you can make those dreams happen
Paul is a decorated Orlando Police officer and currently Master Police/SWAT (over 13 years) for the agency. He happens to be a great friend of mine and the fact that he's got a heart for those contemplating ending the game of life, makes him even more of a hero in our books!
Philip Toppino runs WOFT where they train professionals, individuals and families to be sharp, alert and effective in different environments we face everyday. After seeing the facilities and getting the intel personally, I had to bring Phil on the show to talk about what a lot of families never think will happen & how to protect themselves should it. WOFT.COM
Glad to have the Sheriff of Seminole County on to talk about an event we call the Basket Brigade where we serve the community by jamming baskets full of Thanksgiving eats just in time for families in need!
What exactly is it like to work for an agency like this or a profession such as law enforcement and I'm glad to have SGT. HALL and Cor. McAlly on to discuss the job's requirements and benefits and inspire the next Gen of Officers
On with James Dicks who resides over a few of the boards that come together to raise funds for the officers and deputies thru an amazing event we call "The Blue Line Gala". There will be entertainment, great cuisine, officers and deputies enjoying the night and auction items that benefit the next time we step into one of these men and women's stories. Love love love this cause and hope you will, too!
Just days away from our Blue Line GALA! We're excited to do our part in this whole game of life and one of those is hosting this very podcast but now the tables get tuned on the host who's never been interviewed on our platform himself.
The President of our Orlando Police Foundation also sits on 3 other boards all planning on rocking Central Florida w/ an amazing night all to benefit those in law enforcement in and around our Cities! Glad we could catch up with Joe and talk past Gala wins and future Gala expectations. Plus, a few important updates on what's around the corner!
This foundation work never gets old or boring! I'm on again with James Dix who heads up these projects designed to drum up the most funds they can for those officers an d deputies that will need relief in the future if not now. Love the chance to inspire those listening to create and support their own!
We're back at it building another Hero Home and so grateful to have big hearts at this roundtable that can make mountains move in the name of love for those who protect and serve. He's a fascinating guy and can't wait to dig into how he does what he does!
We've been graced by James Dicks company in the past and this time we're discussing fancy foot work on behalf of the Men and Women in uniform who said "Yes" to raising funds for their foundation which then turns and assists these heroes when things get tough....and one thing that's clear from ALL of these episodes is that things get tough often. Thanks for any part you can play in this story! April 28th https://osceolacsf.org/events/
We spoke to Robert Ramos who's a Master K9 specialist after a beautiful conversation with him and over 30 years in the UNIT but now he's teamed up with Debbie Johnson who's the passion and creator of K9sUNITED.org Thanks to all who are motivated to help after getting this kind of understanding and knowledge about programs like these!
He also sits on the board for the Orlando Police Foundation along side myself and this is our first opportunity to peel back the really unique layers of this onion! He builds up leaders we need so badly today
What's it like working with a dog, taking that partner home, what happens when one of these k9's retire? Where's Robert with him being retired after 35+ years working this specialty? Glad we have him on to answer these questions
James Dicks has dedicated a great deal of his timeline here on this planet to sharpening up humanity in the spaces he influences. From books to organizations that save officers and deputies to US Department of Defense business we don't even know is happening in the background. Meet James Dicks
All of the departments make up the body of the Law Enforcement Department but which is responsible for caring for these officer's and deputies souls? Mental health is a real thing and so is soul care with a job this demanding and our guest today is Andy Jones and this is his calling!
David Ogden heads up Windemere, FL's Police Department and shares the climb to get there, the trials and rough roads faced and the passing of his beautiful son to the birth of a new ministry aimed at strengthening the person behind the badge...this dude is one straight up bad ass and I'm fortunate to have him on as our final show for 2021! Meet David Ogden
We get to dig in deeper with the Department's individuals and what they accomplish when they jump into SWAT and what it means as a collective. Love Jon and the fact that his unique perspective this career is solid!
We're lucky to have Sergeant Chris Bigelow on with his staff who are so open about their lives and of course, the process of sniffing out the next to be behind the badge and call themselves City's Finest
We're just days away from our Blue Line Gala where we'll be honoring the Deputies and Officers in a special way and we love to get more familiar with our community leaders in a way we usually don't!
Love catching up with the movers & shakers of the community especially those dedicating their rare time to protecting the protectors. He's at the top of his game and that doesn't come easy or without some major highs and crushing lows. He still powers through for the greater good and is the highlight of this episode
Both Police Department and Sherriff Organizations meld to celebrate in style at a special event we've designed with an amazing purpose and we'll discuss those details
We've had sometime to get Galas and Charity events planned out since starting this platform and before we get to those episodes highlighting the new progress.....it all had to start somewhere and this is a revisit of that Origin story featuring Orlando, Fl Chief Of Police, Orlando Rolon
Mrs. Sonya Robinson is a rockstar that helps on multiple layers when it comes to the overall heart beat of the Police Department in Orlando, Fl. It was with overwhelming references that she gets to be the first recipient of something we hope to be a historic award that pays in ways sometimes money can't satisfy
I have my ON AIR partner on this episode with a deputy who's small act of kindness went viral in a time law enforcement is in where it highlights the heart behind the badge
Big thanks to Bryan Beyer who sits in that seat being a professional bridge and communicator to the community and I'll put him in the Fast Five question hot seat for the first time ever on the CITY'S FINEST
President of the OPF Joe Nunziata is back in the seat telling us why, what, where and how our Officers and Deputies are getting this recognition and now that we're a full on Non Profit, it's time to let you in on just how much we're giving away to Law Enforcements Men and Women!
Captain Shaw is part of the Seminole County Sheriff family and agreed to jump in the cockpit with Obie to get up on the life in his arena. A Father of 2 and mentor to many in and out of uniform and it's an honor to grab a few minutes to sit down and dig in!
Imagine pumping 42 plus years of your life into the betterment of the community. In that time, all the twists, turns, ups and downs and not to mention changes in tech...Hal has seen it all come and go and He's on the show
Glad to have known him for years and now have him in a space where we can dig into what's driven him to this point in service to the City. The First African American to be Chief, Sheriff & Mayor in our parts!
Takes a leader & the most amazing hearted and generous team to make these kind of money raising ideas happen that in turn, bless a family who deserves this Dream Home! How's an entire house built for free though?
Glad we have the PRO's on from the Orlando Police Department's training space to talk about what we did wrong after being invited to train with OPD and SWAT & their state of the art facilitates which are out of this world.
There's history to the climb of any Chief & the ingredients we see & those most important people at the foundation of bold men like this who bear the weight of the task, back at home
The newly formed Orlando Police Foundation now has a podcast that's purpose will be fulfilled by caring on the stories of the unseen activities of our finest citizens who decide to put on the uniform. Today's Guest is the one responsible for it all, Joe Nunziata
