Answers to prayers are not always streamlined to what we have imagined them to be and sometimes, NO is also an answer

Many struggles with getting answers to prayers. Today's devotional titled How to get Answers to Prayers is the very thing you need.

Jesus said whatever you ask in his name, he will do. God is not disregarding your prayers. He may not answer the way you want, but he will answer. When a certain nobleman came to Jesus asking for Him to heal his son, Jesus did not go with him. Instead, He just spoke the word and said the nobleman's son would live. The nobleman believed, and God rewarded his faith. On his way home, his servants met him, saying his son was well. The nobleman realized that his son began to recover at the exact same time Jesus said his son would live. Do not limit God. He may not grant your request when you expect and the way you expect, but he will give you a miracle. Don't lose hope!

Fear to pray is the devil trying to scare you away from praying and seeking God's answer for you and it allows the devil to be in control. ****When you understand the difference between signs and visible answers to prayer, you will have the confidence to seek God in all situations and know without a doubt that He wants you to seek Him anytime for any concern with all your heart. Philippians 4:6 states, “Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Anxiety is always the result of evaluating some future possible circumstance without considering God in it! You are trying to figure it out yourself, not trusting that God will be involved with you when the time arrives. So, let anxiety be the “red flag”, trigger or reminder to immediately pray and consider God in your future or even your present concern. Start by talking to God, praying, about your situation every time you think of it and you will see that your trust in God will increase and the anxiety will decrease because you have cast your cares on Jesus, 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon Him(God); for He careth for you. (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." Don't wait until your situation is so bad that you feel “all I can do now is pray”-pray when you recognize the first sign of anxiety ***There are many very important subjects not being taught in the Christian Community, many being taught incorrectly based on false beliefs, and some beliefs that are completely made up and have no mention whatsoever in the Bible. This is very serious, please share with your family and friends. Today, I want to talk about God's perfect timing. God's timing can be frustrating for us, and that is how we usually talk about it, but I was thinking about it in a more positive light. I started to write this episode and then God decided to teach me another lesson about His perfect timing, so I will share with you what I learned this week along with my previous thoughts.“...when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” (Matt 14:22-31)The story of the birth of Christ as recorded in the Book of Mormon: (3 Nephi 1:8-13)“they did watch steadfastly for that day and that night and that day which should be as one day as if there were no night, that they might know that their faith had not been vain.9 Now it came to pass that there was a day set apart by the unbelievers, that all those who believed in those traditions should be put to death except the sign should come to pass, which had been given by Samuel the prophet.10 Now it came to pass that when Nephi, the son of Nephi, saw this wickedness of his people, his heart was exceedingly sorrowful.11 And it came to pass that he went out and bowed himself down upon the earth, and cried mightily to his God in behalf of his people, yea, those who were about to be destroyed because of their faith in the tradition of their fathers.12 And it came to pass that he cried mightily unto the Lord all that day; and behold, the voice of the Lord came unto him, saying:13 Lift up your head and be of good cheer; for behold, the time is at hand, and on this night shall the sign be given, and on the morrow come I into the world, to show unto the world that I will fulfill all that which I have caused to be spoken by the mouth of my holy prophets.” Perfect timing is a tender mercy of the Lord.“behold, I ... will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance.” (1 Nephi 1:20)“Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.” (Moroni 10:3) Support the show (https://getchagoingdigital.com/index.php/send-a-senator-a-prayer-rock-2/)

We all have such busy lives, and we are surrounded by so many distractions. And our lives are changing so much these days. I feel like it is harder to anticipate what's coming next. That just means we need prayer more than ever before.
