We (Scott and Wendi) love archery and want to pass down information so that it's easier for you to get into this sport! Information on different type of archery competitions or interviews that encourage you to keep pushing! Welcome to Raising an Arch
The Raising an Archer podcast, hosted by Scott, my brother-in-law, is a surprisingly enjoyable show that I stumbled upon by chance. Initially, I only listened to the first episode out of curiosity and to support family, but to my surprise, I found myself hooked and now eagerly anticipate each new episode. With so many podcasts out there vying for our attention, it's rare to find one that stands out from the crowd. Raising an Archer manages to do just that with its excellent sound quality, entertaining banter between hosts, and engaging content centered around the world of archery.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its exceptional sound quality. The hosts have clearly invested in high-quality equipment and production values, resulting in a crisp and clear listening experience. This attention to detail enhances the overall enjoyment of the show as it allows listeners to fully engage with the conversations and learn from the information being shared. Whether you're a seasoned archer or a novice exploring this fascinating sport for the first time, the clarity of sound makes it easy to follow along and absorb the valuable insights provided.
Furthermore, the witty banter between the hosts adds an element of fun and entertainment that sets this podcast apart from others in its niche. Scott's chemistry with his co-hosts is evident as they effortlessly engage in lighthearted conversations while still delivering informative content. This balance between education and entertainment ensures that each episode remains engaging throughout its duration. It's refreshing to find a podcast that not only educates but also offers moments of laughter and enjoyment.
However, no podcast is without its flaws. One aspect that could be improved upon is the occasional lack of organization or structure within episodes. While the hosts' natural conversational style contributes to their appeal, there are instances where topics can feel meandering or disjointed. A more defined structure or outline may enhance listener comprehension and help maintain focus on important points being discussed.
In conclusion, The Raising an Archer podcast is a hidden gem in the vast sea of podcasts. Scott and his co-hosts have crafted a show that combines superb sound quality with entertaining banter, making it enjoyable for archery enthusiasts and casual listeners alike. While there are areas that could benefit from more organization, the overall experience of listening to this podcast is undeniably positive. So, whether you're seeking archery knowledge or simply enjoy a good laugh, give The Raising an Archer podcast a listen – it may just hit the bullseye for you!

The Ragsdale family joined the NFAA/TFAA in 1965, when Toby was just 5 years old. He vividly remembers that year because he was one year shy of being able to compete, which didn't sit well with the naturally competitive young Toby. Toby only waited that one year before he began competing with his bow. Toby had tremendous success as a young archer and if you shot back in those days, you knew the archers in Texas were the most dominating and competitive group of shooters in the country. Toby Ragsdale won two (2) National Championships, at least seven (7) Sectional Championships, and six (6) State Championships. At the young age of 62, Toby has won at least one archery championship in each of the last six decades. https://www.patreon.com/RaisinganArcher
