Toa Samoa may not have won Old Trafford this morning but a lot of people in the world were willing Samoa to win, and certainly a great many in Samoa and Aotearoa.  Joining us is Alf Filipaina Auckland City councillor, brother of the late Olsen Filipaina, The Big O, who died earlier this year, and who played top league in Australia, captained Samoa, and also played for New Zealand.

We talk with Patrick Skene, the author of the book The Big O: The Life and Times of Olsen Filipaina. We chat with Patrick about Olsen, his life and amazing career, his legacy for Polynesians and the rise of Pasifica talent in the world of rugby league.
