Down and Nerdy is a podcast by nerds for nerds! Host James Witham talks movies, TV, comics, video games and more from nerd culture! New Episodes uploaded each week! NOTE: Podcast episodes may contain strong and/or suggestive language not appropriate for all ages. Please be advised.
The Down and Nerdy Podcast is an absolute gem for fans of various shows, comics, and movies. As a fan myself, I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the fantastic interviews with my favorite characters from beloved shows and comics. It's refreshing to hear from the actors behind these characters and to keep up with all the happenings in the world of pop culture. The podcast is highly entertaining and I would highly recommend it to any fellow fan.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the diverse range of guests that the hosts bring on every week. It's fascinating to hear from creators and actors about their creative process and their upcoming projects. The interviews provide insight into the world of nerdom and give fans a deeper understanding and appreciation for their favorite shows and comics. Additionally, the hosts have wonderful chemistry with each other, creating an enjoyable back-and-forth dynamic that keeps listeners engaged.
While there are many great aspects to this podcast, one minor downside could be the occasional focus on hate comments or negativity towards voice actors or certain characters. While it may be interesting to discuss differing opinions, it's important to maintain respect for those involved in creating these characters and shows. However, this is only a small aspect of an otherwise fantastic show.
In conclusion, The Down and Nerdy Podcast is a must-listen for any fan of pop culture. From insightful interviews with industry professionals to discussions about current news in nerd culture, this podcast has something for everyone. Its entertaining format and engaging hosts make it stand out among other podcasts in its genre. Give it a listen - you won't be disappointed!

This week, we would like to introduce you to Thanks For Coming In, another podcast distributed by Realm. Jamie McShane talks "Wednesday", acting for the long haul, and that time a casting director didn't mean to call him in! About Jamie: Jamie McShane stars in Tim Burton's smash-hit Netflix series Wednesday. The show spins off the iconic Addams Family series, following Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) and is written by Al Gough & Miles Millar. Jamie plays Sheriff Galpin, who has a vendetta against the Addams family. Jamie is often recognized for his role as Eric O'Bannon in Netflix thriller Bloodline (from Damages creators Glenn Kessler, Daniel Zelman & Todd A. Kessler), starring alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Kyle Chandler and Sissy Spacek. He played the long-time friend and partner-in-crime of "Danny" (Mendelsohn). Learn more about your ad choices.
