We didn't know if we were going to watch the World Series, but two-thirds of us are sure glad we watched last night's 18-inning classic between the Dodgers and Blue Jays. The other third is still really glad they haven't watched a second of it. The Seahawks and Commanders face off in Sunday Night Football and this isn't the same Commanders team we saw last year. It's time to talk College Football and the Huskies got a much-needed win over Illinois at home on Saturday. They're on bye next weekend and if they can win out, it's not out of the question to think that they could end up in the CFP. Meanwhile, Jedd Fisch bristled at the idea that he is looking elsewhere with the big program head coaching opportunities that are out there. He's earned the reputation, but we like seeing him scoff at the idea of leaving Montlake. Once again, college football is evolving and now coaches are getting fired and paid out by big donors when they aren't achieving the goal.
