The Christopher Nolan celebration march rolls on through July as the lads gather to talk a little more temporal architecture, before the Short Short Film Film Review takes a turn for the pitch-black and deeply uncomfortable. This week, we're dissecting The Disappearance of Willie Bingham, a gruesome Australian short that takes a chilling, bureaucratic look at capital punishment. Will Andy, Ash, and Stu find a brilliant piece of speculative fiction, or will this escalating surgical nightmare leave them entirely squeamish? Then, the Cruise cruise drops anchor in the hyper-connected, emotionally raw valley of Paul Thomas Anderson's Magnolia. Tom steps into the leather vest of Frank T.J. Mackey—a toxic, leather-clad, respect-the-cock motivational guru that stands as arguably the most explosive, dick-obsessed role of his entire career. Your boys are diving deep into structural overlapping, torrential frogs, and whether Tom's devastating breakdown by his father's bedside earns him the ultimate praise. With the usual blend of silliness, seriousness, and a highly necessary Scientology Watch check-in, it's time once again to take Cruise Control.

From the catastrophic lets-downs that broke our hearts to the essential comedies actually worth your time—and the horror gems you desperately need on your radar—the lads are charting the highs, the lows, and everything in between from the year so far.To cleanse the palate, the Short Short Film Film Review kicks off a month-long celebration of Sir Christopher Nolan that will carry us all the way through July. We're dissecting Doodlebug, the gritty 1997 micro-short that launched us into the mind-bending filmography of cinema's favorite temporal architect to see where the magic truly began. Then, the Cruise cruise sails into arguably the most intense waters of Tom's career as we approach the end of the 90s with Stanley Kubrick's psychological labyrinth, Eyes Wide Shut. Masked rituals, marital paranoia, and meticulous direction. Will your boys find enlightenment in the shadows, or will this erotic thriller leave us completely cold? With the usual blend of silliness, seriousness, and a crucial Scientology Watch update, it's time once again to take Cruise Control.

Contracts, conscience, Kwan, and one of the most quotable rom‑com‑sports‑drama hybrids ever made — will the lads still feel the magic, or does Jerry's mission statement fall flat in 2024?With the usual blend of silliness, seriousness, and a crucial Scientology Watch update, it's time once again to take Cruise Control.

Should cruise control be banned? Anna's new car has it and she doesn't know if she loves it or is terrified by it. Probably a mix of both. A mathematician who was correct with his last three predictions for winner of the World Cup speaks out on the country he believes will win this year! And of course, the Simpsons. Fathers takes a saying... and runs with it. Once they start forgetting about it, we start saying it! Kids pick up their fathers' phrases so let's hear them! What's something your dad used to say that you say now?  What is worse than seeing your bucket list and when it's suddenly too late. Now, we have to sign when they run out of breath on their farewell tour? Raven saw ACDC, and he wishes he could time travel 15 years back. Were you mad, sad, or glad this weekend? Anna, Raven Producer Justin and Producer Sophia share... three glads and a mad this weekend, seems like a pretty good turn out! Its a couples court follow up! Suspicious nighttime activity at the neighbor's house turned out to be something they would have never guessed.  We surprised by Raven with a 50th birthday party this weekend. Lots and lots of swears. But regardless, lots of eras of friends, and a 6 month later celebration.  Is Anna Zap out of line? Her friends have been coming to her with her ideas for starting podcasts or becoming online influencers. Anna says NO. Keep your job itll never work. She's just honest... right?  Stephanie has “proof" that her boss has been stealing from the company. They work for a midsize company that sells jewelry. She thinks her boss has been taking inventory and somehow fudging the numbers. She wants to go to the Vice President of the company to tell him. Her husband, Jake, says, snitches get stitches, and to mind her business. Plus, her boss lets her leave early whenever she needs to and always advocates for her when it comes to raises. Why would she jeopardize that? She says it's just not right. She has to speak up. What would you do? Chris has a chance to win $3,200! All he has to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can't Beat Raven!

The planet Nullia has persisted for generations with little outside influence. Whispers of an "Imperium" are just rumors. If you can meet her price in time, that is. session advertisement for the 2025 RinCon Tabletop Gaming Convention Setup Welcome to the newest campaign by Dicey Stories! Rogue Trader: Escape from Nullia is a tabletop roleplaying campaign set in the universe of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K. It takes its inspiration from the WH40K Rogue Trader video game from Owlcat Games. Our characters start as nobodies, but they are ambitious seekers of knowledge and authority who will do what they must to survive. The release of each episode's audio will be accompanied by a serialized, narrative write-up of the adventure. So give a listen, read along, or enjoy both formats! Rogue Trader: Escape from Nullia is played using the Genesys roleplaying system now published by Edge Studio and the Mythic GM Emulator by Tana Pigeon. Our main resources for this campaign are the Genesys Core Rulebook and Shadow of the Beanstalk. We sometimes reference fanmade WH40K supplements such as Dark Heresy from Hoob and Rogue Trader Genesys from Anthony Arcarola, as well as Environmental Set Pieces from Kainrath, a supplement for Genesys's older sibling, the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. (For other examples of us combining Genesys with the Mythic GM Emulator, see our Resh Hour and Cruise Control campaigns.) Background If you know nothing about Warhammer 40K or Rogue Trader, that's fine! Neither did I prior to starting this game. But if you do know this IP, don't worry; Danielle is quite familiar with the universe from reading novels, playing the Rogue Trader video game, and listening to the Valentyne Heresy actual play from Dumb Dumbs and Dice. This campaign started as a one-shot prepared for the Southern Arizona Gamers Association's 2025 RinCon Tabletop Gaming Convention. Danielle ran it a total of three times in that format, and the story wrapped up in four hours. Once she and I began playing it using the Mythic GM Emulator, however, it spun off in a completely different direction and took on a life of its own. Our PCs started as pre-gens that Danielle made for her module, so they had less personalization than the PCs from some of our recent campaigns. After playing for a little while, we made some adjustments to the characters to suit our liking and then continued on from there. The write-ups of this campaign will primarily be from Timon's perspective, with occasional annotations from Corille.

Is Cardiff City's immediate return to the Championship an inevitability? The Bluebirds are now 10 points clear of the League One play-off places after a comfortable midweek win over Barnsley, prompting comparisons with Birmingham's march to the title last season.Life is far harder for Newport County, who failed to build on the feelgood factor of a rare win on Saturday by losing to fellow strugglers Accrington Stanley on Tuesday. Manager Christian Fuchs might insist his team are not in a relegation battle, but the coming games - starting with Bristol Rovers - could define their whole season.Wrexham showed their winning mentality with two added time goals to snatch a win at Queens Park Rangers that lifts them to the top six in the Championship for the first time this season. But an inexplicable handball and a missed open goal continued Swansea City's away woes. And Iwan and Sam share their Welsh Cup memories as the competition reaches the last eight - with several lower league clubs dreaming of lifting the cup and booking an unforgettable ticket to Europe.

You can care too much and it can break you. That's one of the many leadership lessons Matt Delhougne shares in this episode. From police officer to running a 70-agent team in St. Louis closing nearly 1,000 deals a year, Matt has seen it all and survived it. James and Keith sit down with the Chief Vision Officer of DRG at eXp to unpack everything from burnout and broker models to MLS politics, Google's property data play, and the two tools that truly matter for agent success. They also dive into his unique zip-code based lead rotation system, team culture, agent recruitment, the illusion of control, and how agents can actually crack the SOI code (hint: it's not what your broker told you). This one's a masterclass in sustainable scale, servant leadership, and leading with heart without losing your mind. Give your clients the competitive edge with Zillow's Showcase. Discover how this exclusive, immersive media experience—featuring stunning photography, video, virtual staging, and SkyTour—helps agents drive more views, saves, and shares. In this episode of the Wine and Gold Talk podcast, host Ethan Sands and guest Spencer Davies break down why Cleveland's habits, effort level and approach simply don't match the expectations of a team that talks about contending but hasn't proven anything yet. It's a conversation built around what the Cavs need to fix before it's too late. They take a hard look at Sunday's loss to the Celtics. But they also delve into the bigger picture. The recurring slow starts, the lack of urgency from star players and the uncomfortable truth that the team's energy is often coming from its youngest, least-paid players. Sands and Davies examine why the Cavs' current mindset is dangerous — and how the same bad habits that show up in December become the reasons you get humbled in April and May. While Russians are suggesting no attack was intended, Poland has invoked Article IV of the NATO Treaty and worked with allied NATO aircraft to shoot the drones down. What might be happening here? And does it mean we're on our way to World War III as some are suggesting?“Bibi is a Killer Negotiator. No, Wait—Switch That.” Within days of the Trump administration tabling another ceasefire proposal—and, by some accounts, making progress in pressuring Hamas to accept it—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorized a set of missile strikes that killed the leaders of Hamas's political wing in nearby Qatar. It's the first such move in a Gulf country, many of which have moved towards normalization with Israel through the Trump-backed Abraham Accords. What explains Israel's actions? And what do they portend for the conflict in Gaza and the region as a whole?“Cruise Control.” A week has passed since the Trump administration took the controversial step of targeting a boat alleged to be smuggling narcotics at the direction of the Venezuelan criminal organization Tren de Aragua with lethal force. The Trump administration hasn't repeated the move, but it's said it intends to. And U.S. military assets—including strategic assets whose use in a counter-narcotics military campaign is far from clear—have continued to build up in the region, leading some to believe that a broader campaign against Venezuela itself may yet be in the offing. How likely is a broader campaign? And could its implications be, legally and politically? In Object Lessons, Ben is cheering on a cadre of former FBI agents suing Kash Patel over their firings, and in the process, sings the praises of an accidental hero—the “Drizz.” Natalie, meanwhile, gets très littéraire with “The Elegance of the Hedgehog,” by Muriel Barbery—a book so French that almost nothing happens. Scott rang in his 8th wedding anniversary the traditional way: getting drunk in the basement and falling in love all over again—with The Paper.
