Know-how ist heute geschenkt. – „Keine Ahnung. Dann meld dich. As Women Emerging concludes its Journeys to Leadership series, this special re-release revisits one of the conversations that helped shape how we think about leadership. The episode brings together Rouba Mhassen, Erica Su, and Folawe Omikunle as they reflect on the moments that transformed how they understood themselves and the way they lead.Rouba shares how she did not recognise herself as someone leading until others named it, and how embracing that identity changed everything. Erica explores the importance of writing your own story, making decisions that are self-defining rather than self-limiting, and having the courage to say no. Folawe reflects on leading with love, building communities that lift one another up, and accepting that difficult conversations are part of the journey.Together, their stories explore confidence, responsibility, identity, relationships, courage, and the quiet moments that reshape how we see ourselves. The conversation reminds us that leadership is rarely a linear journey, and that the most significant turning points are often recognised only in hindsight.About the Guest:Rouba MhaissenRouba Mhaissen is an economist, activist, and development practitioner focused on the MENA region, particularly forced migration and the Syrian refugee crisis. She is the founder and director of the Sawa Foundation and Sawa for Development and Aid, organizations dedicated to working with Syrian refugees through an integrated development approach since 2011. She graduated with a bachelor's in international law and diplomacy from Babcock University and a master's from the Diplomatic Academy of London. Sei dir wichtig. Du bist unendlich wertvoll. Sometimes all it takes is one sip. It happened to the founders of Woodfolk Cider, Martha Lowry and Alistair Whitehead, and it can happen to YOU! What began as a shared love of food, drink, and hospitality eventually led them to plant orchards, build a cidery, and welcome visitors to their 87-acre farm in Ontario, Canada. In this week's episode of The Bible for Normal People, Jared continues his tour through the history of modern biblical scholarship, exploring five (or six) more “aha moments” that transformed how scholars understand the Bible. From Rudolf Bultmann's challenge to interpret ancient texts in a modern world and the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, to new insights about editorial shaping, literary criticism, and the role of readers themselves, he traces how scholarship increasingly revealed the Bible as a dynamic, evolving tradition. Along the way, Jared highlights the rise of feminist, liberationist, and postmodern approaches, as well as the New Perspective on Paul, showing how fresh historical evidence and diverse voices have reshaped long-held assumptions about scripture, interpretation, and faith. Together, these developments invite listeners to approach the Bible with greater historical awareness, intellectual humility, and curiosity about the communities that produced, preserved, and continue to interpret these sacred texts. SummaryInnovation isn't a lightning bolt, it's a process. That's the message threaded throughout the latest episode of the Startup Junkies podcast, where Eva Fast, director of the University of Arkansas MSPI program, joined hosts Daniel Koonce and Caleb Talley for a deep dive into product innovation, entrepreneurial mindsets, and the realities behind those famed “aha” moments.Drawing from her upbringing in Kenya and extensive academic career, Eva breaks the myth that innovation is a singular, sudden event. Instead, she describes it as a gradual journey shaped by diverse perspectives and continuous exposure to new ideas. Her research, inspired by Steven Johnson's "Where Good Ideas Come From," reveals that creativity blossoms over time and thrives within vibrant networks.Listeners will hear how the MSPI program acts as a bridge, connecting technical, business, and human elements to equip students for both startup ventures and corporate innovation roles. Whether you're a hands-on entrepreneur or an aspiring intrapreneur, the program's structure, mentorship, and hands-on challenges offer room for all innovation styles.Eva also spotlights the rising influence of AI, sharing how tools are accelerating everything from MVP launches to capstone projects. The conversation closes with practical advice: be curious, take action, and never underestimate the value of diverse experiences. For those craving real perspectives on what it takes to move from idea to impact, this episode is a must-listen. Peter Robbins is the author of The Trader's Journey. He entered the financial markets 50 years ago with nothing but a dream, his friend, and a parental signature to trade the markets, surviving decades of tectonic shifts to navigate the transition from outcry trading to the digital age. After starting out at age 15 and carrying the weight of massive commission costs back in the 1970s, Peter developed a deeply disciplined, business first framework across multiple asset classes from day trading futures to position trading ETFs. Today, now retired, his edge is built on five decades of experience and an unwavering focus on self awareness, using strategy to outline his trades while deep psychological clarity gives him the execution resilience required to survive. In this conversation, Peter pulls back the curtain on his 50 Year Market Evolution, sharing the hard truths that allowed him to achieve true longevity in a game where most do not last. He breaks down the true mechanics of a trader's edge, the absolute necessity of aligning strategy with personality, and how he transitioned from chasing the "Holy Grail" to mastering his own internal battle. In this episode, we explore:· The Hard Truths of a 50 Year Trading Career· The mechanics behind the two sides of a true Trader's Edge· Why it's important to treat trading exactly like a serious business· The importance of building an edge that matches your personality· How Peter views position trading and selects industry leaders today· Lessons learned from his early "Aha Moment" of learning to take small losses· His advice for beginner traders caught up in false guru expectations About Peter Robbins:Peter is a veteran professional trader and mentor known for his remarkable market longevity and transparent approach. Starting his journey at just 15 years old, he has documented and shared his hard-earned insights across five decades of trading full-time, part-time, and in retirement. He specializes in longer-term position trading in ETFs and U.S. stocks, focusing heavily on trader psychology, limiting beliefs, and the structural discipline required for sustainable market success. In this week's episode of The Bible for Normal People, Jared takes listeners on a tour through the history of modern biblical scholarship, tracing key “aha moments” that changed how scholars understand the Bible. From source criticism and the Documentary Hypothesis to oral tradition and the rise of fundamentalism, he explores how new questions about the Bible's origins reshaped both academia and the church. Together, these developments invite listeners to see the Bible not as a static text dropped from heaven, but as a deeply human collection of traditions formed over time. How does insomnia actually end? In this episode of Insomnia Insight, we explore a powerful and often overlooked truth: while many people can pinpoint the exact moment their insomnia started, almost no one can say exactly when it ended. So what does that tell us? Daniel (sleep physician turned sleep coach) shares three key insights from working with thousands of people who have overcome insomnia: Why insomnia doesn't end with a single “aha” moment • How “aha chasing” can actually keep you stuck • The illusion behind success stories and recovery timelines Why there's no clear “graduation day” from insomnia The reality is simple—but freeing: insomnia doesn't suddenly disappear. It fades. It loses momentum. It quietly exits. If you've been waiting for a breakthrough moment to fix everything, this episode might change how you see your progress—and help you move forward with less pressure.
