Spring has sprung (and we're a little late) but in that season of renewal (spring and our brand-new name and cover art) we thought we'd look at some little-known parks in Rome that are right in the middle of everything, but hidden. We've often talked about how difficult it can feel to find green space or a place to relax in Rome's historic center. In this episode, we tell you about two gardens near the Trevi Fountain that overlook the crowds: the gardens of the Palazzo Quirinale and Villa Aldobrandini. You can learn more about Palazzo Quirinale and buy tickets here: palazzo.quirinale.itThe Villa Aldobrandini is a free park open from 7:00am to sunset. You can join our Patreon for free! Youtube… Beware of AI Fake Videos for gathering your information, as the AI hackers are now using credible people to fool you. The UK’s King Charles comes to Washington to repair the relationship damage, for when England denied U.S. fighters to land; refuel and resupply at England’s bases. Solution: Give Donald Trump a Gold Eagle Peace Award, and now the relationship is back to Hugs and Kisses.
Professor Mohammed Mirandi informs us that Iran fired 400 missiles last night in 40 minutes hitting all 3 U.S. Aircraft Carriers in the Persian gulf, sinking them. ???? Professor Mirandi has been a very credible source in the past with being on Judge Andrew Napolitano’s daily podcast. I am told this is an analytical projection, but I did not hear this disclaimer in the clip. ??? Very precise detail in this video. Surely we will find out Monday morning. If true…. I see this war going Nuclear to end it. Against the premise of why the U.S. went to war on Iran in the first place. To make sure that Iran doesn’t get their hands on a Nuclear bomb.

We're back and we're off the beaten path again! Today we're talking about the ancient landfill-turned-mountain of Monte Testaccio in Rome's Testaccio neighborhood. What awaits you at the top are beautiful views of Rome, the sense of accomplishment that you've scaled a pile of trash, and underfoot—all along the way—you'll see carefully broken pottery, neatly stacked and placed to create paths, walls, and the entirety of the mountain you're standing on. This week on So Much JENergy, we're going off the beaten path…and possibly into the pasture.
Got questions about traveling in Europe? I've got answers! And this month's Listener Q&A features two fantastic ones from Luana. She's heading to Europe for the first time this summer and wrote this:"I am going to Europe for the first time this year in summer! Due to it being our first time a little over half of our trip is large/famous cities. So, understanding it will be very busy in these cities (Venice, Rome, Barcelona, Athens) are there any recommendations you have for making our experience smoother/more enjoyable in the crowds?"So in this episode, I share some practical tips to help you navigate peak season with a bit more ease — from when to visit popular sites to how to find quieter corners and build in breaks so you can actually enjoy the experience. Her second question takes us in the opposite direction:“Do you have any off-the-beaten-path locations you would recommend in winter?” I love this one. We dive into why some destinations are actually better in the off-season, along with ideas for quieter regions, smaller towns, and even how to rethink those big-name cities when the crowds disappear. If you've ever wondered how to handle Europe in the height of summer — or where to go when things slow down — this episode is full of thoughtful insights to help you travel Europe your way. And if you've got a question you'd like me to answer in a future episode, head over to wanderyourway.com/podcast and submit it. I just might feature it next.Note: These Listener Q&A episodes don't have a companion blog post, so you'll only find this one in your favorite podcast app. Happy listening!Important links:Listener Question FormWander Your Way AdventuresWander Your WayWander Your Way Resources12 of My Favorite Amazing European CitiesTips for Traveling Off the Main Tourist Track5 Reasons Why Travel to Europe in Winter is a Sensational Idea ★ Support this podcast ★

Most of the fear that stops you isn't real. It's just unfamiliar. And unfamiliar doesn't mean dangerous. Show Notes In this episode of Shark Theory, Baylor shares a lesson learned while hiking off the beaten path with Bear and how it directly applies to stepping into new territory in life. When you leave familiar routines and predictable paths, your senses wake up. Every sound feels louder. Every unknown feels bigger. What once felt safe suddenly feels risky. And when that happens, your mind fills in the gaps with worst-case scenarios. But most of the time, what you think is a monster is just a squirrel. Baylor explains how staying on the same route every day causes your brain to shut down, crave comfort, and resist change. That's why people stay in jobs they hate, relationships that drain them, and routines that numb them. Comfort becomes more important than growth. The moment you step into unfamiliar territory, your awareness returns. Your capacity expands. You start to realize how much more you're capable of when you're fully awake. This episode is a reminder that growth lives off the beaten path, that help is closer than you think, and that trusting people who know the terrain can make all the difference. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why unfamiliar situations trigger unnecessary fear How routine causes mental shutdown and complacency Why growth requires stepping off the safe path The importance of trusting people with real experience How to tell the difference between real danger and imagined fear Why most obstacles are smaller than you think once you face them Featured Quote "Don't let squirrels turn into monsters just because you've never walked this path before."
