Most of us have seen news reports about workplace surveillance, cyberstalking, ransomware attacks, and facial recognition and ignore them willfully, but know deep down that our privacy is disappearing in the face of wondrous technological marvels. But it is never too late to protect your own privacy, even for those who don't want to live off the grid without cell phones or internet access. Written in blunt jargon-free prose, ON PRIVACY: Twenty Lessons to Live By (Workman Publishing; March 4, 2025; $20 Hardcover) by Lawrence Cappello defines today's privacy landscape while also reminding readers of the joys of keeping things to ourselves.Authored by an award-winning professor of U.S. legal & constitutional history and a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US & CIPM) ON PRIVACY helps readers understand and explains clearly why privacy matters and explains in brief digestible chapters how you can better protect your privacy while still enjoying the pleasures and conveniences of the modern world, for example: Worried about your private information being shared on the internet? All of your devices have privacy settings. Take five minutes to learn how to use them. A few quick adjustments can make a real difference in protecting your personal information. When locking your phone, go with an old-fashioned four- or six-digit passcode over biometrics like Face ID and fingerprint readers. It's getting easier to replicate faces and thumbprints. It remains harder to hack someone's brain. What about your online history and reputation? The idea of retaking control over your personal data may feel overwhelming, but it's easier than you think. For a fee, online reputation management professionals will scour the internet on your behalf to identify who has your information, get it deleted or corrected, and continue monitoring your online persona as new items pop up. It's called ORM (online reputation management). Look it up and see if it's a fit for you. What about protecting your friends' and loved ones' privacy?Be a privacy-conscious friend on social media. Don't tag people in photos or share their location without their permission. Police arrest Christians in India for evangelism, Post-abortive women have higher suicide rate, Actor Chris Pratt: “I care enough about Jesus to take a stand!”

It's Monday, March 10th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Police arrest Christians in India for evangelism On February 23rd, police arrested nine Christians in two locations in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India for holding Sunday prayer meetings, which Hindu groups alleged were intended to convert Hindus, reports ChurchinChains. Five Christians, including a pastor, were arrested in Sitapur district, where a case was registered following a complaint by Anuj Bhadauria, the district coordinator of a Hindu nationalist organization named Bajrang Dal.  Plus, four others, including a pastor, were arrested in Raebareli district. In each case, the Christians had gathered for regular Sunday prayers in a home when a Hindu mob barged in and alleged that they were defaming the Hindu religion, and its deities, and offering inducements to convert people. Police seized Bibles and other religious materials as evidence of conversion activities. Over one hundred Christians are reportedly being held in different jails across Uttar Pradesh state, with 35 jailed so far in 2025. Christians make up less than one percent of the 200 million people who live in the state there in India. The Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act 2021, a strict anti-conversion law, was amended last year to include harsher punishments including life imprisonment for religious conversion activities. Many Indian Christians find solace in Joshua 1:9 which says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Trump's pro-America speech wins accolades Last Tuesday night, President Donald Trump addressed a joint session of Congress.  (Read the transcript here) TRUMP: “America is back! (applause) Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the golden age of America.” CBS News polled Americans and discovered that 91% said the 47th president actually discussed issues that were important to them, and 74% said the address was entertaining.  Overall, a total of 71% said the speech was inspiring. Trump used humor to address the border and wasteful spending No doubt, Trump's description of his policies was indeed entertaining.  Listen to what he had to say about the border. TRUMP: “The media, and our friends in the Democrat Party, kept saying we needed new legislation. We must have legislation to secure the border, but it turned out that all we really needed -- was a new president.” (cheers) He was equally entertaining as he described the waste that the Department of Government Efficiency has identified under the leadership of Elon Musk. TRUMP: “Just listen to some of the appalling waste we have already identified. “$22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars for illegal aliens. $45 million for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion scholarships in Burma. $40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants. Nobody knows what that is. (laughter) $8 million to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of. (laughter) $8 million for making mice transgender. (laughter) This is real. … “Under the Trump administration, all of these scams have been found out and exposed and swiftly terminated by a group of very intelligent, mostly young people, headed up by Elon [Musk]. And we appreciate it. We found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud.” (applause) Post-abortive women have higher suicide rate In a new topic-blind study, 2,829 American women, between ages 41 and 45, were surveyed about their reproductive health and suicide attempts, reports LifeNews.com. Authored by Elliot Institute Director David Reardon and published in The Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics & Gynecology, the study found that women who had abortions or natural pregnancy loss were twice as likely to attempt to end their lives. The research sought to discern whether post-abortive suicide attempts are “entirely incidental and most likely fully explained by pre-existing mental illness,” as some have claimed, or directly related to the loss of life in the womb. To garner unbiased results, the respondents were completely in the dark as to what the purpose of the research was. Among women with a history of abortion, 35% of them had attempted suicide. Even women who did not have abortions, but lost their babies due to miscarriages or problematic pregnancies, had suicide attempt rates of roughly 30%. Notably, the research found that women who were coerced into having abortions had the highest rates of suicide at 46% of whom tried to end their own lives. Only 13% of women who had successful deliveries with no abortions, no miscarriages, no problems within the pregnancies were found to have made suicide attempts — the lowest rates among all surveyed women. Trump DOJ ends Biden lawsuit to force Idaho to allow ‘emergency' abortions The Trump administration has ended a Biden-era attempt to force Idaho pro-life doctors to participate in so-called “emergency” abortions, but a federal judge is still attempting to delay the law's enforcement, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Idaho's Defense of Life Act bans all abortions except those deemed “necessary to prevent the death of the pregnant woman.”  On Wednesday, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America reported that the new Justice Department under President Donald Trump has moved to drop the case, ending the federal government's efforts to invalidate the Idaho Defense of Life Act.  Actor Chris Pratt: “I care enough about Jesus to take a stand!” And finally, Chris Pratt has built a career on playing heroes — from the lovable goofball Andy Dwyer on "Parks and Recreation" to Marvel's Star-Lord, he's won over audiences with his humor and charm. But his greatest mission, said the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star, is far bigger than Hollywood, reports The Christian Post. After having listened to the entire Bible, Leah Klett asked Pratt which Scripture has had the most profound impact on his life. PRATT: “Matthew 5:14. Being a light in this world, a city on a hill cannot be hidden. I'm being called to be that city on the hill at this moment in my life. I feel like you take a risk. I think being in the entertainment world, being vocal about anything that's divisive, religion is divisive. I do care enough about Jesus to take a stand, even if it cost me. If it costs me everything, I don't care. It's worth it to me, because this is what I'm called to do, is where my heart is. “I'm a father of four. I want to raise my children up with an understanding that their dad was unashamed of his faith in Jesus, and with a profound understanding of the power of prayer and the grace and the love and the joy that can come from a relationship with Jesus. That's something that's really important to me. You don't hear that a lot from people in entertainment, but it's who I am. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. So, get back to Matthew 5:14.” Now there's a Hollywood star whose knee bends to his Savior Jesus Christ. BUFFALO, NY - December 30, 2024 – A new #editorial was #published in Oncotarget's Volume 15 on December 24, 2024, titled “Pitfalls and perils from FDA-approved germ-line cancer predisposition tests." Authored by Dr. Wafik S. El-Deiry, Editor-in-Chief of Oncotarget, and Dr. Eli Y. Adashi from Brown University, the article highlights concerns about the risks of a newly approved genetic test for cancer risk. This test, called the “Invitae Common Hereditary Cancers Panel," was approved in 2023 and examines 48 genes linked to inherited cancers, including breast, ovarian, and Lynch syndrome-related cancers. Although the test increases access to genetic information, the authors warn that using it without professional guidance may lead to confusion, stress, and potential harm. One concern is that people can order this test online without consulting healthcare professionals or genetic counselors. Without expert help, users might struggle to understand their results especially if they indicate risks that are unclear or difficult to act on. This can cause unnecessary anxiety and confusion. “The DTC option of germ-line testing for cancer susceptibility should be discouraged given the risks of anxiety, lack of adequate interpretation for variants not strongly associated with cancer, potential for minors to be tested outside the healthcare system and potential for loss of follow-up if test results are not shared with health care professionals or never make it into the medical record.” The editorial also points out ethical and medical issues when minors use these tests. If a child's test is done without medical oversight, results might not be added to their health records, making follow-up care harder to manage and potentially risking their long-term health. Cost is another issue. These tests are often not covered by insurance, which can place a financial burden on families who might need additional testing or medical advice. The researchers emphasize that genetic testing for cancer risk should always include healthcare providers and genetic counseling. This ensures users fully understand their results and receive proper guidance. The authors also call on the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide clear rules for using these tests, particularly for minors. In conclusion, while genetic testing holds great potential for improving cancer prevention and care, its benefits must not come at the cost of safety and public health. Responsible use of these tests will require collaboration between regulators, healthcare professionals, and testing companies to address the risks and ensure these tools are used effectively. Our conversation picks back up with an article published in the December 2020 issue of Current Reviews in Musculoskeletal Medicine titled “Surgical Management of Massive Irreparable Cuff Tears: Superior Capsular Reconstruction.” Authored by our guest today, this review article summarizes the biomechanical properties and functional outcomes of superior capsular reconstruction or “SCR” for treatment of massive irreparable rotator cuff tears. The authors report that SCR decreases superior translation and subacromial contact pressure. Glenoid fixation is maximized with three anchors, while margin convergence to any remaining rotator cuff – particularly posterior – improves stability. Patient selection is key, with the ideal patient being younger than 70 and a healthy nonsmoker with an irreparable posterior cuff tear in the absence of glenohumeral arthritis and a functioning or repairable subscapularis. We finish up our discussion today with the publication titled “Latissimus dorsi transfer or lower trapezius transfer: a treatment algorithm for irreparable posterosuperior rotator cuff tears muscles transfers in posterosuperior rotator cuff tears.” Laurent Lafosse and team compared two tendon transfer options for irreparable posterior-superior rotator cuff tears with rotational deficiency – the latissimus dorsi transfer and the lower trapezius transfer.  They found that active motion, pain scores and function were improved in both groups with a low failure and revision rate.  The authors suggest that lower trapezius transfer better restores external rotation at the side while latissimus dorsi transfer may be a better option for restoration of external rotation and abduction.

On today's episode we're focusing on challenging rotator cuff pathology with Dr. Patrick Denard, an orthopedic shoulder surgeon at the Oregon Shoulder Institute. We have some great articles for you that contribute well to our conversation on the treatment options for massive reparable, as well as irreparable, rotator cuff injuries. As always, links to all of the papers that we discuss on this show can be found on our podcast website – www.thesportsdocspod.comWe'll start off our discussion today with an expert opinion article from the July 2022 issue of Arthroscopy titled “Graft Augmentation of Repairable Rotator Cuff Tears: An Algorithmic Approach Based on Healing Rates.” Authored by our guest today, this article provides an algorithm for tissue augmentation of rotator cuff repairs based on the current available evidence regarding rotator cuff healing. The authors recommend using a Rotator Cuff Healing Index or “ROHI” cutoff of greater than or equal to 7 to select for the use of tissue augmentation, as the healing rate is 66% at 6 points but decreases substantially to 38% at 7 points. Then, from the May 2019 issue of AJSM, we review an article titled “Rotator Cuff Matrix Augmentation and Interposition: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.” The authors concluded that graft augmentation provided significantly lower retear rates and higher ASES scores compared with cuff repair alone. With regards to graft choice for augmentation, the highest rates of healing, as demonstrated by repair integrity on imaging, were shown for allograft at 82% compared to xenograft at 68%. Nonaugmented repairs had a healing rate of only 49%.We finish up our discussion today with the publication titled “Preoperative Nutrition Impacts Retear Rate After Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair.” This level III retrospective study published in the August issue of JBJS this year, sought to determine the relationship between preoperative nutritional status, using the Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index or “GNRI”, and rotator cuff retears after arthroscopic repair in patients 65 years of age and older. The authors found that poor pre-op nutrition, as exhibited by a GNRI less than 103, was an independent risk factor for a cuff retear at 2 years post-op. We are joined today by Dr. Patrick Denard, a board-certified orthopedic shoulder surgeon and Director of the Oregon Shoulder Institute. He is also the Director of the Oregon Shoulder Fellowship and Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington Status University School of Medicine. Dr. Denard is the Chairman and Founder of the Pinnacle Shoulder meeting and a reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow surgery. He has published and lectured extensively on the topic of rotator cuff pathology, so we are very excited to have him join our discussion today.

BUFFALO, NY - December 3, 2024 – A new #review was #published in Oncotarget's Volume 15 on November 22, 2024, entitled “Mesenchymal stem cells - the secret agents of cancer immunotherapy: Promises, challenges, and surprising twists." Authored by Theia Minev, Shani Balbuena, Jaya Mini Gill, Francesco M. Marincola, Santosh Kesari, and Feng Lin from CureScience Institute, Sonata Therapeutics, and Pacific Neuroscience Institute and Providence Saint John's Health Center, this review explores the potential role of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in cancer treatment. These stem cells can naturally target tumors and deliver therapeutic agents directly to cancer cells, potentially improving treatment outcomes while reducing side effects commonly associated with traditional therapies like chemotherapy. However, the authors also note significant challenges, pointing out that under certain conditions, MSCs may unintentionally promote tumor growth, highlighting the need for careful therapeutic design. MSCs are cells that can develop in different types of tissues, such as bone, fat, or cartilage, and act as natural repair agents. What makes them particularly special is their ability to respond to biological signals, like inflammation, which is often present in cancer. This enables them to locate tumors, and once there, they can deliver cancer treatments directly to the affected area. Clinical trials are already investigating MSC-based treatments for cancers such as brain tumors, melanoma, and ovarian cancer. Some results are promising, showing that MSCs can effectively deliver treatments and boost the immune system's fight against cancer. However, other trials have also revealed the complexities of MSC behavior, including variability in their effects and the potential to create conditions that support tumor growth. “This variability may be due to the tumor immune microenvironment's effects, where immune cells are inhibited by various factors, creating a conducive environment for tumor growth.” The authors also suggest that “Developing personalized MSC therapies tailored to the specific characteristics of a patient's tumor and immune system could enhance the efficacy and safety of MSC-based treatments.” Achieving this requires a deeper understanding of how MSCs interact with cancer cells and their surrounding environment. In conclusion, this review highlights both the potential and challenges of (MSCs in cancer therapy. With ongoing research and technological advancements, MSCs could become a key component of personalized cancer treatments, offering new hope for patients worldwide. With the Federalist #85 We have completed the entire FEDERALIST PAPERS! Authored by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay to appear anonymously in New York papers under the pseudonym "Publius" in 1787 and 1788, the Federalist Papers aimed to rally public support for the proposed Constitution of the United States. As such, it is one of the most important sources for understanding the original intent of the US Constitution by those who participated in its construction. In Federalist number one Alexander Hamilton sets forth the ambition of arguing the following positions in favor of the adoption of the Constitution: "I propose, in a series of papers, to discuss the following interesting particulars: THE UTILITY OF THE UNION TO YOUR POLITICAL PROSPERITY THE INSUFFICIENCY OF THE PRESENT CONFEDERATION TO PRESERVE THAT UNION THE NECESSITY OF A GOVERNMENT AT LEAST EQUALLY ENERGETIC WITH THE ONE PROPOSED, TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THIS OBJECT THE CONFORMITY OF THE PROPOSED CONSTITUTION TO THE TRUE PRINCIPLES OF REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT ITS ANALOGY TO YOUR OWN STATE CONSTITUTION and lastly, THE ADDITIONAL SECURITY WHICH ITS ADOPTION WILL AFFORD TO THE PRESERVATION OF THAT SPECIES OF GOVERNMENT, TO LIBERTY, AND TO PROPERTY." In this episode, we're going to continue our discussion with Dr. Rachel Frank and focus on emergency action plans as well as the sideline management of some common soccer-related orthopedic injuries. Our conversation picks back up with a review article published in the July 2023 issue of Clinics in Sports Medicine titled “On-Field Sports Emergencies: Preparation and Readiness.” Authored by our guest today, this paper discusses the importance of an emergency action plan. The emergency action plan should include site-specific implementation, personnel who are involved, equipment, communication, transportation, and location of emergency care facilities. This paper notes that improvements should be made following self-evaluation after each on field emergency to ensure the EAP is optimal. Then, from the upcoming issue of JAAOS next month, we review an article titled “Management of Sideline Medical Emergencies.” While most sports related injuries are benign, the potential for catastrophic injury is omnipresent and covering team physicians need to be prepared. This paper nicely highlights the acute management of a variety of medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, nervous system injury, significant bleeding, abdominal trauma and specific musculoskeletal injuries including hip and knee dislocations. The authors point out that physicians must be comfortable recognizing the signs and symptoms of life-threatening emergencies and not hesitate to rapidly escalate care and initiate an emergency response.

On today's episode we're focusing on concussions and emergency action plans with Dr. Rachel Frank, head team orthopaedic surgeons for the Colorado Rapids soccer team and USA Soccer Network Physician. We have some great articles for you that contribute well to our conversation on the recognition and management of concussions, as well as the importance of emergency action planning. We'll start off our discussion today with a review article published in the January 2019 issue of Orthopedics titled “Concussions in Sport”. Authored by our guest today, this paper dives into the current understanding of concussions, including the increasing incidence in youth sports as well as the role of orthopaedic surgeons in appropriately recognizing and managing concussions acutely. Then, from the March 2022 issue of AJSM this, we review the publication titled “Association Between Symptom Burden at Initiation of a Graduated Return to Activity Protocol and Time to Return to Unrestricted Activity After Concussion in Service Academy Cadets.” This level 2 prospective cohort study found that cadets who endorsed greater than or equal to 2 concussion symptoms had a significant longer duration in the return to activity protocol that those who endorsed fewer symptoms. Other factors associated with a longer duration in the protocol included non varsity status, female gender, academic breaks and longer time to initiating the protocol. We finish up our conversation today with the publication titled “Prevention of sports-related concussion in soccer: a comprehensive review of the literature” from the March 2023 issue of Annals of Medicine and Surgery. This systematic review identified several strategies that can be implemented to lower the rate of concussion in soccer. These include: Concussion education; rule and regulation changes to reduce player-to-player contact; and prevention training programs such as behavioral skills, vision training to improve sensory and anticipation, and cervical strengthening. We are joined today by Dr. Rachel Frank, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. She is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Director of the Joint Preservation Program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Frank is also a team physician for the University of Colorado Buffalos, head team orthopedic surgeon for the Colorado Rapids and a USA Soccer Network Physician. She is the editor and Chief of the Journal of Cartilage and Joint Preservation and has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles and 50 book chapters.Welcome to the show, Dr. Frank!

The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 7th study session on The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness and Civil Rights. Authored by Bennett Cohen, Racist Suspect. Prentice Sanders is classified as a black male and is credited with serving almost 40 full years with the San Francisco Police Department. Last week, we learned about the massive dragnets for any and all black males during the early spring of 1974. One black officer was quoted as saying: "8 to 80, blind, crippled or crazy," they were classified as a black male, they were stopped by police. Perhaps, stopped repeatedly. Black male police officers were stopped and searched. Black male teachers were stopped and searched. The author said unless you were the 7 foot center for the Los Angeles Lakers, you were subject to being stopped. Gus T. found this hilarious because the Lakers center in 1975 was black Muslim, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Authorities rumored that the Nation of Islam was responsible for these killings, so the Hall of Fame big man probably would have been shackled or tasered (or both). Importantly, Cohen tells us that SFPD officers concocted the new sketches for the suspected killer. No officer witnessed the killings, and they confessed that although the drawings were supposed to be of a single black male, they accepted that many people thought they were sketches of two different black people. Racist White officers also suggested that either a black police officer(s) was committing the "zebra murders" or he was aiding the real killers evade police capture. #TheCOWS15Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

It's been over five years since our last conversation, and the progress Daniel has made with his company is nothing short of remarkable.Flower Turbines isn't just about harnessing wind power; it's about doing it beautifully and efficiently, particularly in urban environments where traditional turbines would struggle. Daniel's vision for small, aesthetically pleasing wind turbines that operate quietly and efficiently has brought a fresh perspective to renewable energy. One of the most intriguing aspects of our conversation was Daniel's explanation of their patented "bouquet effect." This innovation allows their tulip-shaped turbines to be placed close together, enhancing each other's performance—something unheard of with traditional large wind turbines. As Daniel aptly put it, “When you have winds, you can collect [energy] 24 hours a day... We're the only ones that can place turbines close together, and ours have this great benefit so that we can make better use of tight spaces than anybody else can.”This ability to optimize space without sacrificing efficiency could be a game-changer, particularly for off-grid power solutions. Moreover, Flower Turbines' products are bird-friendly, quiet, and designed to be integrated with solar and battery technologies, offering a comprehensive energy solution.Daniel's passion for innovation, backed by a robust portfolio of patents, is driving Flower Turbines toward what could be a significant leap in the renewable energy market. As they move into mass production, the potential for impact is tremendous, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes them next.Flower Turbines is raising capital from the crowd via StartEngine.tl;dr:* Guest Introduction: Dr. Daniel Farb, CEO and founder of Flower Turbines, returns to the show after several years to discuss the progress and innovations in small wind turbines designed for urban environments.* Innovation and Progress: Dr. Farb shares how Flower Turbines has evolved from early-stage prototypes to manufacturing and selling turbines. They've made significant strides in aerodynamics and electronics, leading to unique products that perform better when placed close together.* Crowdfunding Success: Flower Turbines has completed five successful crowdfunding rounds on StartEngine, raising substantial funds from over 8,000 investors. They are now preparing for their sixth round.* Multidisciplinary Approach: Dr. Farb attributes his success to his ability to combine different fields of knowledge, from science and art to business, which has been crucial in developing innovative products and solutions.* Advice on Becoming Multidisciplinary: Dr. Farb encourages others to explore diverse interests, as these experiences often connect in unexpected ways, enhancing both personal and professional growth. How to Develop Multidisciplinary High Achievement As a SuperpowerDaniel's superpower is his ability to excel across multiple disciplines, combining creativity with scientific and business acumen. This unique blend allows him to approach complex problems from various angles, resulting in innovative solutions that bridge the gap between art and science, as well as between invention and marketing.Daniel exemplifies his multidisciplinary superpower through the design of Flower Turbines' wind turbines. He drew on his diverse background—merging artistic inspiration with scientific rigor—to create beautiful, efficient turbines that are not only functional but also visually appealing. Additionally, he shared an anecdote about his work in e-learning, where he applied creative storytelling to teach complex pharmaceutical regulations, transforming a traditionally dull subject into an engaging, interactive experience.Tips for Developing this Superpower:* Pursue Diverse Interests: Follow your curiosity and explore different fields. Every skill or knowledge you acquire can connect in unexpected ways later on.* Combine Creativity with Discipline: Use both your creative and logical sides to approach problems. Don't be afraid to blend art with science or other seemingly unrelated disciplines.* Embrace Hard Work: Multidisciplinary excellence requires dedication. Be willing to work hard and push the boundaries of your abilities in multiple areas.By following Daniel's example and advice, you can make multidisciplinary high achievement a skill. With practice and effort, you could make it a superpower that enables you to do more good in the world.Remember, however, that research into success suggests that building on your own superpowers is more important than creating new ones or overcoming weaknesses. You do you!Guest ProfileDr. Daniel Farb (he/him):CEO and Founder, Flower TurbinesAbout Flower Turbines: Flower Turbines is an innovative small wind turbine company with the ambition to become a major global force in renewable energy. With over 30 patents, the company has solved the technology and design problems holding small wind back from being as large an industry as solar. One of its biggest innovations is the cluster effect, whereby the turbines, when placed close to each other correctly, make the whole group perform better. For example, four turbines together produce as much energy as eight separate ones.Website: flowerturbines.comX/Twitter Handle: @flowerturbinesCompany Facebook Page: facebook.com/flowerturbinesInstagram Handle: @flowerturbines_usOther URL: startengine.com/offering/flowerturbinesBiographical Information: School, Degree, Year2019:         NSF Innovation Corps Certification by NYCRIN, New York2011 and 2012:     Course Series: Executive's Guide to Patent Strategy, Herzliya, Israel, taught by Finnegan law firm and the University of Haifa1999 – 2001:         Courses at UCLA School of Business and Management. - Program in International Trade and Commerce. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 5th study session on The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness and Civil Rights. Authored by Bennett Cohen, Racist Suspect. Prentice Sanders is classified as a black male and is credited with serving almost 40 full years with the San Francisco Police Department. This murder case reportedly involved random White people being killed by random black dudes. These killings took place at the same time that both the Black Panther Party and the nefarious Symbionese Liberation Army were in operation in the Bay Area. In addition to these infamous social clubs, Rev. Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple were well established in San Francisco's Fillmore district by 1973. In fact, Jones talked to his mostly black congregation about these homicides. After one week of study, Gus concluded that the White author, Cohen, is the primary hand writing this book. Mr. Sanders probably retold his life and times to this White Man, but had no authority in constructing how this book was written. Gus could be wrong. Last week, we learned that the Muslim mosque frequented by several of the black males suspected of being involved in the killings is on the same street at the Peoples Temple. Right next door actually. On January 28, 1974, the "zebra murders" resumed and intensified with 5 White people shot in one night. SFPD began "stopping and frisking" random black males, and USC star and eventual 4-time Super Bowl champion Lynn Swann and his 3 black males friends were assaulted, insulted and arrested. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 4th study session on The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness and Civil Rights. Last week we learned about two black male suspects for the killings. Larry Green and JC Simon has no criminal record, but were affiliated with a "radial" Nation of Islam sect. The White author talks about radical black "rage" and titles chapter six: "Revenge." We're told that black people have a distinct way of running - even when fleeing a crime scene. And we're told the negro murder suspects visit a muslim mosque at the corner of Geary and Fillmore. The Peoples Temple was at located at 1859 Geary Boulevard. Gus thinks Jim Jones had to be involved with the "Zebra killings" because of the proximity of the murders and because he was suspiciously quiet about these happenings. #NoNiggrasAtTheChristmasParty #CaliforniaStateHistory INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Last week we heard about the tiny number of black residents in the San Francisco area during the 1960's. There are still very few black residents in this miniature town. Sanders detailed the lack of black officers on the force in addition to the casual, normalized Racist talk of the White officers. The White author made sure to remind readers that one of the first murder victims was a pretty White girl. **Importantly, it is widely reported that although these killings are reportedly black males killing White people, that is not why these events are branded the "zebra murders." In fact, Jones talked to his mostly black congregation about these homicides. Gus selected this book because we've spent half the year reading 2 different Jonestown books - written by White men, where neither author mentioned the "zebra murders." Gus found that fascinating, appalling, and unacceptable. **Importantly, it is widely reported that although these killings are reportedly black males killing White people, that is not why these events are branded the "zebra murders."
