Episode Title: Pesach Seder: Breakthroughs Instead of BreakdownsFor some, the Pesach Seder has been a difficult, challenging, or even boring experience. But what if it could be something more? In this conversation with my husband, Rabbi Schusterman, and Rabbi Shais Taub, we explore the deeper mindset behind the Seder—how to shift from feeling stuck in old narratives to creating new, positive experiences. We discuss how to approach the Seder with a fresh perspective, making it a time of connection, meaning, and even personal transformation. Instead of just going through the motions, let's discover how the Seder can become a moment of true breakthrough.Link for the recovery Hagadah: https://thejewishdepot.com/products/the-four-cups-a-recovery-haggadahRaizel Schusterman is a certified Positive Psychology practitioner and ICF-certified life coach. Tonight on our exploration of Maggid, the recitation of the Hagadah on the Night of Passover, we will begin with a deep story of the Baal Shem Tom, and try to understand the connection of the story to the nature and essence of Matzah, and its place in the history of Jewish people. This is a story that never ends.

Why did Hashem need 10 plagues—wouldn't one catastrophic plague have sufficed? What is the deeper meaning behind the 3 distinct sets of plagues we see in the Hagadah? And why does the Torah spend so much time on the details of each plague? This week's parsha raises profound questions about the nature of emunah, the path to personal growth, and Hashem's relationship with humanity. By exploring insights on the makkos, this podcast reveals timeless lessons about strengthening your emunah amidst life's plagues and passions. You'll discover how the structure of the 10 plagues contains eternal truths about the journey from impurity to purity, mind to heart to action. A great Mashal & Story is given as well to emphasize the concept. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/prismoftorah/message

This Night Shines Like The Day & Pirushim On Hagadah نکاتی در مورد סדר פסח و هگلدا پسخ by Rabbi Benjamin Lavian
Length: 1 hour 14 minutesSynopsis: This evening (3/29/23), in our Wednesday night Tefilah shiur, we "landed the plane" (as it were). The goal was to make this the last shiur in our current series on Shema Koleinu, no matter what. Because this was also our last shiur before Pesach, I decided to start and end with a Pesach-related point. We raised a question on the R' Yosi ha'Glili section of the Hagadah, in which the tannaim go out of their way to find allusions to extra miracles. We then reviewed what we covered last time, answered several more questions, and then learned the Malbim's beautiful interpretation of Tehilim 93:1, which we then used to refine our understanding of why we don't daven for miracles, and to answer our question on the hagadah. God willing, when we return after Pesach, we'll resume learning Tehilim.-----מקורות:מעשה ה' - הגדה של פסח: מגיד, כמה מעלות טובותמלבי"ם - תהלים צג:א -----The Torah content from now until Pesach has been sponsored by my friend and colleague, Rabbi Dr. Elie Feder, author of Gematria Refigured: A New Look At How The Torah Conveys Ideas Through Numbers. Length: 26 minutesSynopsis: This afternoon (3/9/23), in our Rambam Bekius mini-shiur, our goal was to cover all the halachos which the Rambam collectively refers to as "hagadah," so that we can get the big picture - and we did just that! Pesach | The Four Sons Revisited, by Rav Yitzchak Etshalom One of the most beloved and well-known passages in the Haggadah is the Midrash of the "Four Sons". We take a look at that Midrash "top-down," by first examining the context and text of the passages in the Torah and then suggesting what motivated the composer of the Midrash to create the four sons. We explore the variant versions of the Midrash, leading up to the popular version found in our Hagadah - and discover lots of surprises along the way. Source sheet >>
How Many Questions? Re-examining the Mah Nishtnah, by Rav Yitzchak Etshalom One of the most well-known and beloved passages in the Hagadah is the "Four Questions" - which are introduced with the line מה נשתנה הלילה הזה מכל הלילות. But are there really four questions here? Examining the sources, including variant versions of the Mishnah and a careful reading of that source, suggests that perhaps there are fewer questions here - perhaps 3, perhaps 1 - and perhaps none at all!
