Gabe directs behind the scenes for the podcast and just wait until you hear him at the table! In addition to Gabe, we have Pastor Will Chung, the Lead Pastor of Beloved Church in Buena Park, CA, the people's padre, Adam Mesa and Chelsie. We haven't had a debate in a while, so we thought, we'd have another! This episode unfolds a profound conversation revolving around the complex role of language and representation in contemporary Christianity.Another contentious yet intriguing subject discussed was the use of cussing in Christian communication. Yes, we said CUSSING. The conversation evaluated reactions to Tim Ross's use of cuss words in his podcast, assessing whether this communicative approach could potentially attract people to the faith. The discussion also reflected on historical instances such as Paul's use of a cuss word in the Bible for emphasis. This thought-provoking episode encourages self-reflection, understanding, and dialogue, reminding us of the need for compassion, conviction, and clarity in our approach to evangelism and the necessity of recognizing and addressing the power of language within Christianity. So, grab your tea or coffee and join us in this weeks conversation.--Get connected with our guests:Will Chung https://www.instagram.com/willkchung/?igshid=Y2I2MzMwZWM3ZA%3D%3D--Don't forget to stay connected with us:Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4OvpFp9OB9_DgVdVVbXhFgInstagram https://www.instagram.com/beyond.theletter/Tik Tok https://www.tiktok.com/discover/beyond-the-letter--Get to know some of the team:@amesa https://www.instagram.com/amesa/Gabe - does not have instagram@chelsiebaham https://www.instagram.com/chelsiebaham/@nancysnavas https://www.instagram.com/nancysnavas/

Freedom and Liberty Under Attack Steve Cassell pt 2We are going to be concluding this great interview with my good friend Pastor Steve Cassell of the Beloved Church in Lena, Illinois. This is part three of our interview and if you missed any, and I mean any of the preceding two episodes, well, you need to go back and catch up. Pastor Steve Cassell was the first pastor in America to file legal challenges against executive orders during the pandemic which shut down churches in America. He was the lone voice speaking out against the illegal executive orders mandating that everyone had to wear masks, stop attending church services and limiting the freedom of assembly and, basically, keeping people under house arrest and destroying small businesses in America. Do you see the church entering a period of revival because of all the chaos going on around us? It amazes me how clearly we can see events accelerating to what the Bible calls, “the last days and the soon return of Jesus,” but yet, it seems nobody wants to discuss that. It's almost as if they are afraid of, literally, “scaring the hell out of somebody.” But that is what is needed right now. We need to “scare the hell out of people” because if not, they will be going to hell. This all relates to, what is called, the finished work on the cross. Jesus accomplished it all – and told us to go forth and occupy until He returns. I think the church has abdicated that responsibility, raised the white flag and surrendered society to the devil. But, that goes back to what Jesus said, the path is narrow and there are few that will find it. But the path that leads to destruction is wide. I think we can see the path the leaders of this nation are leading us down. That just means true, Spiritual leaders, such as yourself and others, going against the grain, going against the current of culture, are fighting to stay on the narrow path that leads to eternal life. Pastor Steve, if someone wanted to get in touch with you, maybe get some additional information on your ministry or your church, how can they do that? How can they get in touch with you? Folks, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of staying true to the Word of God. True to those who are actually leading the fight against tyranny and the destruction of this nation, formed as a Christian nation by our forefathers, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, founded on the Word of God. But a nation that is rapidly devolving into a horde of satanic worship from the office of the president on down. Very few are speaking out against the immorality that is taking place. And even fewer are doing anything about it. I encourage you to get in touch with Pastor Steve. Ask your questions. Sign up and stay in touch with his ministry. Freedom and Liberty Under Attack Steve Cassell pt 1With all of the racial problems, all of the turmoil, all of the major metropolitan cities in devolving into jungles of hate, crime and murders, people are asking “What in the world is going on?” Almost all of the turmoil we see, in the news every night, in the streets we drive down, can be attributed to one major concept – politicians in America have left their calling to serve Christ first, and have sold their souls to the devil in exchange for power. Boiled down to its basic element, that is it. Well, my guest today has been on the front lines of calling out corrupt political stunts that have had adverse effects on society. He was the lone voice speaking out against the illegal executive orders mandating that everyone had to wear masks, stop attending church services and limiting the freedom of assembly and basically keeping people under house arrest and destroying the small businesses in America. He was the first pastor in the nation to do so and, you could say, he took some heat. From peers and foes alike. Steve Cassell is the founder of “Steve Cassell Ministries” and senior pastor at “Beloved Church” located in Lena, Illinois.  Steven, his wife, Kay, and I attended Bible School at the same time back in the late 1990's at JSMI Bible Institute and School of World Evangelism under the teaching of Dr. Jerry Savelle. I've had Steve on a few times over the past couple of years and I always look forward to his Holy Spirit inspired interviews. Amen! Steve is also a broadcaster on Evangelism Radio and his program can be heard Monday – Sunday from 3-4pm ET at evangelismradio.com. Let's start by catching up everyone, you filed the first lawsuit in the nation against the lockdowns, etc., as I described. What has been going on since then? When you first started down that path, you were like David walking out in front of the Israelites to confront Goliath. They were all hiding behind their closed church doors telling you not go out and confront the giant.  What was that battle like and when did the tide begin to change? Folks, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of staying true to the Word of God. True to those who are actually leading the fight against tyranny and the destruction of this nation, formed as a Christian nation by our forefathers, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, founded on the Word of God. But a nation that is rapidly devolving into a horde of satanic worship from the office of the president on down. Very few are speaking out against the immorality that is taking place. Give me your young, your old, your faithful masses yearning to worship freely. This revision of The New Colossus by Emma Lazarus could well be the rallying cry of Pastor Steve Cassell of Beloved Church in Lena, IL. On this edition of Spotlight, Pastor Steve joins me for a timely discussion regarding the perilous intersection of COVID-19, governmental “authority,” and Constitutionally-guaranteed personal liberties. Pastor Steve and I consider how churches and people of faith should respond to Illinois' lockdown and examine the dangerous precedent that could be established by our governor's abuse of his executive power. We also detail some of the horrific consequences of the lockdown, as well as the incredible opportunities for the Church to be an instrument of God's healing and restoration in the midst of the pandemic. If you would like to know how you can support Pastor Steve in his fight for religious freedom and personal liberty in our state, you can reach him at (815)-908-0321 or contact him at PastorSteve@BelovedChurchIllinois.com
