This week's episode of This Week In White Supremacy kicks off with 1HOOD discussing the first two months of Donald Trump's re-elected presidency and the impact his tariff plans are having on increasing stock market volatility after a historical two-day drop in the DOW Jones of 2000 points resulting in a financial havoc that has affected both Wall Street and Main Street Americans.Miracle shifts the focus to the societal impact of these economic changes, including fears surrounding potential, yet looming, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security cuts by Elon Musk and DOGE despite the backlash and recent uprising coming from middle-class and elderly white Americans.Saïd expands the conversation toward a spicy debate confronting the tension within the Democratic party, challenging the anti-trump responses from key party figures like Barak Obama and Kamala Harris, arguing how their past ties to perpetual war, bloodshed from controversial drone strikes, and bad policies set up America for its last and final reckoning for the hypocrisy and inactivity that plague American politics. The episode ends with a call to action for building a better future and highlights discussions on campaign finance reform, community support, grassroots organizing, and the importance of standing strong against systemic white supremacy. --To help us build liberated communities through arts, education, and social justice visit our website 1hood.org to purchase your official 1HOOD apparel or consider making a tax-deductible donation to 1Hood Media. --WATCH THE SHOW: youtube.com/@twiws--FOLLOW 1HOOD youtube.com/@1hoodfacebook.com/1hoodmediainstagram.com/1hoodmediax.com/1hood--About:This Week In White Supremacy is the 1Hood podcast discussing the cultural effects and weekly injustices surrounding white supremacy; through intelligent, insightful commentary and often comedic conversations this podcast is geared towards adults who want to digest the latest news and events with humor and Hip-Hop.--DISCLAIMERS: The views and opinions expressed during this presentation are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 1Hood Media, 1Hood Power, and or its affiliates. Are you frustrated with our federal government and the decisions that have led to our nation being in massive debt, on the brink of World War III, and in societal upheaval and a culture war? Are you angered when you see good people punished for speaking their minds or peacefully protesting, while others are not even prosecuted for crimes such as rioting, looting, drug dealing, and child sex trafficking? Are you fed up with sending your tax dollars to defend borders in countries across the world, but the tax dollars spent on our borders are not used to actually secure the borders, but are used for facilitating open border policies and to pay expenses for illegal immigrants, many of whom are fighting age males from terrorist countries? If you are like most Americans, you may be thinking this is all due to incompetence. However, there is no incompetence involved. It is very intentional and is often caused by the divide between Main Street Americans and lobbyists and elected officials who undermine our freedoms as they pursue profits and power. In this episode, Linda discusses the divide between Main Street vs. K Street and provides action items for you to become an informed advocate for your freedom. ©Copyright 2023, Prosperity 101, LLC _____________________________________________________________________ For information and resources visit: https://prosperity101.com To order a copy of Prosperity 101 – Job Security Through Business Prosperity by Linda J. GET THE TRANSCRIPT AT HTTP://PETERNAVARRO.SUBSTACK.COM There is nothing extremist about Trump's MAGA. There is nothing extremist about McCarthy's new bill. Republicans need to successfully deliver that message and win this fight on the battlefield of economics where it belongs. To cut the projected debt by about $4.5 trillion, the House Republican deal proposes very few actual cuts other than a roll back to last year's extravagant levels Unless the US government brings its unprecedented spending spree and burgeoning national debt under control, Americans face a grim and prolonged back to the 1970s stagflation future of soaring interest rates, plunging wages, a prolonged bear market and devastated 401(k)s, and, as sure as night follows day, far more Draconian cutbacks in government services. The inflation part of the current stagflation equation is being largely driven by a “demand-pull inflation” almost entirely the result of the Biden regime's massive and repeated fiscal stimuli and government overspending. Unless House Republicans prevail in this current debt limit confrontation, our national debt will continue to balloon, service on that debt will eat an ever-increasing share of our tax revenues, and every dollar that goes to debt service – and many of those dollars flow abroad in a wealth transfer to foreigners like Communist China – is a dollar NOT spent on serving the needs of Main Street Americans. Local entrepreneur Janice Shade's new book is Moving Mountains: The Power of Main Street Americans to Change Our Economy (Onion River Press). Write the Book Prompt: Can you imagine "economic justice for all?" What would that look like? How would it different from our present system? Can you think of a few small, symbolic images that might represent achieving that vision? Does it bring to mind a person or group from your past? If so, maybe write about them today. Let the expression, taken from Janice Shade's book description, inspire you. Think hard about economic justice for all, and write. Music Credit: Aaron Shapiro This is one of several shorter interviews Shelagh is conducting with Vermont authors whose new books have had their tours upended by Corona. Stay tuned: there will be more! And if you'd like to order Janice's book through her local bookstore, that would be Phoenix Books.
