The Red Sox are stuck in an endless loop of mediocre .500 baseball and we're delusional. We NEED to be in last place so we can claim Xander Bogaerts when we get the Padres to release him. That'll fix everything! We discuss how this team is so hard to care about and why would anyone want to watch them, also talking about how to change this for next year. Basically this is an hour of therapy for Red Sox fans as we rant and go on tangents relating to Manny Machado, NESN, Mookie Betts, Lowell Spinners, and others things. This is an all-time classic episode, enjoy!
For nearly a decade I was the radio voice of the Lowell Spinners, the short season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. During that time I had the great opportunity to work with general manager Shawn Smith. In this episode, we reflect back on some Lowell Spinners memories. We also touch on Shawn's career and current new position with the Red Sox in Fort Myers, FL. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/john-leahy/message

Hour 1: The NFL has seen the ratings success it has had on Tuesday and Wednesday night football, so does that mean more primetime football going forward? If the Patriots plan to bring in more offensive weapons this offseason, should they keep Cam Newton? The Lowell Spinners will no longer be a Red Sox affiliate, at least for this year.
