Growing up as a Pastors Kid automatically comes with labels. We talk with Becky Green about how the masks you put on while living in a proverbial “Glass House” can never lead to the life God can give you if you trust him. Defying others expectations and grasping on to God’a love can change church from a place of tension to a place of hope.

Becky Green, MA, Speech-Language Pathologist wants to help parents get to the root of their child's picky eating. Many parents who want to adopt a plant-based lifestyle are fearful of how to feed their children who limit their diets to processed foods. For these children, eating something green instead of their usual cheese pizza or goldfish crackers might seem impossible. For parents who are following a vegan diet but still can't get their kids to try actual vegetables, there is hope! There can be many reasons behind picky eating. Working with other healthcare professionals, Becky helps parents uncover the reasons behind their child's feeding challenges. The goal is to eat more of those fresh and fibrous fruits and vegetables. Becky received her Masters degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and has since taken additional training in orofacial muscle function (myofunctional) therapy and feeding therapy. She is trilingual and works with patients in Portuguese and Spanish. When not working, Becky loves experimenting with plant-based recipes (Dr. Greger's new cookbook being one of her favorites) and rock climbing with her husband.
