In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Aniello react to Mikko Rantanen’s post on Instagram addressing the changes he went through this season and thanking the Dallas Stars fans. Would Mikko have handled this season differently in retrospect? After watching last night’s NBA Finals game and the Thunder’s Jalen Williams go for 40 points, Zach and Aniello ask if Jamal Murray can still be the robin to Jokic’s batman on a championship team. Have the Nuggets overvalued Murray throughout his time in Denver? Should the Broncos pick up the phone and start shopping around Audric Estime? Is it “inevitable” that Estime will be cut from the Broncos during training camp? How will the Buffs look in their first season without Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter? What would qualify as success this season?

America's Vietnam Veterans didn't come home to parades. They didn't come home to standing ovations. They didn't come home to a welcoming public that embraced what they did overseas. When many of our Vietnam veterans came home, they got spit on. They were told that their uniform was a disgrace, they weren't integrated into society, and many people shunned them.58,281 of our Vietnam veterans never came home at all. Queens, NY bore more than its share of service and of loss. In September, Fran Racioppi had the chance to welcome home our Vietnam Veterans and all those who served from New York when the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund brought the Wall That Heals to New York City.A 3/4 replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, the wall comes to those who can't make it to DC. After the police escort, building the wall and the opening ceremony, Fran sat down under the lights with the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Veterans Services James Hendon, Chairman of the New York City Council Veterans Committee Bob Holden, Vietnam Veterans Association National President John Rowan, and Tony Nunciato, one of New York City's bravest veteran families, having lost his brother and Aniello in Vietnam. They talked about the struggles our Vietnam Veterans faced when they returned, how America's institutions weren't ready for so many who had seen so much, how many of them answered the call to lead in politics and set the foundation for small business and our economy, and what NYC is doing to support Veterans of every generation. Freedom's never free. It wasn't in the past, it isn't now, and it won't be in the future. To all our Vietnam veterans, thank you and welcome home. Learn more on The Jedburgh Podcast Website. Dan Berger and Pete Soergel Pete Soergel, winemaker for Lynmar Estate Wines, joins Steve Jaxon and Dan Berger on California Wine Country today. Dan Berger has brought another bottle of wine from his gigantic cellar. Recently he has brought in a lot of well-aged Sauvignon Blancs. But this is a 2019 white Pinot Noir from Aniello in the Patagonia region of Argentina. This wine is four and a half years old. It was made to be consumed earlier and is still good. To make white Pinot Noir, you get the juice before the red skins can give the juice color. It's also reasonably priced at $15. Lynmar Estate is a family owned winery located in Sebastopol in the Russian River AVA where the Goldridge soil is. Dan mentions that it is a very cool region and you have to plant the right variety for the right location. The family began with one parcel in 1980 and now has about 100 acres where they grow the grapes, make wine and live in Russian River AVA. The Lynmar website's Vineyards page (please scroll all the way down) describes their "...full-time crew of benefitted employees that work year-round to cultivate each block's individual growing cycle. This level of expertise has a direct impact on the quality of Lynmar wine, and our ability to produce a portfolio of unique and nuanced wines." Click the logo to visit our sponsor Rodney Strong for up-to-date info on concerts and other events. Pete Soergel grew up in Pittsburgh, PA on an apple farm and wanted to try making wine after getting a degree in Horticulture at Virginia Tech. He did his first internship in 2006 at Landmark vineyard. After that, he got a job at Kosta-Browne in Sebastopol in around 2007, which led him to Lynmar in 2012. Burgundian Character in Russian River Valley Dan describes how the southern part of Russian River Valley seemed very cool for grapes, and it took some risk to plant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which have done very well there. Other varieties like Syrah and Riesling may also do well there. As the climate gets warmer, you might have to adapt and plant other varietals that like a warmer climate. Click the logo to visit our sponsor Bottle Barn online for the coolest bargains on wine, beer and spirits. More wineries are putting vineyard names on bottles of Pinot Noir, says Dan. The AVA and the vineyard are both important. Lynmar wines are primarily available through the wine club. They make about 12,000 cases per year and 90% goes to the wine club. They are also in a few local restaurants and have been in Bottle Barn occasionally. Their tasting room is open from Thursday to Monday, by appointment only for hosted tastings at 11am and 2 pm.

Today, on Crime & Entertainment, we present another installment of "Behind the Gangster." On this show, we will deep dive into a particular gangster's life that has been portrayed on-screen. As audience members, we often wonder about the validity of story lines within organized crime movies. Well, "Behind the Gangster" will allow you to get the answers. Today, alongside Anthony Ruggiano Jr. we will give a perspective of the Teflon Don himself John Gotti.John Gotti is one of the most charismatic & polarizing mafia members ever in the history of LA Cosa Nostra. Gotti, alongside his brothers, grew up in poverty and turned to a life of crime at an early age. Gotti quickly became one of the crime family's biggest earners and a protégé of Aniello Dellacroce, the Gambino family underboss, operating out of the neighborhood of Ozone Park in Queens.Gotta would rise through the ranks and become a full made member of the American Mafia. When long time Boss Carlo Gambino passed away many thought the job would go to Underboss Aniello Dellacroce, however the spot was given to Paul Castellano his nephew.  The resentment of Gotti plus the fact that his brothers and members of his crew were dealing drugs only fuled the fire that was burning. Aniello died shortly after Paul became boss and FBI's would bring down indictment of members of Gotti's crew for selling narcotics, Gotti began to fear that he and his brother would be killed by Castellano for dealing drugs. As this fear continued to grow, and amidst growing dissent over the leadership of the crime family, Gotti organized the murder of Castellano. At his peak, Gotti was one of the most powerful and dangerous crime bosses in the United States. During his era, he became widely known for his outspoken personality and flamboyant style, which gained him favor with some of the general public. While his peers generally avoided attracting attention, especially from the media, Gotti became known as "The Dapper Don", for his expensive clothes and personality in front of news cameras. He was later given the nickname "The Teflon Don" after three high-profile trials in the 1980s resulted in his acquittal, though it was later revealed that the trials had been tainted by jury tampering, juror misconduct and witness intimidation. Gotti's underboss, Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, aided the FBI in convicting Gotti; in 1991, Gravano agreed to turn state's evidence and testify against Gotti after hearing the boss make disparaging remarks about him on a wiretap that implicated them both in several murders. In 1992, Gotti was convicted of five murders, conspiracy to commit murder, racketeering, obstruction of justice, tax evasion, illegal gambling, extortion, and loansharking. He received life in prison without parole and was transferred to United States Penitentiary, Marion. Gotti died of throat cancer on June 10, 2002Was John Gotti good for the Mob?
