Listen to learn else don't bother at all. God is not looking for a fan club. He knows your heart and where you stand. True life purpose is not a pursuit of self-glorification and “happiness”. It is sacrificial and it is in service to glorifying the only Living God. With that, comes a Godly sorrow for the state of the world, understanding the overwhelming betrayal humanity has committed against God. It has nothing to do with you and your own life preferences… it is all about your walk with God and whether it is Just in His sight, or wicked. For he is the ultimate Judge and will judge us all righteously at our guaranteed appointment of death. I am not interested in followers, likes, flattery, opinions of my personality etc. If you follow me for any other reason other than to listen, learn and take your relationship with God seriously, transforming your heart and it being visible in your deeds, then do not waste neither your own nor my time by watching my work. I will not call it “content” because that is an insult to those of us that put in deep work and effort to produce such work at a cost to ourselves and at no worldly rewards. The ultimate reward is a true and strong relationship with God, nothing is worth more than His love and protection. God will not be mocked. He is the Truth. The Gospel of John 8-14 Part Six: The Road, the Truth & the Life  Louie Marsh, 5-29-2022   “5Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:5–6, ESV)   “5Thomas said, “Master, we have no idea where you're going. How do you expect us to know the road?” 6Jesus said, “I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me.” (John 14:5–6, The Message)   1) Everyone is trying to find their OWN WAY through life.   “6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6, ESV)   A way to SUCCEED   “16And I looked, and behold, you had sinned against the Lord your God. You had made yourselves a golden calf. You had turned aside quickly from the way that the Lord had commanded you.” (Deuteronomy 9:16, ESV) A way out of TROUBLE.   “8The way of peace they do not know, and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their roads crooked; no one who treads on them knows peace.” (Isaiah 59:8, ESV)   2) We miss it because we're looking for the WRONG THING.   “13“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” (Matthew 7:13–14, ESV)   The Way is not….   DOCTRINE PHILOSOPHY KNOWLEDGE WISDOM POWER   The Way is JESUS   “17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17, ESV)   He is the ONLY WAY to God.   “8“And to this people you shall say: ‘Thus says the Lord: Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.” (Jeremiah 21:8, ESV)   3) Jesus answers life's most IMPORTANT question:   “37…Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” 38Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” … (John 18:37–38, ESV)   Jesus is    “Truth”  = “undistorted reality.”   LIVE OUT the truth   “24Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” (John 12:24–25, ESV)   “15Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,” (Ephesians 4:15, ESV)   Attributed to St. Francis of Assisi that I recited daily for sustenance and guidance: Keep a clear eye toward life's end. Do not forget your purpose and destiny as God's creature. What you are in His sight is what you are and nothing more. Do not let worldly cares and anxieties or the pressures of office blot out the divine life within you or the voice of God's spirit guiding you in your great task of leading humanity to wholeness. Open yourself to God and his plan printed deeply in your heart, God will open Himself to you.   WORSHIP in truth.   “23But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”” (John 4:23–24, ESV)   Jesus IS the truth – Paul Tillich: “In Him the true, the genuine, the ultimate reality is present, or in other words, God Himself is present, unveiled, undistorted in his infinite depth in his magnificent mystery.”   4) God gives us two primary sources of truth:   His WORD – THE BIBLE   “17Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17, ESV)   His SPIRIT – WHO HELPS US UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE.   “13When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth...” (John 16:13, ESV)   5) REALIZE there are two kinds of life   βίος, bios = BIOLOGICAL LIFE   ζωή, zōē = THE LIFE OF GOD, SPIRITUAL LIFE   Zoe ends in JOY.   “21But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: 22The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:21–23, ESV)   Bios ends in BOREDOM   4 Facts About Boredom:   It's symptomatic It's self-inflicted It's blaming others instead of blessing them It's feeling trapped with nowhere to go   6) CHOOSE LIFE!   Focus on faith not FEELINGS!   for through faith we are ordering our manner of life, not by something seen.  2 Cor. 5:7 (WuestNT)   Embrace discipline as my FRIEND.    “3Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. 5An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” (2 Timothy 2:3–5, ESV)   Invest myself OUTSIDE MYSELF!   “3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.” (2 Corinthians 1:3–5, ESV)

Christians have been persecuted and killed since the 1st Century. Why? “Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you.” Doesn't seem too threatening! Yet, at the core, God's principals are so counter-cultural they are indeed revolutionary! His Word - The Bible, has shaped and changed my perspective, outlook and ultimately my life. We go through a few examples at The Mountaineer GNCC in Beckley, WV.

A reminder of some things for which we all should be thankful for. We should thank God for- His Word -The Bible-, His Only begotten Son Jesus Christ, His Sovereignty, His Divine Providence, His Churches, and His promise of Christ's to come again.

How a Muslim got converted and was healed from incurable disease... I was a Muslim by name Silifat Mudashiru from a Muslim family, half Nigerian and half Ghanaian. I was sick every moment of my life from the age 24 in Nigeria. I traveled from Nigeria to Ghana and was diagnosed of HIV positive and was confirmed to be true. I call upon Allah many times but no avail, I decided to seek for spiritual aid. One day I was in my room very sick and heard a Pastor preaching on the radio. He said; 'there is no power greater than the power of the Lord Jesus Christ and He is our salvation, there is nothing the Lord Jesus cannot do even if you are HIV positive. I went to Church, accepted Jesus, was baptized and later found myself among the Prayer Warriors. Later I became a Sunday School Teacher alongside. My name Silifatu was then changed to Elizabeth. I developed a strong relationship with Jesus as l befriended His Word (The Bible) and prayed to God through him believing that He can heal me. I later joined a Missionary Team called the Men Fishers Outreach, and there I was encouraged that the Lord can heal me. Through gradual prayers and fasting with the Man of God and my commitment to the work of God, Jesus touched and healed me. I conducted for HIV test and was confirmed HIV negative. It was then l agreed with the scripture that says for with God all things are possible, at 'Mark 10:27'. The Bible also says "Whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life, 'John 3:16'; and that is life after death and in health, business and marriage. I have set up my own business as a Fashion Designer and a Trader and have been married to a seasoned man of God and now a disciple in Men Fishers Outreach, where my Ministry is being nurtured and tutored. I now know of veracity that “whoever the Son (Jesus Christ) set free is free indeed” As seen with our interaction with Silifatu now Elizabeth, we got to know that although she accepted Jesus Christ, was baptized and read His word, she was also interested in the things of God. Thus, she was seeking for the Giver and not His Gift. We weren't mesmerized when God changed her story within a blink of an eye. It's Not Too Late! SAID JESUS, “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Luke 5:32) WITHIN YOUR HEART, BELIEVE AND REPEAT AFTER ME: “Lord Jesus forgive me my sins, come and dwell in me, I do now accept you as my Lord and personal Saviour, Amen!” Find a Bible believing Church and attend, or contact us. There are forces at work, on a daily bases, trying to keep people for experiencing the “fruitful” lives that God promises in His Word - The Bible.  When we get ahold of God’s Word, we need to hold on to it so it can take root, grow and thrive in our lives. In our continued exploration of Jesus’ parable found in Mark Chapter 4, we discover that there is an adversary that is at work on a daily bases, striving to keep God’s Word from taking root in our heart and producing the fruit of joy, peace, etc. Jesus identifies this adversary and illustrates him as a bird who swoops down to steal seed before it can be established in soil. This teaching gives light to the importance of mediating on the Bible daily so that a person can be exactly who God says he/she can be.
