Between Ourselves is an Irish duo based in Waterford, consisting of Davin Coady and Geoff Foley. Starting with a debut EP on RePublik Music Recordings which includes a stunning remix from Innervisions artist Aera, and a following EP out on Galaktika Records, the lads have gone on to release music on labels such as, Engrave Ltd the notorious Italian label run by Musumeci & Dodi Palese, No Way Records, Addicted Music and Dance Artifakts. 2018 also saw their debut vinyl release on Berlin based label Best Works Records run by Andre Lodemann & Daniel Best, which includes a punchy edit from Andre himself and a monstrous remix from Berlin based producer Ruede Hagelstein. The duo have gained massive support locally and globally within the last 3 years with the likes of Dixon, Ame, Frankey & Sandrino, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Mano le Tough, The Drifter, Job Jobse, Kris Davis and many more displaying their music on dance floors worldwide. ENJOY! **INTERVIEW WITH ANDRE LODEMANN** BSU > Hi Andre, how are you? I am ready for a holiday as I had a lot of work to do both creative and administrative preparing my album "Fragments" on Best Works Records which is to be released in may 2012. BSU > You have a number of projects constantly on the go, such as running the Best Works label and producing solo material... how did you first get involved in the industry? If I am honest I started my career playing trance records in the early 90ies :) and then moving on to hip hop and finally house... BSU > What is your most memorable experience of your career so far? My most memorable moment was 1995 buying records in London. the stores in London had a totally different music selection compared to the stores in Berlin. The day I came back from London I played all the fresh tunes on a party in Frankfurt/Oder and the crowd went mad. The tune of the night was "Everybody be somebody" from Ruffneck. BSU > What inspires you? Everything that touches me in my life from bad weather to very personal emotions. BSU > In your mind, is there one album that you feel everyone should listen to at some point in their life and what is it?
