LaTisha shares with us what it truly means to be living on purpose and what it looks like when passion meets purpose. Latisha also known as “Tisha Talks” mission is to empower and influence women in the area of business, personal development, and leadership. In 2017, she published her first book entitled “Second Chances”, a story of redemption and redefinition. Over the years, she has spoken at several venues, produced women's enrichment conferences, and is the host of Boss Ladies Connect a podcast that connects and encourages women to live out their purpose. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Pillar College, and a M. A. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. She is the Founder of the Thrive Hive an organization that provides personal and professional development opportunities for women and the Co-Founder of Elite Vision Builders a consulting and coaching group that empowers organizations, businesses, and individuals to maximize their effectiveness through coaching and strategic planning methods. Latisha worked in Higher Education for over 16 years serving as the departmental budget manager in the areas of Alumni Relations, University Advancement, Financial Aid, and Business Services. She is a woman of faith and believes that through creating spaces for women to grow she is not only fulfilling her purpose but she is helping others walk in theirs. Bethany Glass is 30 years old, and works as a Program Administration Associate at the Project Management Institute. She is a member of The Meeting Place, formally known as Mt. Zion Pentecostal Faith Church, where Bishop Edward and Toria Long serve as the Pastor and First Lady. She serves on the praise and worship team, the intercessory prayer team, and anywhere else that she sees a need in. She has a bachelor's degree in Professional Studies with two Minors in Education and Special Education. She has recently embarked on a new journey, and is currently back in school working towards becoming a Christian Counselor. Over the past 30 years, while being in many experiences and relationships, she has learned and grown into the single, saved, successful, content woman you see before you today. She has rededicated her body back to Christ and is patiently waiting for God to bring her Kingdom Purpose Mate. Arbeilla discusses just how important it is for us to tell our story especially when it does not look like the stories that are being promoted by media. She opens up about how being transparent about her PCOS and psoriasis has influenced others to not only accept what they are experiencing but how to continue to live life just as God called them to do. Arbeilla McCray, content creator and youtuber has taken the things she is most passionate about to create a platform of influence and revenue. Over the past three months she has continuously dedicated her time, talent and treasures into her creative space. Arbeilla also displays a vulnerable side of her, which is, her health issues with psoriasis and PCOS. She is open about that part of her life on her blogs, which allows her to connect with her audience. On today's episode, we are joined by Kerra Daniel who calls herself the “non-traditional southern millennial woman”. During today's episode, Kerra discusses how she stepped out on faith and went away from her traditional southern values in order to propel herself forward in the goals that she had for herself. Although there was self-defeating thoughts that she encountered, she persisted to be living out her purpose. She lets us know just how important it is to have a community around that we can be transparent with and supports us in our growth! Kerra is an alumni of Alabama State University, where she attributes the woman she is today to the lessons learned at this institution of higher education where she learned of the necessity of engaging in community of black people, supporting each other and cheering each other on in every way possible. She credits Alabama State University for teaching fundamental life lessons with the most important one being "you deserve the very best this life has to offer and why not bring someone who looks like you along for the ride that she shares with us to. She received her B.S. in Rehabilitation Services with a concentration in Addiction studies and a Master's of Rehabilitation counseling. After a 3.5 year stint with the federal government, she found her way back to the classroom at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where she is completing her PhD. She revels in helping minorities and women of color fight the social injustices that attribute to their silent cries when no one else cares to listen.
