„Man, warum weckst du mich gerade jetzt?" – Träume fühlen sich echt an, bis der Wecker klingelt. In Jesaja 29 weckt Gott gleich zwei Gruppen aus einem täuschenden Traum: sein eigenes Volk in Jerusalem, das meint, der äußere Tempeldienst genüge – und die Feinde, die meinen, sie könnten das Volk Gottes auslöschen. Gott selbst belagert die Stadt, die er Ariël nennt, seinen Feuerherd. Er beugt die Stolzen in den Staub, bis ihre Stimme leise wird und sie nicht länger auf sich selbst vertrauen. Doch dann kippt alles: Die übermächtige Armee wird selbst zu feinem Staub und weggewehter Spreu – wie der Hungrige, der vom Essen träumt und mit leerer Seele aufwacht. Am Kreuz wurde Jesus zum wahren Ariël: Er trug das Gerichtsfeuer, das eigentlich uns galt. Am Ostermorgen hieß es für die Hölle: Ausgeträumt. Christus ist der Eckstein auf dem Berg Zion, an dem jede feindliche Macht zerschellt.
