Disney announces a Disney+ bundle. The Game of Thrones showrunners just inked a nine-figure deal with Netflix. The Calculating Stars is a great sci-fi book everyone should read.

E3 2019 is a wrap and there was plenty to talk about. We go over the biggest points of the show, include the surprise visit of Keanu Reeves at the Microsoft Press Conference. The Handmaid's Tale and Big Little lies have started their third and second seasons respectively, and The Secret Life of Pets 2 was as delightful as the first.

Black Panther scored an Oscar nod for Best Picture. HBO has released a new Game of Thrones teaser. A black cloud has been hanging over the video game industry the past couple of weeks. A tragic shooting at a Madden qualifying tournament left three people dead. Riot Games has come under scrutiny for widespread sexual harassment after numerous employees have shared their stories. Microsoft announced a new financing deal for consoles called Xbox All Access. Fandango surveyed people about the most anticipated movies for the fall and Amazon is talking with movie studios about creating original movies.

San Diego Comic Con wrapped up last week, and while there sadly wasn't a Game of Thrones trailer, there were quite a few others. We talk about Star Trek Discovery, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald, and Shazam. Both Fortnite and No Man's Sky got huge updates. No Man's Sky is like a full game now. No, really. Folks on the Internet keep saying EA forced BioWare to make Anthem, but that's just not the case. However, BioWare's perception has changed a lot all due to that thing they did Mass Effect 3. The Maze Runner trilogy is a pretty good dystopian story. Stephen King's latest novel is a page-turner, and apparently you need lots and lots of dice to play D&D

E3 is officially over. We talk about all of the news and announcements that came out of the show, in addition to some hands-on impressions of a few games. Nicole has finished The Alchemy Wars, Regina has just started, and Stephen is reading Crushing It. We offer thoughts on The Incredibles 2 and the tear-jerking short film at the beginning. Principal shooting has started for Wonder Woman 1984 and lots of goodies are already floating around the internet, including a shot that hints the invisible plane might be making an appearance. God of War continues to be wonderful and is a must-buy for PS4 owners. Nintendo has finally announced details for the Switch online service. Wal-mart Canada may have inadvertently leaked a bunch of unannounced games, and a few companies are starting to detail their E3 plans. But movies and TV is where it's at this week. Hearthstone's newest expansion is live now, and Stephen plans to have his daughter open all of his card packs. We've got new details on the upcoming PS4 Spider-Man and the Spyro the Dragon Trilogy. The creators of Westworld did something totally awesome. Ready Player One was ok. A new Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer has hit and the book, Leia: Princess of Alderaan is pretty good. The ESA is meeting with the President and trying to temper the loot box controversy, a second edition of Pathfinder is on the way. Spellbound is game from the makers of Stardew Valley that's set in a magic school, and you can get a miniature Oregon Trail console at Target. The Oscars had terrible ratings and the first trailer for Christopher Robin dropped this week. Marvel is rebooting its whole line. And the Annihilation book is really good.
