This Photographer had an $11K January with Jessica Pimental - Episode 97 of the Sustainable Freedom with Boudoir Photography Podcast with Tracy Lynn! How Jessica Hit an $11K Month With the Help of Forever Booked Out I know that stepping out and going full-time as a boudoir photographer can be pretty intimidating. It's a lot, and it can definitely stop you in your tracks! But I challenge you to think about what's on the other side of that fear… A job you love. Working with people you enjoy, doing something you enjoy. Financial freedom. Freedom to work when you want, where you want. And so much more… You never know until you try, right? That's why I want to introduce you to Jessica, a student from Forever Booked Out. In this week's episode of the Sustainable Freedom With Boudoir Photography Podcast, she opens up about her experience inside the program, and how it helped her reach an $11K month. I first came across Jessica on Instagram, where she was flinging paint on a rug in her studio because lots of people had just told her to be careful of the rug. And I thought, wow, I really need to talk to her about how she came to this point in her life where she can let everyone else's expectations go to the wayside and do what's right for her in the moment. We also talk about using the process of creating something to figure out what it is you're trying to say, which I think is really powerful in a world that's really focused on success and the end result. We also talk about using art as a “dictionary of your language” to express yourself when words don't really cut it, and how to use that to process things that are going on in your mind. You'll find some real gems of wisdom in here no matter what kind of thing you make or perform, and I couldn't have asked for a better conversation to kickstart Season 2.
