Der geneigte Leser könnte vielleicht interessiert sein, einmal die Zusammenfassung der Ereignisse aus Sicht des Globalen Südens zu lesen. Hier also eine Zusammenfassung, so wie sie außerhalb der Medien der den Iran dämonisierenden Kolonialmächte und ihren Vasallen wahrgenommen wird, wodurch natürlich auch eine Einseitigkeit gegeben ist. Die Angaben stammen zum großen Teil aus iranischen Meldungen. Der Leser mag sich selbst ein Urteil bilden.Wie alles begannDie friedlichen Proteste (1) gegen wirtschaftliche Missstände begannen letzten Monat im Großen Basar von Teheran. Sie eskalierten dann durch eine höchst komplex organisierte, von Außen orchestrierte und gesteuerte Kampagne zu blutigen Straßenschlachten zwischen bewaffneten Randalierer (2), die auf Sicherheitskräfte und normale Passanten losgingen. Ziel dieser Kampagne war es, die tatsächliche Unzufriedenheit in einen umfassenden gewaltsamen Aufstand umzuwandeln.Zunächst ein Wort zu den Ursachen. Jimmy Dore and The Grayzone's Max Blumenthal respond to Steve Bannon's claim that Trump has rejected a large-scale bombing campaign on Iran and that the Iranian government is supposedly on the verge of collapse.
