This is TwoGether: An Ada Bible Marriage podcast. Our hosts, Dr. Kelly Bonewell, Samuel Jones, and Rachel Norton provide a glimpse into the world of their lives while giving practical and biblically based help from their countless experiences of helping
Dr. Kelly Bonewell and Samuel Jones
The TwoGether podcast has been a transformative experience for me. When I first started listening, I was drawn to it because it was from my home church. Little did I know that it would go beyond just being a podcast and actually change my relationships with my husband, those around me, and even with God. This podcast is different because the hosts are real - they don't shy away from the tough issues in marriage and personal struggles, and they openly share their own challenges. It is refreshing to hear such honesty, and it makes me feel less alone in my own journey.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how it gets to the heart of the issues. The hosts don't just scratch the surface or provide cliché advice; they dig deep and explore the underlying problems that couples face. They also bring in guests who have gone through difficult seasons, which helps to validate our own experiences. The topics covered are diverse and relevant, covering everything from communication to intimacy to navigating difficult family dynamics. It's like having a personal mentor guiding you through these challenges.
Another great aspect is the practical advice provided on this podcast. It's not just theoretical ideas or concepts; there are tangible steps and strategies given that can be implemented in real life situations. The wisdom shared is grounded in biblical principles but applicable to anyone, regardless of their religious beliefs. The stories shared by both the hosts and guests provide real-life examples of how these strategies can be put into practice.
If there's one downside to this podcast, it's that sometimes the episodes can feel a bit repetitive or overly focused on specific topics. While repetition can sometimes be beneficial for learning, I have found myself wishing for more variety in terms of content. However, this is a minor issue compared to all the value that this podcast offers.
In conclusion, I am incredibly grateful for The TwoGether podcast and its impact on my personal growth journey. It has truly changed my perspective on relationships and has provided me with practical guidance and wisdom. The openness and honesty of the hosts, as well as the relatable stories shared by guests, have made me feel less alone in my struggles. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is seeking to improve their marriage or personal growth journey.
In our final episode of the season, Rachel, Andy and Kelly shared about their experience in taking the Better Love marriage assessment. We go over the different aspects of the assessment as well as talk about our own results and shared what it got right about our marriages. We end the episode by talking with Rachel about her role at Ada Bible Church as our Director of Women's Ministry and her vision for the ministry. Because of her responsibilities, sadly, Rachel has to step down as a host, but we are so thankful for her two years of being on the TwoGether team! Here is a link to where you can find more information on the assessment: https://www.betterlove.com/

It's a new season of TwoGether! One of our favorite things to do when we interview couples is that we ask each of them to share on the episode what they love about their spouse.
