Not THAT Nerd Talk+, the other one! Branden and Ceej are left to their own devices as Gregr and Gravy head home early from the slumber party. Our Littlest and Biggest boy recap a few highlights to Branden's Birthday Bonanza, including the Guess Who's Coming To Dinner: Ceej's Version, all while discovering the from Train Adjacent Train Car Diner to Garbage B. Goat, Spokane is just one Big B. Bird. - Programming note: Gerg here and I've never been more excited to listen to an episode of my own show!
If you haven't planned anything yet, Branden has a pretty solid suggestion to make it a great (weird) Father's Day for that middle aged podcasting dad in your life! Gregr (and his dumb name) has a new set of dating guidelines and it involves the word tramp but in a good way! Plus, a whole new segment of This Week in Blimp! Follow along at nerdtalkplus.com
Gregr literally left a wedding to come blather on about Japan. Sorry in advance for the sound quality - the host is using airpods from a hotel in Kyoto and if there's one thing we usually do well, it's get the sound right so this is a bummer. Anyway, we found a new category for Duolingo to invest in, but will it get Gerg sex?
Remember, two s's - like strawberry shortcake - is dessert. We're not arguing for chocolate covered tuna belly (though are we really opposed to that?) We love you for listening and we're working on taking ownership of the episode comments on Spotify so keep 'em coming because they make us so happy even when they make Gregr cry.
Funny how after the fact we can't remember anything we talked about like for instance how we came up with a new cosplay for Ceej! He also has a new call sign so that's pretty important. Gregr needs a pipe, Branden's dying for some "fine dining," and we figured out a bucket-related sponsor for Gravy's podcast garage! Wow, we remembered more than assumed!
If certain skin on your body is as sensitive as inside of your mouth then why wouldn't you choose warm over cold water to cleanse yourself? It's a valid question and one Gregr can't explain but we need to trust him. We found the worst person to sit next to on the airplane! And even if you prefer ranch to blue cheese, how could they do everyone dirty like this?! Ep 302
Branden is off saving his children from death or something, but Gregr wanted to see Ceej's new robot body and neck hole... what a sentence. We're about to start season three of this show and there's a lot to kick around in how we're gonna run it. Does it need another person? Does it need more robot sound effects? Hoping to officially kick off season three next week! Ep 300
After the celebration of all things Branden, Gregr screwed up the schedule and we have no Branden again! Focus your brainwaves we've got weird adult toy news like we're in the times of Demolition Man. We're not letting the robots pick the music from TikTok for you, and quite the review this week!
We're getting Mt Dew drunk this week on Nerd Talk! Seriously, has anyone tried this hard dew? Gregr's voice is dead, Branden might actually be dead for all we know, so it's basically Ceej running the show from here on out! Thanks as always for making us part of your busy life.
This week we prepare for a our annual trip to Kent to soak up the nerdiest of atmospheres in a room full of Transformers fans, it's CybFest NW 2023. CybFest - the celebration of Cybertron the home planet of the Transformers - is an awesome chance to see people, toys, and artists from some of the most sincere and hardcore fans and a generally excellent chill time. Hope to see you there! An apology is due to everyone, we're very sorry to not have made new content recently. Gregr has been moving and life has been challenging without the home studio and so thank you for hanging out and letting us get our isht together. Also, ep 216 somehow never made it to the podcast, so we'll drop that in a couple days, out of order or course.
Well, this got loaded wrong by our idiot producer (Gregr) and so you get two episodes this week!
This episode, while Branden-less, brings back a favorite of the show, sports PR powerhouse Jose Moreno. Jose has been chirping at Gregr to get pitchside and take some photos like a real journalist. The conversation touches on a rough season from the perspective of a professional (Jose) vs that of the fan (Gregr). It's such a fun talk with the drums of ECS beating in the background, interruptions by scored goals, and a whole lot of photo taking. Thanks for checking us out and mega thanks to Jose for being such an ambassador for the city of Seattle. Lots of rocket talk as Gregr joins the show from Orlando waiting between launch windows for the newest and biggest rocket ever built by NASA, the Space Launch System (SLS). Because of the holiday, this was recorded before we knew that the 2nd attempt was scrubbed off making Gregr's trip to Florida a very expensive alligator sight seeing trip...
Manley has the wisest advice for Gregr's trip to Florida. Also, the fight that almost was and by the rules of RRR thank goodness was not!
Long-time dummies will recognize just how incredible this is - but we managed to stay on topic for the entire time we talked. One topic?!? It must be about us...
Gregr and Branden are finally back after a holiday and a long bout of that fancy new covid strain - but don't worry, they get straight into tentacle talk #TentacleTalk and on the internet #TentacleTok. Join us live on the Audacy app every Tuesday morning at 10am pterodactyl daylight time for a new episode!
After almost 3 years away (and a few refresher episodes to work out the tech) we're back with new material. In the three years a lot has changed and anyone who still has us subbed - WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! Thank you for waiting this long. We promise to only do this for us and ignore your suggestions unless they make us laugh and then we'll probably get your name wrong when giving you a shout out - sup dummy.
Hope you're not wearing a shirt because after a month away we've got weird nipple stuff to take care of today. It's Gregr's favorite time of the soccering year and Branden's welcome back his annual mustache to celebrate! Also, pretty sure an F-bomb got by the keeper at some point... full90podcast.com to link up! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
This show is the silliest, please don't let this be the first thing you listen to! Also, Gregr is quite sick for this episode so bring on some crappy voice!
Which animal's feet would you want transplanted onto your inferior legs? Is Pete Davidson rich (this leads to Branden delivering a subtle sick burn on Gregr)? There's a robot goat now - don't let it near the Dinobots.
It's a momentous episode where Gregr can't catch a break from a spitting hot Branden! Yes there's whale talk but this week we're getting glasses for sharks, we miss the Mark with Meta, and we meet a fry cooking robot. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We’re back, and we’re so sorry. We finally found the megazord of Branden and Gregr’s favorite sports (and the athletes even look like Power Rangers), plus we prove just how little we know about what happened in the Sounders offseason! God I hope we bleeped everything. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
King of the Mountain Sounders FC made the playoffs for the 12th time in 10 years playing against Vancouver Montero in Portland (past Branden and Gregr are very confused). FIFA 21 is ALL OVER THE PLACE with their characters, but at least they got the neck tattoos right (and oo la la Cristian Roldan can GET IT). Also, we have a website now so @ us next time - full90podcast.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Two games into the tournament (or one if you’re Gregr) and we learned a few things. Mainly, MLS is crap, white shirts are see-through when wet #FreeTheNip, and we should all hold our ACLs a little more close. Dunking on MLS is still original and cool, right?
Staff Writer Kelly Servick joins host Sarah Crespi to talk about the ins and outs of coronavirus contact tracing apps—what they do, how they work, and how to calculate whether they are crushing the curve. Read all our coronavirus coverage. Edward Gregr, a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Resources, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, talks with Sarah about the controversial reintroduction of sea otters to the Northern Pacific Ocean—their home for centuries, before the fur trade nearly wiped out the apex predator in the late 1800s. Gregr brings a unique cost-benefit perspective to his analysis, and finds many trade-offs with economic implications for fisheries For example, sea otters eat shellfish like urchins and crabs, depressing the shellfishing industry; but their diet encourages the growth of kelp forests, which in turn provide a habitat for economically important finfish, like salmon and rockfish. Well, this was uploaded to the wrong feed so it never went live here. Good job, Gregr. We don’t know when we’ll soccer again, but we do know that Sumo has not, will not, and shant ever let us down. This week on Full 90 Sumo Time we talk favorite wrestlers in no particular order, why we should glorify their fatness, and we give the well deserved shoutouts to David’s mom, Dijanet.
I'm adding content as a means to keep our iTunes feed alive. This won't answer any questions. This isn't an episode. This is purely a need to create an "episode" to save the feed. Thanks -Gregr
The Sounders’ designated survivor Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez is the last forward left on the roster, and he’s our only hope as the Sounders host Whitecaps in the Chad Marshall Memorial Cup (He’s not dead, just dead to us). Now that he’s retired, can Gregr borrow his hamstrings for karate? Stefan Frei is amped after seeing Aerosmith in Vegas, let’s hope this weekend, he doesn't "...want to miss a thing.”
Big pod question: if Brad Bradsmith/Bradsith was a jedi, what color lightsaber would that dude swing? He's been an incredible defender but the dude also rockets in offensive crosses like crazy. Also, MLS - unless your goal is to get everyone diamond status - you need to chill on the cross country schedule! For the second time this season, Sounders FC has three matches in a week including a long trip to Philadelphia over the weekend. Orlando in town on a Wednesday means that team came from Atlanta to Seattle before jumping back on a plane for Orlando! Quick pod as it's just Gregr while Branden moves and doesn't have a studio!
Yo - i goofed up and uploaded raw audio instead of the finished product. My bad - please disregard the other file. This week its 100% on me! -Gregr. It was a massive week for Seattle Sounders FC… U-17 who won the Generation Adidas Cup. The opposite can be said for first team Sounders FC who went to LA for a tan and came home with a BURN. Branden gives us a taste of merry ol’ England with his adventure to see Premier League action between two teams with nothing on the line. Plus, we’re raising someone from the dead and bringing someone else home from a deserted island!
Alyssa Page grew up in Connecticut, found her way on to the radio by doing everything. Then worked her ass off to get to Atlanta and then a dream position on the legendary 107.7 The End in Seattle. This podcast marks the third member of the radio station to appear on the podcast, and with good reason. The station is oft quoted as one other station's could look to for innovative and brilliant ideas. So what's it like to work there? Alyssa answered those questions along with sharing some of her interview strategies, show prep tactics and what she does when she is not on air. Alyssa and I met back in 2016 at the Conclave and every year she is a joy to see again. The excitement in her eyes was infectious as she told me she has just landed her dream job in Seattle, and in the subsequent years, had been elevated to the midday show. We spoke about the importance of networking, and what attending the Conclave has meant to her career. She also gives back by volunteering on the Conclave committee to put on a great event every year. Please consider joining her and a few others who have also appeared on this podcast June 19-21 in Minneapolis. Of note, our main sponsors Promosuite will also be there. CJ & Rachel will be demonstrating some of their new products and it would be very much appreciated if you can thank them for keeping this podcast free to you every week. In this episode we spend time discussing the challenges involved with selling at a radio station in this digital revolution. His solution is rather simple: Stop Selling Radio. We discuss best practices for implementing new sales strategies, focus on some radio stations doing this right, and get slightly controversial (or innovative?) when it comes to selling podcasts. Radio may be going about it all wrong. Definitely subscribe to the Jacob's Media Daily Blog. Paul will also be honoured at the 44th Conclave in Minneapolis this June when he will be receiving the coveted Rockwell Award. Paul will also be the keynote lunch speaker at the Western Association of Broadcasters in early June. Paul also spoke glowingly about Seattle's 107.7 The End. 4-0 makes for a lot of silliness, so does Gregr drinking two beers before we start... The Bite of Seattle could take on a whole new meaning. Our new central defense pairing is out of this world. We're gonna need someone to make the dopest Full 90 Extra Time shirts of ever. Listen up! Shout out to Hugo for the help with the real time translations!
Gregr is back from weddings, honeymoon, and just a crazy trip to Japan. If the Sounders can walk away with a win on Sunday, he'll have everyone saying arigato gozaimasu! PS the "u" in gozaimasu is silent!
Ever since Gregr got back from Europe, someone left the hamstring ripper plugged in. We're not saying it was him, but also, pretty big coincidence... Seattle is still one foot in on the playoffs hokey pokey, but they've got many fans (us) worried. The word "turd" gets thrown around alot and we replace a camel with a zebra. Also there's a match this weekend with a very bad team.
The last time Gregr podcasted was Freddy Montero still a Sounder? Seattle has gone 9 (8) straight without dropping a point yet somehow are in a worse position than when we last cast... curious.
Gregr and Branden are pretty sure sports would be better with steroids, or at least an NBA Jam version of soccer. Also, you can't lose if you don't play, right?
A special Earth Day edition of Full 90 Extra Time where Gregr and Branden do nothing special for Earth day (but we did acknowledge some hot garbage). This episode we: Breaking down Nouhou's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Celebrate the first point (and GOALS!) of the season Preview the match against Minnesota and the evil Goal Scientist Recycle
Gregr is the morning show host at 107.7 The End in Seattle. Last summer at the Podcast Movement, Gregr shared the stage at Jacob's Media's Broadcaster meet Podcaster series. At dinner he had the deer in the headlights look. Turns out he had just became a dad for the first time days earlier. Throughout dinner we shared radio and podcast stories. I couldn't believe he had 4 podcasts on top of a morning radio show in Seattle. Now there were other people at dinner that night and we could have gone on forever talking podcast, radio and Seattle Sounders. So I told him we would finish the conversation on this podcast. What ensues is this conversation.Just a note that we did an episode about 107-7 the End's #2MinutePromise and talked Millennials with the station's program director Leslie Scott back in Episode 23. And again, in this show we will touch on the 2 minute promise and wonder why more stations don't do it.The podcast is sponsored by Promosuite.

Sheri Lynch bought her own show. Yes, I know that sounds really weird considering that her name is in the Marquee, but she essentially got tired of trying to manoeuvre her branding through radio station filters, that she take ownership of the whole thing. In this episode, Sheri will share the reasons why you might want to start down a similar road; or at the very least understand just what digital properties you own, and which one belong to your employer. The Bob and Sheri show is headquartered at the studios of WLNK 107.9 in Charlotte, and airs on great radio stations across the United States listed here - http://www.bobandsheri.com/where-listen Links to the thing I referred to in this show: The Bob & Sheri Homepage - http://bobandsheri.com Bob & Sheri Podcast - http://www.bobandsheri.com/bob-sheri-podcast Bob & Sheri's Oddcast - http://www.bobandsheri.com/oddcast Other podcasts I mentioned: Gregr from 107.7 The End in Seattle - http://www.1077theend.com/podcast/our-dumb-podcast Mike Carruthers - Something you Should Know - http://www.somethingyoushouldknow.net/ Sponsored by NLogic - http://bit.ly/2oLHQmQ.
