This is the week! The biggest fight week of the year (probably). Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford face off on Saturday, live on Netflix. Crawford will look to become a three-division undisputed champion, while Canelo looks to further his legendary run. Dakota and the Big Dog talk about all the facts you should know about this fight. The undercard will feature Callum Walsh vs Fernando Vargas Jr, Christian Mbilli vs Lester Martinez. Prelims that you should be aware of are Serhii Bohachuk-Brandon Adams II, Steven Nelson-Raiko Santana, and Jermaine Franklin-Ivan Dychko. Also, we talk about Wednesday's fight card filled with talent I am not very familiar with. Match-ups that stand out to me are: flyweight Mikie Tallon versus Christian Robles, Cuban heavyweight Yoandy Toirac vs. Skylar Lacy, and super middleweight Bek Nurmaganbet vs. Steven Stumper. Stumper dropped Najee Lopez in a developmental fight. On Thursday, WBO flyweight champion Anthony Olascuaga faces Juan Carlos Camacho in the main event. Justin Viloria, Jalil Hackett, and Jamar Talley are notables on this card. Then at the end, we talk about the result of the week, which includes: Osleys Iglesias stopping Vladimir Shishkin to become the IBF interim super middleweight titleholder. Dakota rants about how available the fight was. Eduardo Nunez defeats Christopher "Pitufo" Diaz in a fringe fight-of-the-year bout. We reflect on this. Pat McCormack won an unexciting bout, Troy Williamson upset Mark Dickinson after Dickinson missed weight by a lot, and Sandy Ryan returned to the win column. Also, Oscar Valdez won a hard-fought decision over Richard Medina.0:00 Canelo-Crawford12:50 Callum Walsh-Fernando Vargas Jr17:30 Lester Martinez-Christian Mbilli24:00 Brandon Adams-Serhii Bohachuk II27:00 Ivan Dychko vs. Jermaine Franklin30:30 Wednesday and Thursday fight cards 32:30 Paddy Donovan-Lewis Crocker II36:00 Pat McCormack38:00 Sandy Ryan42:57 ProBox TV53:00 Osleys Iglesias-Vladimir Shishkin57:05 Eduardo Nunez-Christopher Diaz

Andrew Benintendi will likely be traded soon and we surely have a ton of thoughts on that. Today we talk how we'll remember Benny Buttcheeks' time in Boston, if it's the right move to deal him right now, where he ranks among 2018 Sox players that we're sad to see go, recapping his top moments with the team, how wild it is that Gerrit Cole has never won a Cy Young, if Eduardo Nunez is the only baseball player who has ever flopped, when the hell we can expect Brock Holt to give a speech for his 2020 Section 10 Guest of the Year award, why Corey Kluber could very realistically end up in Boston, how difficult it is to judge this Sox roster when there are constant reports that several moves are on the horizon for this team, a sad farewell to the Pride of Pawtucket Rusney Castillo and much more. The Mets get crushed by the Braves 14-1 on a truly awful debut for Rick Porcello. The former Cy Young pitcher only lasted 2-innings before handing it over to sacrificial lamb, Corey Oswalt, and there was no looking back after that. We had been waiting for the other shoe to drop all series and when it did, the Braves dropped BOMBS all over us. The offense continued to look anemic at the plate, Eduardo Nunez hyperextended his knee and we didn't even have our security blanket of Gary, Keith and Ron to get us through it because Chipper Jones and John Smoltz were having a conference call reunion right in our faces.

Big-time cookies type of episode today folks. Before we're joined by World Series Champion Eduardo Nunez AKA Noontime, we start by breaking down Jared and Coley's wild adventure on a duck boat for the Red Sox World Champs parade through Boston, how Jared doesn't remember much of anything after the parade was over, which Sox players they interacted with when they were up there, and what Raffy Big Scoops is actually like in real life. We then interview Eduardo Nunez talking about how he just found out about his nickname Noontime, the clubhouse mentality completely changing for this team in Spring Training, this Sox team loving to rock chains, Nunez falling over literally everything during the season and the World Series, how close this team was all year, how the team gets over language barriers especially guys like Devers, Cora laughing at Nunez when he said he was gonna die after getting hit by a pitch, and recap the whole postseason journey. After the Nunez interview we break down the overreaction to the Cora "Suck on it" line, the future of Dalton Furbush, a huge reason why Pomeranz actually helped this team win the World Series, JD Martinez not being an MVP finalist being the dumbest thing of ever and then close with your phenomenal Down in the DM questions. Enjoy!

On Thursday's podcast, I reacted to the latest NFL offseason rumors, including the availability of Richard Sherman and Aqib Talib. Should the Patriots be interested in either player? I explained which of the two big-name cornerbacks I'd rather see in New England in 2018. Plus, I expressed my concern about Hanley Ramirez' willingness to play first base for the Boston Red Sox for the entire season, while taking a look at a potential battle at second base between Eduardo Nunez and Dustin Pedroia. I also wondered what it would take for the Red Sox to sign Jake Arrieta, while he is still a free agent. And I closed out the show with some thoughts on David Backes' three-game suspension.
