We start this week's episode addressing the situation that unfortunately took place over the weekend involving two students, one of whom is a member of the CMU Football family. Our thoughts and prayers are with John Keller and his family as we support them during this difficult time. Coach also touches on the conclusion of spring practice as well as transitioning into May, which gives the players some time to refocus and recharge, and sees the coaching staff focused on recruiting and early film breakdown of next year's opponents. Our guest this week is third year defensive line coach Justin Hinds(21:00). Coach Hinds is experiencing the joys of fatherhood, as he and his wife welcomed a baby girl who is now just over four weeks old. He also touches on what's cooking on his grill, as well as takeaways from spring ball for his position group. Enjoy this episode and make sure to check back in every Tuesday for more new episodes.

On this episode, Adam and Coach begin the show talking about the onboarding process for the freshman class. This group arrived on campus this past week and the coaches and staff have wasted no time getting them integrated into the program and culture. Excitement is building with fall camp right around the corner. Later in the show, the two are joined by Plas Presnell(20:21). Plas has served the program in a variety of different roles, going back to 1978 when he was hired by Herb Deromedi as a Graduate Assistant. Plas coached almost every position on the field throughout his time with the program, and was the first Director of Football Operations in the history of the program. He served in that role until his retirement in 2014, and his son Ben is the program's current DFO(Ben was a previous guest on the podcast, you can catch his interview in Episode 9). Plas touches on his favorite memories and how the program has changed throughout his time with CMU Football. Enjoy this episode and check back in every Thursday for more new episodes!
