Andrew Benintendi will likely be traded soon and we surely have a ton of thoughts on that. Today we talk how we'll remember Benny Buttcheeks' time in Boston, if it's the right move to deal him right now, where he ranks among 2018 Sox players that we're sad to see go, recapping his top moments with the team, how wild it is that Gerrit Cole has never won a Cy Young, if Eduardo Nunez is the only baseball player who has ever flopped, when the hell we can expect Brock Holt to give a speech for his 2020 Section 10 Guest of the Year award, why Corey Kluber could very realistically end up in Boston, how difficult it is to judge this Sox roster when there are constant reports that several moves are on the horizon for this team, a sad farewell to the Pride of Pawtucket Rusney Castillo and much more. Enjoy!
The Mets get crushed by the Braves 14-1 on a truly awful debut for Rick Porcello. The former Cy Young pitcher only lasted 2-innings before handing it over to sacrificial lamb, Corey Oswalt, and there was no looking back after that. We had been waiting for the other shoe to drop all series and when it did, the Braves dropped BOMBS all over us. The offense continued to look anemic at the plate, Eduardo Nunez hyperextended his knee and we didn't even have our security blanket of Gary, Keith and Ron to get us through it because Chipper Jones and John Smoltz were having a conference call reunion right in our faces.

Also, the Red Sox welcomed Andrew Cashner to their rotation, released Eduardo Nunez and sent Ryan Brasier to the minors. And a tip of the cap to Pumpsie Green, the first African American Red Sox player, who passed away at age 85.
Rob Bradford is joined by Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland and Chad Jennings of The Athletic to reflect on the Eduardo Nunez, whose time in Boston has come to and an end. The trio remember the highlights, the struggles and the nickname he asked to always put on his cup of coffee.
Benny Biceps, Benny Buttcheeks, Benny Baseball, Andrew Benintendi makes his Section 10 debut today and it's a gem. Before the Benny interview we talk the end of the Eduardo Nunez era, how significant a move it was for the Sox to add Andrew Cashner and recap that series with the Dodgers and further emphasize how much you need to bunt in that 11th inning scenario. Then we get to our Andrew Benintendi interview where we talk his nicknames and which one he hears the most in the clubhouse, the epic catch he made in the ALCS, his favorite moment of the 2018 postseason that wasn't that catch or the final out, how frustrated he is over his current season, favorite moment from the parade, power ranking the drunkest players at the parade and much more. We then talk the Guerin Austin "drama" with Jared and Steve, recap Jared's experience getting his World Series ring and close with your phenomenal Down in the DM questions. Enjoy!

Big-time cookies type of episode today folks. Before we're joined by World Series Champion Eduardo Nunez AKA Noontime, we start by breaking down Jared and Coley's wild adventure on a duck boat for the Red Sox World Champs parade through Boston, how Jared doesn't remember much of anything after the parade was over, which Sox players they interacted with when they were up there, and what Raffy Big Scoops is actually like in real life. We then interview Eduardo Nunez talking about how he just found out about his nickname Noontime, the clubhouse mentality completely changing for this team in Spring Training, this Sox team loving to rock chains, Nunez falling over literally everything during the season and the World Series, how close this team was all year, how the team gets over language barriers especially guys like Devers, Cora laughing at Nunez when he said he was gonna die after getting hit by a pitch, and recap the whole postseason journey. After the Nunez interview we break down the overreaction to the Cora "Suck on it" line, the future of Dalton Furbush, a huge reason why Pomeranz actually helped this team win the World Series, JD Martinez not being an MVP finalist being the dumbest thing of ever and then close with your phenomenal Down in the DM questions. Enjoy!
This year’s parade route will begin at Fenway Park, then head down Lansdowne Street, take a right on Ipswich Street, and then a left on Boylston Street to Tremont Street. The parade then will head straight onto Cambridge Street and finish at New Sudbury Street. Right before the parade started Red Sox fans got some great news as David Price said he wont be going anywhere and will opt in to stay with Red Sox. In other Red Sox news Chris Sales 15 million dollar option has been picked up and so has Eduardo Nunez’s 5 million dollar option. Sale went 12-4 with a 2.11 ERA and 237 strikeouts in 27 regular-season starts in his second season in Boston. He was among the favorites to win the Cy Young this season before he dealt with shoulder issues in the season's second half. Nunez hit .265 with 10 homers and 44 RBIs in 502 plate appearances. He played second base and third base.
We now know what time the city of Boston will be holding their World Series parade for the Boston Red Sox. The duck boats will begin rolling through the city at 11AM and it'll be rain or shine. Some Red Sox offseason rumors have already begun as infielder Eduardo Nunez has made it known that he plans to pick up his option and stay with Boston. And David Price's revenge tour is already picking up steam.
The Boston Red Sox are two wins away from becoming World Series champions once again. LET US GO! We start recapping how wild a week it has been thus far with the Barstool Radio shows at Lansdowne Pub and the next-level buzz around Fenway, how Hubbs is greatly benefiting from this Sox run, remind everyone that the Dodgers indeed won zero games over the last few days, reveal the reason why we don't break Sox-related stories when we get inside info, if there was too much hype for the Kershaw-Sale matchup, destroy the Dodgers pitching coach for complaining about the fans being too close to the bullpen, acknowledge the wild atmosphere at Fenway for the first 2 games of this World Series, the true MVP of the bullpen so far in the postseason, Cora pushing all the right buttons once again, the absolute shock of Eduardo Nunez hitting a 3-run bomb, David Price's dominance in Game 2 and what we should now call him when mentioning his postseason career, Dave Roberts clearly throwing this series so he can celebrate again with the Sox, Yankee fans not understanding that "Yankees Suck" is a lifestyle instead of a head-to-head only phrase, 5 words to describe what we expect over the next three days at Dodger Stadium, and close with your phenomenal Down in the DM questions. LET'S GO WIN THIS DAMN WORLD SERIES!

They discuss Eduardo Nunez's pinch-hit home run, the starters' struggles, the power of the bullpens, Andrew Benintendi's four-hit night, the Dodgers' defensive mistakes and Mookie Betts' taco-winning stolen base. Plus, they preview Hyun-Jin Ryu's matchup with David Price in Game 2.

Far from the pitching duel that baseball analysts expected, the Boston Red Sox powered their way to an 8-4 game one World Series win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Andrew Benintendi solidified himself in franchise history, becoming only the third Red Sox player ever to have four hits in a World Series contest, while Eduardo Nunez blasted the first World Series pinch hit home run since 2009. Boston looks to continue the momentum heading into game two with David Price on the mound. Los Angeles counters with Hyun-Jin Ryu.
