A podcast about Office 365 and SharePoint
Hey listeners, In this episode I dive into Power Pages, the new tool for building web sites using no-code/low-code in Microsoft365. And some other short news flashes from the Microsoft365 world as usual. Have a great summer and see you again in August ;) Cheers from your host Lise @sharepointbabe WITGirls podcast https://witgirlspodcast.com Listen, Rate and Subscribe: https://podcasts.apple.com/se/podcast/witgirls/id1252774275 Social links & Contact https://linktr.ee/Witgirls
I am back, finally, yey! Sorry for not delivering an episode in two months, but it's busy times :) In a good way though! In this episode I dive into two topics : The first is about SharePoint Home sites and Viva Connections and the other is about creating apps in Dataverse for Teams. What are they and how do they work? Why is there a picture of LA in the episode canvas, that is so not related to the topics? Listen and find out! ;) Thank you for listening and for your patience! ❤️
In this episode I dive into Site content types: how to add them in modern libraries, what are they, when should you use them and how to remove them. In episode 15 I share instructions on how to add them in SharePoint on-prem but this episode is only about how to add them in SharePoint online. These are very dark times with the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine and it affects us all
In this episode I have a guest on the show, Jason Brownhill, that I worked with on an assignment recently. We were diving into the Compliance center trying to sort out a storage issue related to retention policies set to forever. Super fun to work with Jason and I found out that he has been to Sweden a couple of times and he loves SEMLA, a Swedish bun with lots of cream and sugar on it - super delicious! I learned a lot working with Jason and especially about Compliance - not my usual work area - and hopefully you will learn something too from our findings! And of course, some of the latest news from Microsoft 365 where one is hot out of the oven ;) Jason Brownhill contact info: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-brownhill-8b9a993/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/Cheason Links mentioned: https://lists.live.com/ https://sharegate.com/ Info about retentions and the Preservation Hold libraries: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/retention-policies-sharepoint?view=o365-worldwide WITGirls podcast https://witgirlspodcast.com Listen, Rate and Subscribe: https://podcasts.apple.com/se/podcast/witgirls/id1252774275 Social links & Contact https://linktr.ee/Witgirls https://www.alternativegigs.com/

Hey listeners! I have a special episode for you today, it's a true crime story about the black metal murders that took place in the 90's in Norway. And the reason for that is that I visited that record store in Oslo this weekend, where it all began. A sad and cruel story, which began with a suicide, church burnings and murder... But of course my podcast is still loving tech and the latest news from Microsoft 365/SharePoint/Teams are delivered after the true crime story, as usual! We have been to the SEF conference that is hosted and organised by Göran and Beatrice Husman at HumanData. We enjoyed it very much and we share some of the news and sessions that we went to and also interview some of the attendees. Some of the speakers we mention are Dan Holme, Susan Hanley, Christina Wheeler, Christian Ståhl, Eric Shupps and more. At the end Lise is sharing the missing parts of episode 15, Hardcore Document Management, and that is how to add version number and document ID into a template, a very often requested function. Hope you enjoy the episode! Thank you for listening. Cheers!Link to SEF is https://seforum.se/

If you have followed our podcast, then you know that we love and are mostly very positive and happy about SharePoint and Office365. We work as consultants and work closely to the organisations so and it is not always fun and awesome, it can also be annoying and frustrating! We sometimes feel that we - or SharePoint - fail at meeting the users expectations and requests. Do you agree? We love to get your feedback! Mail us on witgirlspod@gmail.com. Cheers from Lise & Christina.
