 Its been awhile since church has reopened but yet many have not returned.  Many may have reasons, others just making excuses.  Why is it important for us to return to our church family?

John 4:24 talks about how we must worship God.  Many tend to worship without emotion and/or without really knowing him.

Matthew  21:18-21 and Mark 11:15-17 brings us the incident of when Jesus withers a fig tree for not producing fruit, even though it wasnt the season yet.  Lets see what is the intention of this scripture.

The church in the next few years or months will continue to experience a culture change that will separate us even more within the church.  Celebrating days such as remembrance of transgender day puts those at odds with the word of God and fellow christians who follow it.

In these days the Afghan Christians are among many that need are our prayers as they are will continue to face serious persecution.  Also many women and children will be among the most sought after for sex or child slavery. 

2 Timoteo 1: 7 dice que "porque Dios no nos dio el espíritu de temor, sino de poder, amor y dominio propio". Sin embargo, muchos cristianos se deja dominar por ellos y vivir en muchas circunstancias o situaciones en lugar de echar su carga sobre el Señor, como decía el salmista. El Señor sabía lo perjudicial que podía ser para nuestra salud, además de mostrar falta de fe.

2 Timothy 1:7 says that " for God did not give us the spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control."  Yet many christians allowed themselves to be controlled by such  and live under many circumstances or situations instead of casting their burden on the Lord, as the psalmist said.   The Lord knew how detrimental it could be to our health as well as showing lack of faith.

It's true many Christians believe that God will provide a good life if we are obedient and follow him as Lord.  But did God called us to have a happy and good life or to be good witnesses ?

Since the late 1900's women have been ordained in some religions to preach and teach. In many aspects they stepped up when many men went to war.  Martin Luther  in the 1520's contended that "“all of us are priests, provided we are Christians “ and then again when he said  “Order, good behavior, honor, require that women should stop talking when a man speaks ; but when no man speaks, women should preach” .   Are we at that point? Does this give us reason to redefine scripture?
