The Shady Bunch decides that their next step should be to go to Caraquette. They hope to catch up with what they’ve missed in the past 11 years and maybe convince Atlas to lend them a small army to take to deal with Veritys aunt Ondrea in Lunaris. But first things first: they need to get a horse and cart. Scoria made a deal with a Farmer for their draft horse promising that he would organize a lunch with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom. To everyone's dismay the peasant man's intention was to introduce the Crown prince to his young daughters. One of the girls ran off in tears with the realization that her prince was already married to Verity. Brilia and Verity went off to comfort her and give her a makeover, but quickly realized there was no end to the girls tears and escaped the girls attention with an illusory distraction. Taabi and Arsen bought their new horse Nisil (Nehzeel) and also provided the family with a portrait of Arsen. Cart and horse acquired the party and made their way to Caraquette, meeting a large army of undead marching in the same direction led by a Death Knight. Concerned about the full force making it close to the kingdom the party made a plan to spit them and hopefully reduce their numbers. The party pretty successfully split their ranks but not without catching the Death Knights attention. The party eventually managed to defeat him, not completely unscathed as Brilia now sports a new necrotic wound on her body, one that they can't get rid of by any magical means at their disposal. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Welcome to Darkness & Dragons; the actual play livestream for the narrative roleplayer. Lost in the Astral Seas, our party struggles with separation from their friends and allies. But even with Vecna’s plans (temporarily) foiled and Cade put to death, nothing comes easy. Will Verity come to terms with who she has become and reclaim her throne? Will Taabi find hope for his people, after everything has been taken from them? Will Brilia find the love of her life, or is Kos lost forever? All these questions and more will be answered in this THE FINAL SEASON of Darkness and Dragons. “What happened to our creativity after growing up?” This was the question Yara Kamal asked herself when starting her company. At the age of 23, Yara, an adventure seeker by day, creator by night, art teacher by passion and a yoga teacher by heart, founded Scoria World, a sustainable Canadian yoga brand with unique slip-resistant cork yoga mats to spark the inner child. Born in Toronto, Canada, Scoria was crowdfunded on Kickstarter and offers the most creative & imaginative high quality cork yoga mats. At Scoria, they believe that reconnecting with lost creativity enhances our mental and physical well-being and that creativity must be embraced with kindness. Yara creates products that encourage a youthful mindset such as playfulness, imagination, and story-telling. She designed her products to encourage her consumers to rediscover who they were before the world told us who to be in order to spark the child within. Yara shares what lead her to dedicate her life to create a brand that serves as a reminder of a connection to the playful, creative & imaginative qualities we had when we were children all while giving back one yoga mat at a time.
“I wanted people to connect with their inner child because to me that's our true self “ Yara (@yarakamal) Is the founder of Scoriaworld that was launched with a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised of $15,000. Its an eco-conscious yoga brand focused on reconnecting people to their creativity. She had always been drawn to art and creativity but at some point in life she felt he style change and he creativity dwindle. ** At university Yara studied fashion design communication where she learned to look for trends and attempt to predict the next thing coming up in culture. It was an uncomfortable experience since it was a world of judgment. ** To get back to herself she started doing yoga as a physical practice but quickly started feeling physical results. Looking to become more creative and connect with a happier version of herself she started looking towards children's art. This is were Scoria started to form. She took the concepts from children's artwork and started translating them onto cork yoga mats with the intent that people could reconnection with a truer version of themselves during their movement practices. ** Yara explains that with creativity, as children we express ourselves freely without judgement but as we grow older we adopt other people's expectations and beliefs losing that truest part of ourselves. There normally inst judgment in children's art. ** She has always been drawn to art, Yara started drawing at a young age and over time started sketching fashion art. Once in high school, her work shifted to a more dark, big topic style that helped express her challenges with bigger life struggles. ** Yara believes when making big shifts in life it's okay to take it slow. Whether it's adopting a yoga practice or reducing single use water bottles. ** To connect with Yara and Scoria be sure to follow the links below: https://www.instagram.com/yarakamal/ https://www.instagram.com/scoriaworld/ Connect with us https://www.instagram.com/theunitedpromotion/
