Hoy repasaremos la vida de una chica normal que se veía fea, hoy recordaremos a Claude Giuseppina Rose Cardinale, más conocida como CC, Claudia Cardinale. BB era Brigitte Bardot pero llegó Paul Newman y dejaron de usar lo de las iniciales. La pequeña Claudia nació el 15 de abril de 1938 en Túnez. En verdad sus raíces eran sicilianas pero como en Italia había menos trabajo que el tablón del INEM, sus padres se fueron a trabajar a la empresa naviera del abuelo materno de Claudia. En su casa se hablaba francés, árabe y siciliano, que son como dos de Benacazón peleándose por un aparcamiento. Sin embargo Claudia no aprendió italiano hasta los 18 años, cuando le hizo falta. En 1952, a los 14 años, Claudia estaba ayudando a su madre a preparar un concurso para nombrar a la chica italiana más bella de Túnez y estando todas las candidatas en el escenario, un gashó la agarró del brazo, la subió y le puso la banda sin haberse presentado. Y es que Claudia era un poquito Doña Sofía, la última en enterarse. Cuando pasó al instituto no podía con ella ni la Supernany; Era gritona, se peleaba con tó los niños y no dejaba hablar, como María Patiño pero con la voz de Constantino Romero. Antes de terminar el BUP participó en un corto que se presentó en el festival de cine de Berlín y eso fue para directores y productores como enseñarle un Funko a un Friki, todos querían que participara en sus películas pero ella dijo “no” más veces que una madre en el Tiger, tantas que hasta un periódico escribió sobre ella diciendo “La chica que no quiere hacer cine”. Y es que lo que ella quería era ser maestra. Cuando tenía 17 años un mierda obsesionado con ella que no quiso aceptar un no, la dejó embarazada y la acosó para que abortara pero Claudia siguió adelante y tuvo un niño, Patrizio, al que la familia criaría como si fuera un hijo más y, por tanto, hermano de Claudia. Como al padre le escribían más cartas que a Elena Francis para convencer a Claudia de hacer carrera en el cine, la familia entera se mudó a Roma cuando tenía 19 años para intentarlo. En 1957 rodó Goha, junto a Omar Sharif y el resto es Historia del cine. En esta época tenía una cara y un cuerpo que si hubiera sido maestra tó sus alumnos se hubieran quedao ciegos. Fellini y Visconti se la turnaban por semanas para rodar, Marcelo Mastroianni le dijo que siempre la había amado cuando aún estaba casado con Catherine Deneuve y Marlo Brando… Marlo Brando no cuenta porque ese le tiraba caña hasta a una muñeca de cera del museo de Madrid. Filántropa y feminista, en 1966 se casó con el productor Franco Cristaldi quién adoptó a su hijo y en 1975, tras el divorcio se juntó con el director Pasquale Squitieri con quién tuvo a su hija Claudia y con el que estuvo 30 años.
