It was all started by Bill Stowe, one of the pioneers of the Idaho wine industry. Bill found his love for wine while in the army during time stationed in Germany. Season 2 Episode 14: On this episode Cheyenne is in Buhl, Idaho at Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery with James and Caitlin Holesinsky. James tells us the story of how by chance he acquired some Chardonnay vines that were on their way to being tossed and that was the beginning of what would become the 2022 Idaho Winery of the Year. We learn how little by little the vineyard and winery grew to where they are today.
