Keanu Reeves to play Batman in comedy film DC League of Super-PetsThe latest trailer for the upcoming animated comedy film DC League of Super-Pets has revealed that Keanu Reeves has been added to the cast as the dark knight, Batman. He will join an ensemble that already boasts Dwayne ‘the Rock' Johnson as Krypto the Superdog, Kevin Hart as Ace the Bat-Hound, John Krasinski as Superman, and also features Marc Maron, Kate McKinnon, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz, and Jameela Jamil. The film will hit theaters on May 20th. Will Smith to return in I am Legend sequel A sequel to the hit 2007 post-apocalyptic zombie film, I am Legend is in the works at Warner Bros. The sequel will also feature Creed and Black Panther star Michael B Jordan. Akiva Goldsman has been roped in to write the script for the film. Nayanthara, Jayam Ravi, to reunite for Ahmed's psychological thriller Actor Jayam Ravi is set to collaborate with director Ahmed for an upcoming psychological thriller with Nayanthara set to play the lead in the film. The Batwoman TV series is on the horizon, so Andrew, Mick and Rob thought it would be interesting to explore the character's rather strange history, and in order to do that we have to go back to the original Batwoman, which isn't the current Batwoman. It was mainly Andrew's idea. With a confusing cast of characters that includes the original Batwoman, Bat-girl, the current Batwoman, Batgirl (not a typo), Batman, Robin, the other Robin, Robin who used to be Batgirl, Superman, Superboy who grew up to be Superman, Bat-Mite, Ace the Bat-Hound, Krypto the Super-Dog, Supergirl, and Comet the Super-Horse (who is officially the worst), it's time to get a nice ball of string and head to the crazy wall. After sanity returns it's time for us to talk about the things we've been reading, which this week are Aliens: The Essential Comics Volume 1 (Outbreak, Nightmare Asylum and Earth War), Aliens: Dust To Dust, Mind MGMT by Matt Kindt, the second volume of Aposimz by Tsutomu Nihei, and X-Men: Black.
