Gregr literally left a wedding to come blather on about Japan. Sorry in advance for the sound quality - the host is using airpods from a hotel in Kyoto and if there's one thing we usually do well, it's get the sound right so this is a bummer. Anyway, we found a new category for Duolingo to invest in, but will it get Gerg sex?

Remember, two s's - like strawberry shortcake -  is dessert. We're not arguing for chocolate covered tuna belly (though are we really opposed to that?) Funny how after the fact we can't remember anything we talked about like for instance how we came up with a new cosplay for Ceej! He also has a new call sign so that's pretty important. Gregr needs a pipe, Branden's dying for some "fine dining," and we figured out a bucket-related sponsor for Gravy's podcast garage! Wow, we remembered more than assumed!

If certain skin on your body is as sensitive as inside of your mouth then why wouldn't you choose warm over cold water to cleanse yourself? It's a valid question and one Gregr can't explain but we need to trust him. We found the worst person to sit next to on the airplane! This week we prepare for a our annual trip to Kent to soak up the nerdiest of atmospheres in a room full of Transformers fans, it's CybFest NW 2023. CybFest - the celebration of Cybertron the home planet of the Transformers - is an awesome chance to see people, toys, and artists from some of the most sincere and hardcore fans and a generally excellent chill time. Lots of rocket talk as Gregr joins the show from Orlando waiting between launch windows for the newest and biggest rocket ever built by NASA, the Space Launch System (SLS). Because of the holiday, this was recorded before we knew that the 2nd attempt was scrubbed off making Gregr's trip to Florida a very expensive alligator sight seeing trip...

Big pod question: if Brad Bradsmith/Bradsith was a jedi, what color lightsaber would that dude swing? He's been an incredible defender but the dude also rockets in offensive crosses like crazy. Also, MLS - unless your goal is to get everyone diamond status - you need to chill on the cross country schedule! For the second time this season, Sounders FC has three matches in a week including a long trip to Philadelphia over the weekend. Orlando in town on a Wednesday means that team came from Atlanta to Seattle before jumping back on a plane for Orlando! Quick pod as it's just Gregr while Branden moves and doesn't have a studio!

Yo - i goofed up and uploaded raw audio instead of the finished product. My bad - please disregard the other file. This week its 100% on me! -Gregr. It was a massive week for Seattle Sounders FC… U-17 who won the Generation Adidas Cup. The opposite can be said for first team Sounders FC who went to LA for a tan and came home with a BURN. Branden gives us a taste of merry ol’ England with his adventure to see Premier League action between two teams with nothing on the line. Plus, we’re raising someone from the dead and bringing someone else home from a deserted island!

Alyssa Page grew up in Connecticut, found her way on to the radio by doing everything. Then worked her ass off to get to Atlanta and then a dream position on the legendary 107.7 The End in Seattle. This podcast marks the third member of the radio station to appear on the podcast, and with good reason. The station is oft quoted as one other station's could look to for innovative and brilliant ideas. So what's it like to work there? Alyssa answered those questions along with sharing some of her interview strategies, show prep tactics and what she does when she is not on air. Alyssa and I met back in 2016 at the Conclave and every year she is a joy to see again. The excitement in her eyes was infectious as she told me she has just landed her dream job in Seattle, and in the subsequent years, had been elevated to the midday show. We spoke about the importance of networking, and what attending the Conclave has meant to her career. She also gives back by volunteering on the Conclave committee to put on a great event every year. Ever since Gregr got back from Europe, someone left the hamstring ripper plugged in. We're not saying it was him, but also, pretty big coincidence... Seattle is still one foot in on the playoffs hokey pokey, but they've got many fans (us) worried. The word "turd" gets thrown around alot and we replace a camel with a zebra. Also there's a match this weekend with a very bad team.

The last time Gregr podcasted was Freddy Montero still a Sounder? Seattle has gone 9 (8) straight without dropping a point yet somehow are in a worse position than when we last cast... curious.

Gregr and Branden are pretty sure sports would be better with steroids, or at least an NBA Jam version of soccer. Also, you can't lose if you don't play, right?
