Circle Mobilizing because Black Lives Matter
The Color Correction podcast is an honest and informative show that tackles questions about race and faith from a Christian perspective. Hosted by Beth, Andrew, and Kris, this podcast stands out for its proactive love for all people, including their enemies, as exemplified by their belief in leaving vengeance to God. The hosts display wisdom, relatability, and preparedness in their discussions, making each episode a thoughtful exploration of the topics at hand. As someone with limited time for podcasts, I have subscribed to six different shows but always choose Color Correction as my top priority every week. I am committed to listening to every episode as long as they continue producing them.
What sets Color Correction apart from other podcasts is the friendship between the three hosts who come from diverse racial backgrounds and perspectives. This dynamic allows them to work through questions about race and faith in real-time conversations, actively listening to and caring for each other while also challenging one another's perspectives. Their engagement with current events and cultural issues adds extra value to each episode, making it both relevant and engaging. I highly recommend this podcast for those seeking sincere dialogue about racism from a Christian standpoint.
While Color Correction has many strengths, there are some aspects that could be improved upon. One area is the technical quality of the podcast. At times, the audio can be inconsistent or unclear, which can make it difficult to fully engage with the content being discussed. Additionally, some listeners may find certain episodes or topics more appealing than others based on personal interest or relevance to their own lives. It would be helpful if there were more consistency in terms of content focus or theme.
In conclusion, Color Correction is a must-listen podcast that offers fresh perspectives on racism from a Christian point of view. The hosts' authentic dialogue and genuine care for one another create an inviting atmosphere for listeners to join in on their conversations. This show has challenged me to think critically about my faith while providing valuable insights into the complex issue of race relations. Whether you are a believer or not, I encourage you to add Color Correction to your playlist and start listening as soon as possible – it is definitely worth it!
