With record amounts of rainfall this week in Massachusetts, Nuke and I decided to wait it out during a zero day in Lee. Once we got back on trail the following day, we had to cope with swollen stream crossings that soaked us, as well as paths that became streams. During all of this I managed to fall a couple of time, of course. Along the way, I chatted with Nat Geo, Dash, and the wonderful Renée. I'm using Polarsteps to record my AT thru-hike this year. If you'd like to follow my progress between episodes, as well as photos of my journey, please go to https://www.polarsteps.com/mightyblue and click on the follow button. I used my hike in 2024 on the South West Coast Path in the UK to help raise money for my absolute favorite charity, Parenting Matters, on whose board I've been privileged to serve for over a decade. You can learn more about the hike and the organization–and donate–by visiting Hike with Steve - Empowering Parents, One Step at a Time | Parenting Matters %. I hope you want to support this critical mission. Don't forget. Our entire series of videos from our Woods Hole Weekend in 2022 is now FREE and available at my YouTube page at Woods Hole Weekend - Trailer There, you'll find all sorts of tips and tricks that our guests took away from the weekend that helped them with their own hikes this year. Check it out. I often ask listeners for ideas on who to interview, and I'm sure several of you say, "I could do that. I've got an awesome story to tell." You're the person we need to hear from. If you'd like to be interviewed on the podcast, just register as a guest on the link below, and I'll be in touch. Come on the show! If you like what we're doing on the Hiking Radio Network, and want to see our shows continue, please consider supporting us with either a one-off or monthly donation. You'll find the donate button on each Hiking Radio Network page at Hiking Radio Network . Additionally, you can join our membership at Steve (Mighty Blue) Adams. It's worth checking out what is on offer for you there. If you prefer NOT to use PayPal, you can now support us via check by mailing it to Mighty Blue Publishing, 3821 Milflores Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573. Any support is gratefully received. Additionally, you can "Zelle" me a donation to steve@hikingradionetwork.com. Or "Venmo" me at @‌Steve-Adams-105. They both work! If you'd like to take advantage of my book offer (all three of my printed hiking books–with a personal message and signed by me–for $31, including postage to the United States) send a check payable to Mighty Blue Publishing at the address just above.

Send us Fan MailI'm back and this week I have been all over the phone getting tea.  We open with exclusive tea on Erika Jayne's son Tommy Zizzo that came from someone in his world — two things that I think are hilarious and completely telling at the same time. Then the Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley court war just escalated to a whole new level — I break down every new filing from both sides this week including what PK is claiming about Dorit's European trip, the kids' expired passports and the household expenses — and then Dorit fires back with PK's full spending breakdown... Then I have figured out who Dorit has been spending time with in Paris but why...Then the Kyle Richards deep dive on her first husband Gharash Al-Jufri — where he comes from, what his family really does and why I think Kyle leaving him may have scarred him in a way that is very telling to this day. Then Mauricio Umansky and Brandi Glanville on Special Forces together — and I have thoughts on what Brandi has been sitting on for years about Mauricio cheating that could make this one of the most interesting episodes of that show. Then I drop the first piece of my RHONJ tea — the Luis Ruelas situation has reached a level I have never heard before and people around him are being told something very specific right now. WHAT WE COVERProverbs 12 Part 2 begins with Movement Four and continues through the end of the chapter. This lesson reveals how speech, anger, testimony, truth, diligence, prudence, companionship, and repeated conduct expose what is governing the heart. We examine:What the mouth and the inner man returnHow words become fruit or a snareWhy the fool trusts his own judgmentHow anger reveals whether the spirit is governedThe difference between words that wound and words that healWhy truth remains while lies collapseWhat truth, diligence, and prudence establishHow repeated conduct becomes a settled conditionWhat the path leaves in the heart and lifeWhy the way of righteousness leads to lifeWHY THIS MESSAGE MATTERSProverbs 12 teaches that what leaves a person does not remain outside of him.Words return.Labor returns.Anger reveals the spirit.Testimony reveals character.Repeated conduct becomes the condition in which a person eventually lives. The wicked become filled with the mischief they practice, while truth, prudence, diligence, and righteousness establish a life that can remain. The chapter closes by showing that every repeated choice forms a path, and every path carries its walker toward an appointed end.SCRIPTURE REFERENCESProverbs 12:13-28Leviticus 19:11-18Deuteronomy 19:15-19Deuteronomy 30:15-20Proverbs 18:20-21Proverbs 19:11Proverbs 22:29Isaiah 50:4Zechariah 8:16-17ABOUT AHAVA ~ LOVE ASSEMBLYWe teach the pure Word of Yahuah. No religion. WHAT WE COVERNumbers 4 reveals that every burden connected to the dwelling of Yahuah had to be carried according to His exact command. We examine:The burden assigned to the sons of MerariWhy the boards, bars, pillars, sockets, pins, cords, and instruments had to be carried and accounted forWhy every man was appointed by name to a specific burdenHow Ithamar governed the service of Gershon and MerariWhy structural service was just as necessary as carrying the most holy thingsWhy no servant could choose his own assignmentHow every family was numbered according to its service and burdenWhy faithfulness is measured by obedience to the assignment Yahuah gaveIf we complete Numbers 4, we will begin Numbers 5 and examine how purity, restitution, and truth governed the camp where Yahuah dwelt.WHY THIS MESSAGE MATTERSNumbers 4, Part 1 established that the holy things could only be approached, covered, and carried according to the order of Yahuah.Part 2 reveals that the structure surrounding the holy things also required appointed men, exact oversight, and accountable service. The sons of Merari did not carry the Ark or the holy vessels, but their burden upheld the structure in which holy service could take place. No burden was unimportant. No assignment was self-appointed. Every servant, every instrument, and every responsibility was established by Yahuah Himself. The question is not whether our burden appears greater than another man's.The question is whether we will faithfully carry what Yahuah assigned to us.SCRIPTURE REFERENCESNumbers 4:29-49Numbers 3:33-37Numbers 7:6-9Exodus 26:15-30Exodus 27:9-191 Corinthians 12:12-27ABOUT AHAVA ~ LOVE ASSEMBLYWe teach the pure Word of Yahuah. No religion. Open Lines Discussion For Sunday, May 31, 2026Short SummaryThis was an open lines episode of The Space Show, hosted by David Livingston with participants including Marshall Martin, John Hunt, Dr. AJ Kothari, Philip Swan, and Bob Zimmerman. The main discussion centered on NASA's lunar payload delivery challenges after the New Glenn explosion, with Dr. AJ Kothari proposing Falcon Heavy as a solution to transport 1-7 tons to the lunar surface. The group discussed why innovative space ideas often fail to gain traction at NASA, citing factors like the “not invented here” syndrome, regulatory burdens on new companies, and patent/copyright issues. The conversation also covered Blue Origin's timeline for recovering from their recent explosion, with participants offering various estimates ranging from before year-end to potentially two to three years, depending on the extent of damage and investigation requirements.Detailed SummaryThe Space Show Wisdom Team discussed how NASA's payloads to the moon in 2026 are now at risk due to the New Glenn explosion, and proposed using Falcon Heavy as a solution. David expressed frustration about good space ideas not getting implemented, while Bob explained that NASA's resistance to new ideas and heavy regulatory burdens on new companies are significant obstacles. The discussion highlighted how SpaceX would need to work quietly with Falcon Heavy rather than publicly due to commercial considerations regarding Blue Origin.Dr. Kothari discussed NASA's “not invented here” syndrome and mentioned a potential introduction to SpaceX through Congressman Herodopoulos, though he expressed uncertainty about follow-through. The group discussed challenges with patents and copyrights affecting space projects, with Robert noting SpaceX's willingness to help competitors to avoid antitrust issues. Phil suggested thatAjay should use the Evidence Ledger platform to structure and validate his lunar transport claims before approaching SpaceX or NASA, which Dr. agreed to do. The conversation ended with a discussion about Blue Origin's timeline for returning to flight, where Marshall indicated that the exact timeline depends on the extent of damage to the launch pad and the extent to which it was designed to handle such issues. The group discussed the timeline for rebuilding Blue Origin's launch facility after a rocket explosion. David estimated delays could range from one to three years due to government investigations and Blue Origin's slow pace, while Marshall suggested it could be quicker if it was an engine failure. The team debated potential causes, with Marshall proposing a combustion chamber or rocket bell fracture as a possibility, and discussed implications for other rocket programs including Vulcan and Artemis. The conversation concluded without any evidence of sabotage being reported. The group discussed SpaceX's upcoming IPO, with participants expressing skepticism about the $2 trillion valuation due to operating losses and lack of revenue supporting the claims in the registration statement. John Jossy shared updates on the National Space Society's new cislunar space development goals, including efforts to create legal frameworks for space resource utilization and mining. The discussion concluded with concerns about the impact of Blue Origin's recent accident on the Artemis program, particularly regarding rocket capabilities and backup options for lunar missions. The team discussed the challenges and funding of rocket development, particularly focusing on Falcon Heavy and New Glenn. Dr. Kothari suggested that accidents could create opportunities for Congress to fund necessary modifications, while Marshall warned about the political challenges of securing such funding. The discussion explored whether government funding should support Blue Origin's New Glenn development, with John Jossy questioning whether federal money was needed given Bezos's personal wealth, and David suggesting that government mandates for regulatory or safety upgrades could provide a path for additional funding. The group discussed the competitive urgency around lunar missions, with David emphasizing the need to hurry due to China's upcoming lunar launch. They debated the status of Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket and its NASA contracts, with Dr. providing details about different Mark versions of the lunar lander. The conversation then shifted to SpaceX's recent Starship test flight incident, where they discussed the FAA's investigation and debated whether it would significantly impact SpaceX's development timeline, with Philip arguing that government regulations are generally designed to ensure safety rather than slow progress.Marshall discussed the booster issue, highlighting concerns about fuel sloshing and its potential impact, estimating an 8-week timeline for resolution. John Jossy supported the optimistic timeline, noting SpaceX's ability to iterate quickly, while Dr. expressed concerns about hot staging, explaining its mechanics and potential risks. Philip defended hot staging as a trade-off for efficiency, and John Hunt questioned its appropriateness for a reusable rocket. The discussion concluded with Dr. mentioning the pressure to advance quickly due to potential lunar missions by Chinese astronauts in 2027.The group discussed Pope Francis's recent encyclical on AI, with Phil sharing his interview experience about the Pope's concerns regarding AI development and public opinion on the topic. The discussion explored various regulatory challenges around AI, including questions about medical licenses, legal practice, and the need for human oversight of AI systems. The conversation concluded with updates about upcoming Space Show episodes, including a scheduled interview with Thomas Zurbuchen on June 22nd and discussions about potential delays to the Artemis III mission due to issues with the Vulcan rocket and BE4 engines.Special thanks to our sponsors:American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Helix Space in Luxembourg, Celestis Memorial Spaceflights, Astrox Corporation, Dr. Haym Benaroya of Rutgers University, The Space Settlement Progress Blog by John Jossy, The Atlantis Project, and Artless EntertainmentWe use Zoom phone numbers for program participation. For real time program participation, email Dr. Space at: drspace@thespaceshow.com for instructions and access. The Space Show is a non-profit 501C3 through its parent, One Giant Leap Foundation, Inc. This week we're picking up where we left off last week after I shared my own journey selling my condo in PR — and this time we're going deep on buying real estate on the island. I sat down with Krystal Vias, a proud Nuyorican and founder of Buy The Block PR, who's on a mission to reconnect la diáspora with Puerto Rico, one block at a time. Krystal didn't step foot on the island until she was 38 and that first trip changed everything. Now she's helping thousands of Boricuas navigate the confusing, often antiquated process of buying property back home, from finding trustworthy realtors to avoiding land scams. We get into the real talk: the identity crisis so many of us in the diaspora carry, conscious investing versus gentrification, and why speaking perfect Spanish is NOT a requirement for belonging. If you've ever thought about buying property on the island, this episode is your permission slip.WE GET INTO:00:00 – Intro: Welcome Krystal Viaz, founder of Buy The Block PR01:26 – Krystal's story: first trip to PR at 38 and falling in love with the island02:26 – Financial education roots + losing her brother-in-law to colon cancer04:49 – Why there's no Cash App or Zelle in PR (and why that's by design)06:44 – What Buy The Block PR actually offers07:40 – Krystal's podcast, By The Blockcast08:14 – Navigating identity: being "from here but also from there"10:34 – Dealing with backlash: "you're not really Puerto Rican"12:37 – Misconceptions about buying property (it's not just hopping on Zillow)13:44 – How to actually find listings on the island16:30 – Vetting real estate agents, lenders, and contractors18:43 – Common scams and red flags to watch for20:17 – The risks of buying land (inheritance issues, unpaved roads, protected land)22:27 – What you need financially before you start looking25:41 – Conscious investing vs. displacement and gentrification30:05 – Airbnb, tax incentives, and long-term rental income34:09 – Building remote income to fund the move37:24 – "Spanish shame" and the myth that fluency is required39:37 – Internal pressure vs. external validation of Latinidad41:25 – The history behind Puerto Rican migration policies43:41 – How to get involved with Buy The Block PR45:19 – Closing thoughts: ownership, privilege, and being about itKEY TAKEAWAYS:Puerto Rico doesn't have one central MLS like the mainland — off-market properties, Facebook groups, and word-of-mouth are huge parts of the processYou'll need a trusted, vetted local team (realtor, lawyer, mortgage broker) — and red flags include people who go dark on communicationLand purchases carry unique risks: unresolved inheritance issues, unpaved roads, no electrical/water access, and protected land you can't build onMainland buyers typically need a second-home loan (20% down) unless they can prove 2 years of remote or island-based incomeLong-term rental income in PR can be tax-free — a lesser-known incentive worth knowing aboutConscious investing means asking "how does this affect my neighbors and community?" — not just "what's my ROI?"Not speaking fluent Spanish does NOT disqualify you from reconnecting — the real barrier is internal permission, not languageCONNECT WITH KRYSTAL:Buy The Block PR Website: https://www.buytheblockpr.comBuy The Block PR Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/BuytheblockPRTAKE THE NEXT STEP WITH YO QUIERO DINERO:

Host: Dan Panetti   Last week we talked about the decision-making matrix - learning to LISTEN to God…and this week we turn our attention to the time before we make that decision - the preparation season, where we learn to wait on God as He leads and guides us! Interesting that there is a preparation time in Scripture - usually represented by the number 30, a season of maturity and growing. Scripture tells us in Luke 2:52 that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and with man in the time before he turned 30 years old and launched his public ministry. And several other prominent figures in Scripture had meaningful preparation times as well.   So, what should you be doing in your season of preparation? Discipleship - Titus 2 instructs the younger men to seek godly wisdom from older men, in your season of preparation, seek wisdom from godly counsel God's Word - deepen your knowledge of God through His Word - study, memorize, and meditate on God's Word Serve - preparation time isn't just “sitting on the sidelines” but is a time to grow and mature - serving others is such a great way for us to grow in the grace of the Lord who came not to be served, but to serve - follow His example! Pray - as you wait, you can get frustrated and anxious - share those feelings with the Lord and as you communicate with Him…He will share with you as well.   T4M guys - just a reminder that Training4Manhood is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) ministry and you can make donations either via Zelle (info@training4manhood.com) or by visiting the Training4Manhood website.

In this episode, we expose the horrifying crimes of Georgia Tann and the Tennessee Children's Home Society, an operation that kidnapped thousands of children, falsified birth certificates, erased family histories, and sold children to wealthy and influential families across the country. We examine Tann's network of judges, attorneys, politicians, doctors, and social workers, the suspicious timing of her death as the investigation closed in, and the institutional cover-up that allowed every major participant to escape prosecution. From a follower of Christ's perspective, this was more than child trafficking—it was a satanic assault upon the family, truth, identity, and generations of children severed from their God-given heritage.Closing Song: "Names They Stole"https://suno.com/song/c0b6978f-fae9-499a-bdbe-888f430f6f82Support us! The Space Show Presents Dr. Jim Green, Tuesday, July 7, 2026Short Summary:The Tuesday Evening Space Show featured Dr. James L. Green, former NASA chief scientist, who presented on the solar system's movement through different interstellar clouds and the potential effects on Earth's environment. Dr. Green discussed how our heliosphere is shrinking as we transition from the local interstellar medium to the G-cloud, which could impact cosmic radiation and space weather. He explained the concept of the Sun's galactic center Lagrange point (L1) at 3.8 light years away, where objects could potentially be captured by the Sun, and suggested this area could be important for future interstellar travel and resource utilization. The discussion covered how NASA's SLS rocket could deliver 20 metric tons to Mars and the importance of testing technologies incrementally before human missions. Participants explored philosophical questions about scientific knowledge and uncertainty, with Dr. Green sharing his personal perspective on faith and science.Detailed SummaryDr. James Green discussed his experience as NASA's Division Director of Planetary Science during a budget crunch in 2012, when the planetary science budget was proposed to be cut from $1.3 billion to about half that amount over five years. To address this challenge, Green decided to engage the public directly rather than relying on congressional hearings or industry lobbying, as he found those approaches ineffective. He worked with Kristen Erickson to develop outreach strategies, including broadcasting mission control activities to the public, which initially faced resistance from his supervisor Ed Weiler but ultimately led to public engagement efforts across NASA centers.Jim discussed his experience with the Curiosity rover mission, including a conversation with Ed about potential risks and the importance of public outreach. He explained how the mission faced delays and technical challenges before successfully landing, which gave him confidence in its readiness. Jim emphasized the importance of sharing scientific results with the public and outlined his work on planetary defense, including efforts to detect near-Earth objects and the creation of the Planetary Defense Office.Jim discussed the success of their kinetic impact project and its potential for hitting larger targets. David asked about public engagement, to which Jim responded that while he appears frequently in media, more outreach is needed, especially internationally where many countries lack aerospace education. Jim explained his work in metaverse education, having taught 5,000 students globally, and emphasized the importance of public understanding in science communication. The discussion then shifted to NASA's risk management approach, with Jim advocating for more frequent SLS rocket launches to build expertise and reduce costs, noting that SLS can deliver 20 metric tons to Mars compared to 2 metric tons with current rockets.Jim presented research on space weather and the heliosphere, explaining how Earth is transitioning from the local interstellar cloud to the G-cloud within a thousand years. He discussed the structure of the heliosphere, including its croissant-like shape and the importance of understanding cosmic weather as humans move through different galactic regions. Jim also highlighted the Sun's galactic center Lagrange point at 3.8 light years, explaining how this area could capture rogue planets and other objects passing through it.Jim explained that the solar system is transitioning from one galactic cloud into the denser G-cloud, which will cause the heliosphere to shrink to 5-10 AU and potentially trigger cosmic weather changes similar to those that may have caused Snowball Earth events millions of years ago. He discussed how advanced civilizations might use the minimum gravity region near the sun's L1 point as a strategic location for interstellar observation and travel, as it provides a stable orbit point that saves fuel while allowing observation of the solar system. Jim emphasized the need to study this region to understand potential hazards to Earth and develop gravity maps for future interstellar travel.Jim discussed the concept of Lagrange points in space, particularly focusing on how they could serve as meeting points for different civilizations and as locations where interstellar dust accumulates. He explained that this accumulated dust could be used as a resource through in-situ resource utilization, containing various materials including silicon, graphite, and radioactive elements. David reflected on the complexity of space exploration as an endless puzzle, to which Jim responded by explaining how science involves studying the nature of things through mathematical frameworks and laws, while acknowledging that new concepts like dark matter demonstrate how much remains unknown. The group discussed how scientific understanding evolves over time, with Jim sharing examples of Einstein's changing views on black holes and how newer theories build upon and modify previous ones. Marshall and John contributed insights about mathematical developments in physics, including Lagrange points and the correspondence principle where newer laws can approximate older ones. The discussion concluded with Jim reflecting on how science fiction has predicted real scientific advancements in his lifetime, from Star Trek's vision of space travel to current exoplanet discoveries and the potential for life on rogue planets.L1 Point Calculation DiscussionThe group discussed Jim's calculation of the L1 point at 3.8 light years from the sun, which included dark matter models from a peer-reviewed paper. Jim explained that if objects are found orbiting in circular patterns rather than moving through the galaxy, it would confirm the real solar L1 location. The conversation then shifted to personal beliefs about religion and science, with Jim sharing his perspective as an Episcopalian who finds faith provides peace despite not believing the Bible word-for-word.The group discussed dark matter, with John clarifying that gravitational effects lead to the inference of dark matter rather than the other way around. Jim explained that while dark matter must interact gravitationally, its exact particle nature remains unknown. The conversation then shifted to the G-Cloud, where Jim described how Earth might be affected by entering a denser cloud in 3,000 years, including potential changes to the heliosphere and increased space weather.Jim discussed the importance of understanding cosmic weather and its potential impact on exoplanets and Earth's atmosphere, particularly referencing Mars' lost atmosphere and historical space weather events like the Carrington event. He emphasized that scientists need to consider planets in the context of their galactic environment rather than isolating them from cosmic influences. Jim also mentioned his ongoing analysis of Mars data to better understand the effects of interstellar medium exposure on planetary environments.Jim shared his experience as a retired NASA scientist and discussed his current work in metaverse education, where he creates immersive experiences for students to explore space missions and lunar environments using Oculus headsets. He explained that NASA has developed the technology needed to land humans on Mars, specifically highlighting the Hypersonic Aeroshell and Inflatable Decelerator (HIAD) system that can deliver 20 metric tons of cargo and enable landing in a wider range of locations than current aeroshells. Jim outlined a step-by-step approach following Apollo's incremental learning model, including testing mini-MAVs, cargo delivery, and eventually human missions, with the first cargo mission potentially launching in 2028 and human missions in 2043.Special thanks to our sponsors:American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Helix Space in Luxembourg, Celestis Memorial Spaceflights, Astrox Corporation, Dr. God does not expect His children to navigate life without His voice. In this message from the Alignment Series, we explore the relationship between God the Father and us as His children. Jesus declares in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” This verse reminds us that spiritual direction is not merely about receiving instructions—it is about knowing the One who is speaking. Unlike the painful silence seen in parts of David's relationship with his sons, our heavenly Father speaks, corrects, encourages, warns, and guides His children. He does not abandon us to confusion. He invites us into conversation and teaches us how to recognize His voice. This message challenges us to ask: Are we listening when God speaks? Do we trust His correction? Are we following His direction, even when we do not understand the entire path? God knows you. God speaks to you. God leads you. God loves you. When you need direction, do not run from the Father. Marilyn Gilchrist is a professional dog trainer, and "Who Am I Now" is her conversation with Michael Shikashio, lifted from his podcast The Bitey End of the Dog. Kevin Allison sets it up and returns at the end with his own thoughts. This is a companion episode to Still Dog People: Two Truths, released earlier in the week. (Content note: graphic dog attack) An hour into a routine welfare check on a foster dog, Marilyn stood up to leave. The dog grabbed the lead, she dropped it exactly as she had twice already that afternoon, and every muscle in the dog went tense. The weeks after taught her that the wound in her leg was the smaller problem. She had built a career and a self on being good with dogs, and now she could not be in a room with one she did not know. In Layer 9 of Exposing the Matrix, we confront perhaps the most dangerous layer of all: religion and the counterfeit church. Through disturbing audio clips exposing open heresy within today's churches, we examine the prosperity gospel, entertainment-driven worship, emotionalism replacing doctrine, celebrity pastors, false unity movements, political churches, biblical illiteracy, lukewarm Christianity, the removal of repentance from the gospel, and the refusal to address spiritual warfare. A compromised church cannot stand against a corrupt culture. As 2 Timothy 4:3–4 warns, the time has come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but will gather teachers who satisfy their itching ears and turn them away from the truth.Closing song "Hold The Line" https://suno.com/song/2fed8431-ccc2-4c88-a713-2a449a85ae52Support our mission: Zelle 719-651-0642Email us: thefacthunter@mail.com
