Phil Wortley, Andrew Harden-Sweetnam and Karl Offord share their story of running the London Marathon dressed as Batman, Robin and The Riddler to raise finds for Children with Cancer as part of Team Robin (listeners can get more information and donate via www.TeamRobin.UK). The race organisers even played the Batman theme tune as our terrific-trio approached the finish line!   In a marathon special we also look at some of the records set at the elite end of the race, with wins for Kelvin Kiptum and Sifan Hassan in the men's & women's elite race, and Marcel Hug and Madison De Rosario in the elite wheelchair races. Meanwhile, in the Manchester to Liverpool ultra-distance run, there is the story of the 3rd placed finisher being disqualified for getting a lift in a car!   In the Women's 6 Nations rugby, England's win over Ireland and France's win over Wales sets them up for a Grand Slam decider this weekend, in front of a world record crowd with 53,000 tickets already sold. And in the Men's Premiership the final 4 teams were confirmed in the play offs. Meanwhile in Rugby League, Warrington's 9 week run at the top of the table was ended as their loss to St Helens and Wigan's win over Wakefield means the “Piemen” now leapfrog to the top of the table. In the Challenge Cup Halifax's 28-0 win over Bradford Bulls has been rewarded with a home tie against St Helens in the last 16, whilst York City Knights being drawn against London Broncos means that we are guaranteed a Championship side in the last 8. We bring you the latest twists and turns in the Premier League and the Women's Super League, as well as a look back at the FA Cup Semi-Finals which means that Manchester United and Manchester City will play each other in a major final for the first time. We also have the sad news that England Lioness's Captain, Leah Williamson, will miss the World Cup this summer due to a ruptured ACL.   Having shared our ire regarding the Grand National protesters in last week's Get A Grip, this week we bring their colleagues in Stop Oil to book, following their protests disrupted the early rounds of snooker's World Championships in Sheffield.  Listen in for fantastic episode 99 – without a Red Balloon in sight!

Before his Super League debut, James spent time on dual registration in 2012 with Workington Town making a handful of appearances gaining valuable first-team experience. Green's debut was an interesting affair, as he was placed on report and received retrospective punishment leading to a suspension. A few more dual registration moves followed including stints with Batley Bulldogs and Gateshead Thunder during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. 2014 would be James' breakout year at Hull KR and he would feature in almost every game for The Robins. He was voted as the Young Player of The Year, just before his 24th birthday. 2015 was another good year for James as he helped guide the club to a first Challenge Cup Final since 1986, but unfortunately, he wouldn't get to run out at Wembley after Head Coach Chris Chester named him as 18th man. 2016 would be James' final season at Rovers after signing a 2 year deal with newly promoted Leigh Centurions. Spells with Leigh, Castleford, Bradford Bulls and York City Knights have followed with James' recently announced his retirement from the game aged just 30 years old, however, he has eyes firmly on his career after playing Rugby League with him recently launching his own company Green & Green, which specialises in Mortgages and Insurance. Eithan returns with Episode 11 of the Rugby League review and brings with him two podcast debutants and fellow Prost International writers. Namesake Ethan and Benedict join him alongside Hull Kingston Rovers prop Matty Storton ahead of the 'Rivals Round' in Super League. Still just 22, Storton discusses how he rose through the ranks at hometown club Bradford Bulls during their spell in League 1 and helped them to win promotion back up to the Championship before securing a regular starting spot as Prop in Tony Smith's KR lineup. Signing a new contract with the Robins a few days prior to recording, Storton also talked to the lads about how both he and the team have developed in the last couple of years, with their sights now firmly set on finishing in the play-offs come the end of the regular season. Next up for Smith's side, a trip to neighbours Hull FC for the fierce local derby and Storton discusses the prospect of that game too. Away from the Rovers man, Eithan, Benedict and Ethan also preview the 'Rivals Round', giving their predictions for each of the fixtures over the coming days including that Hull derby. Wigan Warriors and St Helens lock horns again, as do Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Trinity amongst others. All this and more in the Rugby League Review.

The Hack is back and what a show we have in store for you this week as your hosts Leon, Paul and Jo are joined by none other than Hull rugby legend Lee Radford. Lee is a former England international rugby player who spent most of his career representing Hull. He had a hugely successful spell at the Bradford Bulls sandwiched in the middle, going on to coach the club he represented on over 190 occasions. Lee is now set to become head coach of the Castleford Tigers, where he will look to add to the honours he won as a player. Lee's career provides a perspective not yet covered on the show and one especially poignant with regards to the 100x Leadership challenge which our hosts are also doing on our spin-off series, 100x Leader. To have a leader in elite sport on the show provides a wide range of thought-provoking topics to discuss, including effective leadership, building a team and developing potential. As always, The Hack focuses on people, processes and technology and it's especially interesting to learn the process that goes on at a top-level sporting institution. With Lee set to start a new role as head coach of Castleford Tigers next year, this episode provides an insight into the man himself as our hosts try to discover what makes him tick. From books that have changed his life to small purchases with a positive impact, we're able to learn more about Lee than just his rugby exploits. With his role with the Tigers looming large in his mind, we're able to get a sneak peek into what the club might look like under his stewardship, his plans for the team and his ambition to align the club with the local community. The Hack continues to support the fantastic work of Andy's Man Club, a non-profit organisation in the North of England seeking to provide a welcoming environment for men struggling with mental health issues. All this and more make for another fascinating episode of The Hack that you will not want to miss! Sponsored by: Talk suicide Powered By: Think Cloud

On the show this week I speak to the Barrow Raiders Chairman Steve Neale. Since lockdown, despite the season being suspended, he has been able to bring in vital income for the club through setting up a beer garden on the Craven Park pitch. The club has recently signed former Super League and Toronto player Hakim Miloudi, and Steve says this income was a key reason why they were able to afford him. He has ambitious plans of going unbeaten this season in League 1 and in the future pushing for a place in Super League. Also on the show I offer my thoughts on the recent decision to not grant Hull KR, Bradford Bulls and Castleford Tigers an Elite Academy licence. There are also rumours of a return to licensing for Super League, and I discuss why that would be the wrong move. On today's episode, we're joined by Jamie Peacock MBE, former Rugby League player, motivational speaker and mentor. During his career, he played for the Leeds Rhinos, the Bradford Bulls, captained Great Britain and England at international level, and that's just a handful of his achievements. In 2011, he was awarded an MBE for services to the game. From the get-go, Jamie's motivation shines through. He explains the route he had to take to break through into the first team, and how this was as much to do with his mindset and self-discipline, as his rugby skill – and sometimes even more so. Jamie's dedication is no doubt a large factor in his continued success, on, and off the pitch. Now an accomplished motivational speaker and mentor, Jamie's career and life experience has enabled him to share his knowledge with others, with the focus on making them better. The leadership fundamentals he gained during his time as a captain and team member, and the challenges he faced, have allowed him to build a successful empire, all based around helping others. In his own words, Jamie overcame a lack of natural “sporting” talent and became one of England's best captains. His achievements speak volumes and his infectious energy and drive makes him a true pleasure to listen to. The overarching message is to BELIEVE - believe in yourself, play to your strengths, listen and learn from those around you, practice self-discipline, and be patient.
