Black cats, knocking on wood and crossing your fingers are common superstitions. Today is Friday the 13th and we take a deep dive into these beliefs. Steve Joordens, Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough, joins the show to share a bit of history behind this lore and why so many humans are superstitious.
